OneSource Office Systems

I found OneSource Office Systems after having a bad experience with Direct Source Copiers. Direct Source Copiers would not assist with the warranty on the machine we purchased from them. So I went local. I found Tom George to be a standup guy. Him and his company are amazing, and honest! Not only did he take over the warranty work and fix our machine, he also got us two additional copiers at a very competitive price, delivered and installed to two different locations the day after we ordered them, with free delivery. Additionally — pricing on toner is competitive and the fact that we can just reach out for simple questions, and get a response the same day without having to jump through a major phone tree is a wonderful feeling. I would highly recommend Tom George to anyone in the Silicon Valley for their copier needs.

I have used Unilocal extensively but mainly to read comments. This will be my very first posting of a review and I’m happy to say its a positive review. I’m in the service industry myself so I often write emails for both negative and positive experiences.
Tom and a few others helped me with a Brother printer repair. They are professional, helpful, courteous, and great to work with. I can definitely tell that customer service is a very high priority for OneSource. They definitely went out of their way to make me a happy customer. I will definitely bring any of my future printing needs to their company.

Just to update the information:
I have got a work order what i have signed. It was stating absolutely clear that the charge will be for 1 (one) hour of work.
About the traffic, gas and other things: your company doesn’t do repair in the shop, what will save your employees time, and make them work more efficiently in the shop with the devices brought to you by customers.
After adding all your charges my bill came very close to the price of the new machine.‘
I have never been so frustrated and never ever wrote such a negative review.
Two Stars stay!

After making a appointment, and paying up front, I waited a week for someone to show.
The next week I called to see why they never came and he said after reviewing the paperwork he decided not to come out because someone else had tried working on it first and couldn’t fix it and he didn’t want to even try…
It’s fine, but they never contacted me, or called to tell me the decision not to work on it.
I mean do they fix machines ?
What a baby.
Kinda weird business, good thing there is Unilocal!
The owner did end up calling to apologize, so I raised it a star, but I’m still not thrilled.
I did get a good repair guy, Fast copier service!

We had a major problem with one of our office printers.
Long story short, Once Source sent a technician out who diagnosed the problem, ordered the need part and had the printer up and running the next day.
I was very pleased and impressed with the level of service and the timely manner in which they addressed the problem.
They were a little costly but well worth the price for the service and speed at which they took care of this for us.

You heard it here first…
Our office fax machine stopped working over the weekend and I was put in charge of finding a fix (whether it be repair or a replacement). *half-​hearted yay* So I set about looking for a fax drum because I had last seen the message «Change Drum Soon» on the display for about a month even though the fax machine was working fine up til its fatal end.
I came across this company on the Internet and decided to give them a try. Big mistake. First, even though I had emphasized multiple times with the sales manager, Daniel, that I needed the fax drum asap and the reason why we were going with them was because they could have it delivered by first thing the next morning, it didn’t arrive as promised. It arrived the next afternoon instead.
(Oh Unilocal readers — don’t fret. This was not enough to drop them down to one star yet.)
When it was close to noon, I called and found out that Daniel was sick was the flu (poor Daniel) but that I could speak to his supervisor, which turned out to be the owner, Tom. Tom was apologetic about the miscommunication and said that he would call me back after he followed up. No offer to eat the shipping charges or anything. Eh.
Long story short, the new fax drum didn’t fix the fax machine. And OneSource refused to take back the brand-​spankin’ new fax drum — even though it never got a chance to be used — or give us a refund. We decided to go with a new fax machine instead of throwing more money down an older fax machine drain.
So the reason for the one star? During my oh-​so-​unpleasant phone call with owner Tom regarding the issue of the return and refund, both of which he refused, he suggested that I would not have the problem of returning the fax drum if I had asked his company to service the fax machine in the first place.
Excuse me?
Am I getting punished for not using a company that I had already lost faith in when it didn’t deliver the fax drum on time as promised?
Ho, wait a minute!
This is definitely Unilocal worthy so my Unilocal friends don’t get in the same pickle with this company. I also filed a BBB complaint. We’ll see if it gets me anywhere.
