They showed up on time, but never provided a quote for the project. I called after a couple weeks, and was told they would send it that evening. Nothing, so we went elsewhere. If a company doesn’t want the job, they should just say so up front.

Had an appointment scheduled for today Friday ¹¹⁄₇ between 10am — 10:30 in San Jose. After speaking to the gentleman that answered the phone he asked my email me the address of the appointment did so the same day.
I waited till 11am not call /​no show!!! Not a good way to do business I would say… If don’t want to bid on work just say so up front «DON’T WASTE PEOPLES TIME»

If their driving reflects at all on their work, I would never hire these guys.
On July 3 2014, this van changed lanes on Stevens Creek Blvd to get on 280 without a blinker or looking. If not for me swerving to avoid him, my car would have been totaled and passengers undoubtedly injured.
Remember Phillips Handyman Services, you are driving around with a van that has your business info on it. Unless you want to scare off (or kill) potential customers, you should be driving your absolute best in that van!

Happened to be looking for a handyman to help my 90-​year-​old grandpa remodel his rental house and I saw their van pull up at a gas station so naturally I inquired. There were two guys and I spoke with the driver and asked him a few questions and told him my situation and he said he is not a «helper» and started laughing. I said hes not looking for a helper, he is 90 and needs someone to do the things he cant and he knows what he wants done to his house, his reply was «well then that will cost more». I guess they like doing things their own ways and not the way the owner wants things done. He just stood there and laughed along with the guy that was with him. I honestly felt so stupid for even approaching them in the first place! I just cant believe a «grown man» would talk to a 24 year old girl like that and make her feel like such an idiot for asking a simple question about their «handyman» business. He told me he would give me his card anyway and I just said nevermind, no thanks and walked away. Again, they started lauging at me like I was a crazy person for asking someone driving a handyman van if they would be interested in doing the remodeling on my grandpas rental house, following the plans my grandpa has come up with. so pretty much… if you have your own ideas… these arent the guys for you! Thanks for making me feel like a complete idiot guys!

All I have to say is their prices are affordable, works are SOLID and AWESOME. Definitely use their services for any work around the house and I would recommended them to everyone I know.
