Wow! Luis, the owner of No Problem Pools, just saved us lots of money. I had discovered the main water pump for the pool was leaking and called Luis to come by to check it out. I had just moved into our new house and he had reminded me of my home warranty. I took his advice and called my home warranty company. They came out and replaced a brand new pump unit right away. Again, I forgot all about my home warranty but Luis had reminded me of it but he didn’t have to. He’s a DEFINITELY an honest and helpful person and a GREAT business owner too! I HIGHLY recommend No Problem Pools for all your pool service needs!

I’ve been with No Problem Pools for over 2 years now. The first service technician was great and the pool was always sparkling. Recently, they’ve switched me to another technician, who was very sloppy and the pool was never clean. I recently came back from vacation and the water level was extremely low (below the skimmer), and I was worried that this had damaged the pool pump. I’m not even sure how long the water had been this low. No problem pools claimed it as a leak, but I’ve never had any issues since. There are weeks when they do not even come to service the pool. I won’t be going with this company anymore.

Found two leaks in our pool through a leak detection company and decided to hire No Problem Pools. Luis, the owner, was patient answering all my questions and responding to my calls and texts very quickly. He knew we were in a time crunch, since we were expecting house guests, so he sent Jaime and Luigi to repair the leaks – one at the spa area and the other at the skimmer. Jaime and Luigi are very skilled and professional through and through. It took them three partial days to finish the job and the end result is even better than I imagined. I will definitely hire them again! PS No Problem Pools estimate came in right in the middle of the bids I received.

Luis always delivers on his commitments. If he says he’ll be there at noon, he’s there just before noon. If he quotes you a price to fix the pool, he honors that price, no add-​ons, etc. His people are very competent and friendly and explain carefully what they did so that there are no doubts or misunderstandings. Dean came by and replaced the old pool motor with a new Variable Speed motor which was more efficient and quieter using less Wattage. Everything was done quickly without fuss. He is even researching how to upgrade my entire installation to be completely integrated and remotely activated through my iPhone, making sure that Zodiac’s iLink and all other parts are in stock. So I am up and running very fast and for the future, I will have an upgrade path to a completely integrated and remote controlled Pool & Spa with lights, waterfall, heater, jets, etc. It is important to pick a contractor who can handle complexity easily.

Excellent Company! I needed the caulking between the pool deck and coping replaced.
The caulking isn’t something you can buy at your local hardware store. So with that said, I emailed Luis at No Problem Pools on a Saturday. He responded early Monday morning. After a few more emails, we agreed on a time for the work to be performed.
The Foreman, Ernesto arrived on time with 2 workers. I had already removed the old caulking, but they went over the area to make sure it was clean to their standards.
They were a great team, worked together and did a phenomenal job. The joint looks better than when the builder installed the pool several years ago.
I am looking forward to working with them again when I need something taken care of.

We starting using Luis about 10 years ago and he has been a huge help to us! Now that he has a larger company, he hires quality staff, but is still available for any concerns.

Had a leaking pool return line (used to power Polaris vacuum). Just based on Unilocal research only I saw that No Problem Pools was worth a try even though they have very few reviews (but all with Excellent ratings), I talked to Luis and that same day, he sent one of his workers (Jaime) who gave me a very reasonable estimate to fix the leaking pipe that I partially uncovered but stopped when I ran into a lot of gunite. So, this pipe outside the pool wall was still buried and exact leak location not yet identified. Jaime and another worker came two days later and located the exact location of the pipe leak/​crack and showed it to me before they started the repair. They were done in two hours.
Pool is functioning normally again. The Polaris vacuum is running strongly and I am not losing any water due to the leak anymore.
I was very pleased with their knowledge, courtesy and work so I will try to use them again in the future.

This review is way loooong over due! We have been using No Problem Pools for the last 3 years and have nothing but great experiences! There prices for weekly pool/​spa service is very reasonable and they never try to sell us on anything. We have had them do our solar as well as replace our pool pump and fix some minor issues and there prices were excellent and the job always gets done fast. I have a large traditional gunnite /​plaster pool (built in 1968) that was losing a tremendous volume of water with large cracks opening up in the plaster. Previous attempts to fix it were bandaids at best.
I was about to the point of deciding to fill it in when Ben (of Ben there pool repair — also highly recommended) suggested I contact Luis Jimenez, indicating that if anyone could save her, he could!
Luis took one look at the photos I had emailed and said that it needs to be fiberglassed, that this was the only way to save it while providing a considerable warranty. After further deliberation and a second opinion and bid, I contracted No Problem Pools to Fiberglass my plaster pool and replace the skimmer as this was also cracked.
As I write this, my beautiful new swimming pool is filling up, the job took about 12 days and the transformation is nothing short of incredible. Every step was completed with skill and gave me high confidence that these guys really knew there business. My skimmer inlet needed rebuilding from a previous remodeling defect and the crew engineered and completed the modification without additional cost. The job site was cleaned up each day and the crew is very pleasant and courteous. If you have an old pool like mine that you want to give a new lease on life, do yourself a favor and contact No Problem Pools.

I’m writing this because I recently experienced something truly exceptional in today’s world. I contracted with No Problem Pools in December of 2011 to refinish and re plumb our existing pool. I got bids from two companies but selected No Problem Pools primarily because I was impressed with the owner, Luis Jimenez. As with all projects of this size, there were problems along the way. However, Luis was exceptionally attentive and responsive. As a result, these problems were quickly resolved and the project wrapped up in mid-​February very close to expectation. My wife and I were very happy with the result and we and our 19 grandkids have made very good use of the pool since then. However, that isn’t the exceptional thing I wanted to tell you about.
When we redid the pool, we added a controller with a chlorinator. The unit came with a three year warranty but the chlorinator stopped working halfway through the second summer after about 18 months. I called the manufacturer’s technical support line and have been in a running battle with them for the last year. Every time I called they would insist that I had a water analysis in hand that had been done by a professional. Then they would pick on one item that was slightly out of balance, and would say the unit wouldn’t work right unless that item was brought into perfect balance. First, there wasn’t enough chlorine in the water, then ph was too high, then ph was too low, then not enough conditioner, then phosphates were too high and on and on. I finally told them that was all complete nonsense and insisted they send someone out to check the chlorinator. At this point, they changed tactics and refused to send someone out unless I could produce the receipt. Of course, I didn’t have the receipt since the unit had been installed by the contractor. I was about to give up but sent one last email with the contract documents showing that I had paid to have the unit installed and when it was installed. Still they refused unless I could produce the receipt. As an afterthought, I had copied Luis on that last email in the off chance that he might still have the receipts. Keep in mind that this was just two months shy of 3 years since I had contracted for the pool work. Luis called me the next day, intervened on my behalf with his supplier, and within a few days they had tested the chlorinator, determined that it wasn’t working, and replaced it with a new one. After nearly three years, I had no expectation that he would respond and wouldn’t have blamed him if he hadn’t but he did and that was truly exceptional. Thank you Luis!

Had them refinish our pool — was original 1970s chipped tile and flaking plaster. Luis, the owner, has always been super honest, quick and responsive throughout the whole project. Which, by the way, was very fast, done perfectly in about 3 days. He helped us pick the right tiles and pump/​heating system. It was a reasonable price and Luis was very helpful with choosing the right level of work for our budget. We use them now for weekly maintenance. Highly recommend.

No Problem Pools was more knowledgeable and honest than any of the other five companies my husband and I met with. They spent many hours after the initial design to construct the exact pool of our dreams. The pool he designed for us was better than we ever dreamed it would be. Thank you for your patience with us, your honesty, your amazing design, and your constant follow up on how things were going with the construction. I have used them for pool cleaning for over a year and they have never missed a day yet and my pool is always sparkling! They are quick to respond to any issue with the pool. Last year I had a problem with the water draining out of my pool, I called the company who built the pool and they recommended a guy. He was horrible. It was hard to get a hold of him and he never even fixed the problem even though he was a professional Jandy tech. This year the problem got worse and I called No Prob Pools and Luis said he would be out within the hour. He came in half the time and fixed the problem in about five minutes. Very nice and knowledgeable guy!

Wowowowo another great job by No Problem Pools, called and left message that the filter was on the fritz on their phone machine…
Next day BAM! All fixed!

I was not please with the communication of this business at all.
Online they offer $ 150 Spa cleaning and refill and $ 100 monthly (weekly) services.
I had to ask 3 different times to the price I saw on the web instead of $ 120/​month.
When they refilled the Hot Tub they added too much water but the water and tub looked nice and clean.
I was still billed the wrong amount, so I called them up again and it’s always an answering machine which can get annoying.
They gave me the promised $ 100 deal but I canceled because I was annoyed with the lack of Professionalism, meaning communication, misrepresenting prices and not even sending any form of contract.
I switched to a different service for only $ 80/​month instead.
They specialize in Pools maybe that was part of the problem, not sure but I don’t agree with the high star rating others gave this company. Sorry.

For a weekly cleaning they do a good job at a reasonable price — but I don’t think the cleaner ever adds anything more than 2 tabs of chlorine. I have to still get the water tested and have never gotten a correct answer as to the orange streaks on the side of my pool.
The cleaner is fast and good, and so quiet the dogs don’t usually even hear him. They also accommodated me on changing my cleaning days

Pool turned colors. Leslies is trying to sell me everything on the shelf after several «this is it» attempts. 2 other pool companies said I had to drain it n start over. I called these guys as they did a fiberglass repair for me before. and in a couple days the pool was beautiful. NO draining… no massive amounts of chemicals… was just my leslies recommended filter was way to small. These guys use their brains unlike everyone else I talked to. They do my weekly maintenance since that and I couldn’t be happier. Very highly recommended. Always shows up on time and answers phone. Use them first n save yourself a headache.

Luis from no Problem Pools is a «Johnny on the Spot» kind of guy. He comes through when needed and gives you a fair price and gives it to you straight. His company and mine have coordinated numerous projects together. Customer service is top notch and because of this my office can recommend him throughout the bay area without hesitation.
