Pete G Magic was funny and had the kids in the palm of his hand once his show started. It was a cozy space for him to work in, but with his backdrop and other props, we had a big experience for our 6-​year old’s birthday party. It was worth it to see the kids’ faces after each trick – thanks Pete G!

We hired Pete G for our twins’ 6^th birthday party. Pete was great to work with from beginning to end. He is very responsive via email, and was always very positive and professional. He sent personalized videos before and after the party. The theme of the party was «Harry Potter», and Pete worked the theme into his communication with me prior to the show, the music at his show, and even in my twins’ goody bags after the show. The show itself was also perfect for this age group (ages 3 – 7, average age 6). He used a lot of physical comedy in his tricks, which the kids ate up. I would highly recommend Pete G to anyone needing a magician for a kids’ party!

Pete was great to work with. I booked Pete last minute for my Son’s 1^st birthday with no problem. He arrived on time, set up and started his show on time. There were about 160 people at my Son’s 1^st birthday, of which about 50 – 60 were children. My Son’s 1^st birthday was at a Rec Center, and Pete was able to host his magician show while the adults ate and children watched him. This was great! He had no problem working in front of a big crowd and did well. Hat’s off to Pete G! Thank you for your wonderful magician show!

Pete was the MAGICAL highlight of my son’s 4^th b-​day party this past Saturday! All the kids loved his many tricks, as well as all the adult guests telling me afterward that they had enjoyed his performance. This was the first time my wife and I hired a professional entertainer and our first time to own a house big enough to throw a home party for our little boy, so we were a bit nervous about all the planning. Pete made the entertaining part effortless for us by his very friendliness and very accommodating willingness to put on a fun show for everyone. It was priceless to watch my little boy laughing the entire time at all the comedic magic tricks. Just when I thought Pete couldn’t be more wonderful, his last trick with a bonus birthday gift for my son and keeping to the party theme, was an extraordinary and unexpected surprise. The thoughtfulness and effort I can see that Pete had put into preparing the 2 hour magic show just for my son’s special day, deserved my appreciation and recommendation. Thank you again, Pete, for proving that the decision to hire you was the right choice over two other possible entertainers!

Great show — from 4 to 64 all were engaged and in awe for the show held in Almaden San Jose Library. Luckily found this event otherwise would have missed it. The ending with standing & … Was great.

We hired Pete to do his magic show at my son’s 5^th year birthday party. He was awesome. Right from the beginning we found Pete to be easy to work with, very friendly and flexible. He kept a bunch of excited kids engaged while he was setting up and then he thoroughly entertained them for another 30 – 40 minutes during the show. Even the adults were impressed. I observed several parents asking Pete for his business card.
I highly recommend Pete G to anyone.

Well, I’m going to be updating this as time goes on but I found it entirely unfair that someone would think that this magician would just hand out someone’s phone number to a stranger. Name one professional that would do this for anyone. I contacted Mr. Magic via email last night and early this morning he’s already asking me questions about my event. He is thorough in examining what your event is about and what your expectations are and above all he is very flexible.
Thus far he’s been really helpful. He came to our house to view the performance area, let us know the different options in area he could work with as this is an outdoor party.
He is quite personable and he really does come off as someone who would do anything for his client. We wanted this to be somewhat of a surprise so he even offered to show up early and blend in with the crowd until it was showtime.

Well our party rolled around and right on time, he shows up and blends in with the crowd, keeping the ruse up until showtime. It was funny because he just stood there watching us move the party tables out of the way to make a space for his show and didn’t say a word. If he’d have helped, it would have given it away. He really played it up.
Needless to say, people were completely surprised and he did a mix of traditional rope tricks and a card trick or two I had never seen before, one especially impressive. He has a blend of different things he does, some are hilarious. Pete went about a half hour then spent about fifteen minutes just with the kids at the party which really went over big with them. His last fifteen minutes was spent roaming and doing card tricks for the adults, myself included.
Pete is funny, he does his magic but he really can make people laugh while doing it. I was completely satisfied and so was the party attendees. I can’t thank him enough for turning this event into something really special. Would I hire him again? Absolutely. I spent quite a bit of money on my party overall but what I spent to hire Pete was entirely worth it and it was a very good rate for what I got.

Pete puts together a great show. when presented with a challenge he does not buckle under the pressure, instead he goes above and beyond to entertain his audience. he puts together a great show for children and adults alike. He is a true magician. If you like magic and you want to be entertained by a funny guy, this is the man for the job.

We tried to book Pete for a children’s birthday party, and were *just* about to book, when I asked a SILLY question– «could you provide me with referrals from parents who have booked you for their children’s parties»? He actually replied with «My previous clients don’t feel comfortable with me giving their phone number out. If this is mandatory, then I will need to remove my offer for the party. «. WOW really??? If you’re worth your salt, you’d have a least a COUPLE of clients who would vouch for you! Yep, deal killer all right. So 2 stars because he «may» be all that and more, but can’t back it up with a single live referral. Sorry!

Pete is fantastic! I’ve seen him perform at several functions and he always seems to have a new trick up his sleeve. I asked him last year to perform at a holiday party and my nieces had a blast. His demo video is pretty cool. I look forward to seeing him again.

Bravo! Excellent show! Pete was able to amaze all the «know-​it-​all, want-​to-​be» 9 year old magicians at our party. Everyone was thoroughly entertained and in awe. I highly recommend Pete G for both the young and the old.

Pete is funny and talented. We have watched his show a couple of times and always have a laugh. He can set up the show for the young crowd as well as us older folks. Always a good show.
