It’s really sad when a woman knows more than the associate at the store…
I asked the associate if he can help me find vulcanizing cement since I couldn’t find it. Without trying he says, «Oh we don’t have it, you can try Home Depot cause you don’t even use it for cars.» Lol!
I look at him and said, «You’ve gotta be kidding me right? You use vulcanizing cement for tire repairs… Lol, you can use them for patching your bike tube too.» He then replied, «Oh thanks miss, that’s new information for me.»
I ended up finding the vulcanizing cement myself and made sure he ringed me up. He looked very embarrassed and did not even look me in the eye. I felt sorry in a way, but I walked out laughing haha

Nice guys. Super helpful. One guy went out of his way to assist me more than a normal sales clerk would! I will always shop here because of the great customer service I’ve received. Doesn’t hurt I’m a chick. :)

Hmmmm. This place is a bit sketchy. Customer service was a bit strange — good thing we just needed something simple (back light bulb) and high-​tailed out of there!

Horrible service & stupid employees that don’t know crap about cars! I try not to be sexist, but it’s still true that female parts store workers are the worst when at Kragen’s (yes, it’s Oreilly now, but the service is still just as bad). Monica is THE DUMBEST counter jockey I have met so far. She did not know what ‘Temp Sensor’ refers to or what company makes the accord. She ends up bringing out the wrong sensor (yes, there are 2 on the older cars & I specified EXACTLY which one I wanted, including part #) & when I told her it was the wrong one, she IMMEDIATELY said that they can’t get the other one. I looked @ the computer screen & there was only 1 on there! I already called ahead with the actual part # to assure they had it. She is just lazy & did not want to even check. Karl S. already stated the problem here… I’m not hispanic, so the service sucks. But it makes sense when you consider that this store is basically in the ghetto.
As far as parts stores, Oreilly/​Kragens is the worst & of those, this store is the worst!

Worst customer service ever. Typical understaffed store with employees that put their personal conversations and needs in front of helping customers. This store is right around the corner from my house, yet it is my last choice to go to. I went there today out of pure laziness not wanting to drive across town to my normal place, and after I filled my shopping basket I walked to the counter to get rung up. After waiting ten minutes for help, after watching employee after employee walk by and ignore the line of customers, I put my basket down and left. Every time I come to this store it’s like pulling teeth to get any help. Go ahead and call me a racist since I’m white, but it’s the Hispanic social club, and if you’re not Hispanic, you’re not getting service. I’m not kidding. Any time of day, any day of the week, go to this store and hang out 5 minutes and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. The name change is the only thing that has changed, this place is still a tried and true crummy Kragen Auto.
