Best milk tea in the bay! My wife and I loved it. You can tell everything is made fresh because it has such great flavor. Will definitely be coming back!

Came here today to order a honeydew smoothie and a taro milk tea. Both were very good! The girl ask every question of how I would like the drinks. I thought before that it Only came one way.(What a noob) well beside the fact that she open a New realm of milk tea for me. I will be making this spot a definitely stop before home now. Oh yes they also have a machine that brew the tea fresh. How come I don’t see this at quickly? ^0lalalala ~~~~l love here!

This tea shop is conveniently located next to a liquor store. They seem to offer a good variety of tea and smoothies with many popular flavors. I tried their dark roast oolong tea with no ice and half sugar, it was very good! I have also heard good things about their sea salt coffee, maybe I will try that next time!

Prepare yourself as you enter this place, as you don’t actually enter this specific pearl tea place but rather a liquor store. Instead of giant couches, pay to play arcade machines, and kawaii decorations, you have handles of jack, an army recruitment cutout and metal bars over the windows. Pearl tea with an edge, I like it. I’m docking 1 star because I wouldn’t feel right«hanging out» here. The chairs aren’t really comfy enough to sit for a long time and since it is inside a liquor store I’d feel weird hanging out there without leaving looking like i’m preparing for a frat party. Weird location aside, this place actually does have legitimately good drinks. I’ve been here twice and picked up a few different teas for my friends and myself ranging from matcha green tea, peach tea, almond milk, coconut milk and mango smoothie. They were all good, on the slightly sweeter side and the pearls were done right. Not undercooked or overly soggy or chewy.

Ask for password. [[INTRO]] Omni Cha has been opened since June 2014 and is another addition to the boba shop frenzy in Bay Area. Omni is a local family-owned shop and personally serviced by the owner and his family members. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a young boy! He looked like he was in high school and took my order and even made my drink :) It’s so cute when youngins help out with family business! [[LOCATION/AMBIANCE]] 1651 Monterey Road is hard to find so look for FLOURISHINGGARDEN and Omni Cha is right across from it, attached to the Monterey Market Liquors store. Monterey Road itself is a sketchy area and one would never imagine a boba shop could be located here but surprise! I overheard the owner stating that Omni is located right between two high schools which he hopes will be advantageous once school starts. Omni Cha’s theme is marine mermaid blueness! It’s cute… The mermaid mascot they have is on every cup and they placed cute abstract, b/w stickers around the store. It’s attached to the liquor store but I am assuming it’s for economical reasons. It was super hot though :(No A/C? [[DRINKS/EXPERIENCE]] I couldn’t handle any heavy milk-based tea so I opted for a Roasted Oolong tea with black pearls(total: $ 3.25). It seems that pearls is included in their prices so it’s not an additional $.50, cool. Overall, the Roasted Oolong had a refreshing, strong tea taste and I should’ve asked for Less Sweet since the syrup was too much for me personally. Note to the Owner: perhaps put a sign offering that you can adjust levels of Ice and Sweetness. I saw the young boy put in a cup full of ice, but I did not mind since it was 90F+ in San Jose today. Surprisingly, the owner(I’m assuming) wandered in and chatted with me briefly and answered a few questions I had :) which is all the tips I posted above! He was super nice and friendly conversed with other customers too. He probably gauged my enthusiasm about MT haha and offered me a complimentary Sea Salt Cream Green Tea! AWESOME! Their sea salt cream is pretty standard :) I would say on par with One Tea, T4, Gong Cha… This just makes me wonder if they all get it from the same manufacturer… The only unique cream I’ve tasted was from Sharetea. Overall, don’t judge a book by its cover. Omni Cha has a good vantage point that it is located along Monterey Road and the nearest boba shops is further away along Curtner or Capitol Expwy. BOBA is for EVERYONE, for the PEOPLE! I will be back if I am in the area :)
