We’ve worked with Michael and his crew for both of my kids’ 1^st birthdays. From start to finish, Michael and Charimel were nothing but professional and a joy to work with. They went out of their ways to capture each special moment, which meant staying longer than scheduled. Even with the editing process, they were very open to our feedback and willing to make changes so that we were 100% happy with the final product. We have #3 on the way now and there’s no doubt that we’ll be using their services again for another 1^st birthday celebration. I highly recommend them, you won’t regret it!

We were very fortunate to have found Michael & his crew. Like any one else who is preparing for their wedding, we had a ton to do and a lot to research. We’ve researched, met and spoke to over 10 videographers though wasn’t able to find one that fits us well. Fortunately, we kept researching and found a few better ones in the Bay Area & decided to go with Michael. Prior to meeting up with Michael, we really like his video style where it feels natural and fresh.
We met him, wrote him a check to reserve our dates & Michael went to our location prior to the event by himself to scout the area. After coordinating the logistics and the video style that we like a few months prior, we were all set. What a relief.
Michael & his team is very responsible and came to our event a little bit earlier to get setup. He knew the exact shots that he’d like to capture and was ready to go. His team was calm and very professional throughout the event.
When he delivered our videos to us, my wife and I loved it. There were so many memories and moments that we didn’t know exist. We highly recommend Micha Videography to take care of your wedding videos, it is definitely worth it.
PS: I was opposed to hiring a videographer prior to the wedding but my wife insisted on it. Glad that she did & glad that Michael was our videographer.

Like many others here, this is also an overdue review. As you might tell from my Unilocal profile, I barely (if at all don’t) review businesses but when I do it’s because I think it’s totally worth it.
Also like many others here, I have nothing but good things to say about Michael and his team, the quality of their work, and their customer service. My wife and I decided at the last minute to hire a videographer. We went through the standard protocol of watching a billion clips from various vendors within our price range but weren’t all that impressed… that is, until we ran into Micha Videography. You KNOW you want a particular videographer when you re-​watch their clips over and over and over so we decided to reach out and the rest was history. Here’s the top 2 things we particular love about them:
1. STYLE! We were lucky enough to buy the 15-​minute feature film and were super impressed with the production value. Specifically, they applied this time shifting cinematic style which meshed different parts of the wedding day together but in an elegant and story-​driven way. In addition to the great music, the style kept our attention the whole time and kept us wondering what’s next (same for the people we showed it to).
2. Customer Service! Nobody wants to deal with whack wedding vendors especially at the tail end before the big day. Luckily, Michael and his team were both easy to work with and very accommodative and flexible to our needs. After our wedding in SF, we flew to Hong Kong for the banquet for my wife’s side of the family that was happening a week later. We were hoping to show the video to them so we asked Michael if it was possible to have it ready by then. Of course, he delivered! He literally had one week to put that masterpiece (in our opinion :) together and he did. We could not express how appreciative we were of that.
So if you’re done reading this tl;dr review, I’d suggest locking your big day in with these guys!

This is an overdue review, I found them from Unilocal & it happen to be that they’re also a friend of my friend so i decided to go with them. Allan did a good job on capturing every element of my daughters birthday, I love it. I also ask them to create a short video (highlights). They’re very accommodating & easy to talk to.

We looked at hundreds of videographers and photographers on Unilocal and we interviewed Michael. We conducted an interview over the phone and he was courteous and I look forward to working with him and his teaming someday. He has combination packages for photos and videos which is exactly what we are looking for. Micha Videography offers flexible packages and a good variety of add-​ons such as Love Story, Save the Dates, Engagement Films, Same Day Edits, Wedding Highlights, etc. I really appreciated his time in getting to know us better. I used Micha for my wedding videographers. They were easy to work with and the day went pretty smoothly with them. They were also accommodating in terms of any specific requests I had. After the wedding, I got the videos in the timeframe as expected. My wife and I are happy with how the video turned out and really liked it. The speeches came out pretty clearly recorded, which is something that can easily go wrong. Overall, I’m very satisfied with Micha and would recommend them for others.

My review for Micha is long overdue! We hired Michael & Charimel as our wedding videographers last summer after reading their reviews on Unilocal.We also signed up for their Black Tent photo booth services (our guests loved it… and it’s one less vendor to deal with).
We met with Michael & Charimel shortly after I had reached out about their availability for my wedding day. They showed us examples of their previous work, and walked us through the various package offerings. They were not pushy and I liked their easy going personalities.
From beginning to end, we were very satisfied with working with Micha and team. They were responsive to my email and phone inquiries, which was very important to me given that I have a full-​time job and didn’t have a ton of time chasing after my wedding vendors. Most importantly, they were very professional day of our wedding and we appreciated the quality of the work produced.
As for the photo booth, they provided great props and good quality prints.
I was most impressed by the following:
— They showed up as a team of 4, dressed professionally and each of them had an ear piece they used for communicating with each other. Some of our guests commented that it felt like we had secret service on-​site =)
— Gave great directions and guided us to get the creative shots they needed.
— I found out later that they had scouted our wedding location ahead of time and brought a crane to get certain shots from high above during our ceremony (our wedding was all outdoors). They hid the crane so well that I didn’t even notice it was there! I loved the shots they were able to capture with it and appreciated their pre-​planning.
— The week following our wedding when we returned from our mini honeymoon, a DVD containing photos from our photo booth was already waiting in my mailbox!
— They were very accommodating with incorporating the edits & ideas I requested for the final cut.

Michael and his team are awesome! It didn’t occurred to me that I should hire a videographer for my wedding until 2 weeks before it. I’m so glad that looked online and found Michael! I emailed him immediately and see if my wedding date was still available and luckily it was. I met up with Michael and he showed me his past work and explained to me so thoroughly what they would be doing on the day. He was also able to accommodate and tailored the package to fit my needs.
On the wedding day, he and his team arrived early enough to take good shots of preparation of not only the wedding party, but also miscellaneous things that add so much to the full video. They also tried to get to the venues (wedding prep, ceremony, and reception are all at different places) ahead of time to learn about the locations and really well prepared for the shooting. They also give directions to us of what we should be doing to make the video look good, tried to entertain us to make us look more natural, which was really helpful as I think most of us freeze when you know someone is taking videos of you.
We are so happy with the final products! Super professional. I thought I would only need a highlight video but no, the full clean edit of the ceremony captured is really nice to keep. I highly recommend MiCha Videography to anyone!

I hired them for my 18^th birthday! Theyre so awesome!!! Totally hiring them on my big 21!!!

I have to knock off 2 stars due to the final product. Michael and his team are very nice and professional and they were willing to make edits after we received our final wedding video, but it just wasn’t up to par. First of all, we were never given an option for a highlight video to purchase on our contract, so it was kind of a hassle to have to deal with after the wedding, when everyone is asking about your video. Secondly, after watching the final video with friends and family there were just so many questions about the video, such as certain events that weren’t in the video or the weird transitions. There were a lot of great scenes in the video, but overall they got overshadowed by the choppy transitions and missing scenes that people were looking forward to. Unfortunately I can’t say that I’ve had the great experience that everyone else is raving about, which makes me sad because we went to them based on those reviews.

In the midst of wedding panning, I was told that a video was a must! So of course I turned to reviews and watched many, MANY wedding video clips. We were captured by the beauty of MiCha videography and were thrilled to find out they were available for our wedding date. We met with Michael once before the wedding and we knew we were in good hands. The day of our wedding I was worried I’d feel smothered by cameras but that was NOT the case at all! Michael and his team were great, they were barely noticed. After speaking with guests later about the video, many of them said they didn’t even notice we had a videographer!
Not only are we blown away by the final product, but everyone who sees our wedding video LOVES it and always comment on how great of a job MiCha Videography did. I am so happy that we chose them to capture our special day!

We have worked with MiCha videography for our past events. They are very professional and very responsive. They seemed calm and relaxed during the events. They were able to capture different moments without being in the way of other professionals. They use professional-​grade equipment as well. They are very organized when setting up their equipment and taking their shots.

MiCha was great! Very professional and easy to get a hold of. Responded to every email and phone call in a timely manner. During the wedding, the videographers were hardly noticeable. They captured every moment without being in the way, or disrupting the photographers. The video they put together was beautiful, and their packages were very reasonably priced. Having to plan a wedding on a budget yet at the same time wanting to go all out was a task that was beyond imaginable. I wanted to make sure that I had everything that I had imagined my wedding to be. And the last thing on our list was hiring a videographer. My husband and I debated and thought about it for months until we decided to look for a videographer. We watched many videos and went through 20 – 30 vendors until we were able to narrow it down to MiCha Videography.
The initial consult with Michael and Charimel was brief. They got right to the point and explained everything we needed to know and answered any questions that we had. Their prices were very reasonable and we booked with them immediately.
A week before the wedding Michael asked if we would be up for a short pre-​wedding filming that took no longer than an hour or two. We met up, filmed and he got it done the same day! It was awesome! We showed it at our wedding before the reception started. It was perfect!
The day of our wedding Michael and Mark arrived on time, explored the premises and looked for ideas they could work with. They both did a fabulous job capturing the best moments that we could look back at to reminisce our big day. Weeks later we received our video highlight which turned out to be extraordinary! We’re excited to see what they have in store for us for the final DVD.
MiCha Videography exceeded my expectations! Without a doubt, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional videographer at a reasonable price.

It was one of my jobs as a groom to find a skilled videographer at a reasonable price within our budget for our wedding (this turned out to be more difficult than I expected). My wife and I had found several videographers in the area that had an outdated style or they were way too expensive or both.
Discouraged and pressured with the wedding fast approaching, it was truly a blessing to find MiCha Videography. Michael + Charimel (MiCha) were both nice and their work was better than many of the samples my wife and I saw from the what seemed like hundreds of wedding videos we watched online. To top it all off their packages were a fraction of the costs of all the other videographers we looked into.
On the day of the wedding, the MiCha team was fast, professional, and easy to work with. My wife and I also asked them to do a same-​day-​edit video for us (which they don’t normally offer) and we were pleasantly surprised on how they captured all the special moments from us getting ready to the wedding ceremony and the introduction of us as a bride and groom. We received many compliments from our guests and my wife and I have probably watched it over a hundred times (no joke). The same-​day-​edit video is a reminder of how awesome our wedding was and how great it was working with MiCha videography. We look forward to getting the highlights video, so the wife and I can watch that a hundred times ha!

We made a last minute decision to hire a videographer and luckily Micha was available and very responsive. We met with his team to discuss our concepts, but he really used the meeting as an opportunity to get a feel of who we are as a couple and what would best capture the essence of our relationship on our special day.
They arrived on time, captured all the key moments without being intrusive or disruptive. They stayed longer than our contract required to ensure they got comments from some of our guests.
Within weeks they had a proof of the video highlights that was great to share with close family and friends. However, the final product delivery solidified their customer service. We asked for a few (and probably unreasonable) tweaks to the video and they were able to re-​edit the video to our request (this is after they received their final payment and personally delivered what they considered to be the final product).
The price was very reasonable, but I am sure that the costs will increase because their product matches the speed, quality, and professionalism of other videographers — at half the cost!

Videography was one of the last things on our list when it came to booking vendors for our wedding. We just didn’t think we had enough in our budget initially. Then, I started thinking about things that we would miss during the wedding ceremony or reception while we were behind the scenes getting ready. As the bride, I would miss seeing the entire bridal party walk down the aisle before me. I wanted to be able to look back and watch. Photos wouldn’t have been enough to relive that. This is what made us really decide on looking for a videographer.
At this point, we only had a few months left until the wedding. Most of the videographers were crazy expensive or booked already. Then, I went on Unilocal and found Micha Videography! I went on their website and fell in love with the highlight videos that were posted on there. I emailed them right away and received a reply that same day from Michael! From there, everything was easy. Luckily, they were still available on our day! He offered very reasonable prices in the packages they had available. We signed with him without even meeting him until the day of our wedding! I know that’s a little risky, but it all worked out well! Michael, Charimel, and Joel were extremely talented. They arrived on time and were super friendly — easy to work with.
About a month after our wedding, we got a very happy surprise! Michael had created a highlight video of our wedding for us which we did not expect. It was so beautiful. I must have watched it at least 50 times myself. I showed it to all of our family and friends. They all loved it as well! Now, we cannot wait until we receive the full video of our wedding day! Hopefully we’ll be able to relive the happiest day of our lives real soon!

After my engagement this summer, I started imagining my wedding of poetry and music. I was especially drawn to the idea of telling our love story through the eternal (and personal) words of Rumi and Tagore.
While budgeting for a wedding, we were trying to decide between photography and videography as both just seemed crazy expensive. I figured that since it was going to be a celebration that called for a split beginning (with a poem of love and longing answered by his beloved (waiting atop the stairs) I knew that she would miss the adorable entry of the flower girl and ring bearer, the first poem, as well as, the first musical selection. While I would miss nearly half of her grand entrance from the outer stairs. So capturing it all on video was winning out in our decision between the two.
I’m so glad that I took a chance on miCha Videography. The price was great — and we actually ended up with a combined package including photography from Escape — so now we have both =)!!
I knew that they were establishing their business and that we were getting a great price, but if you are like me, no matter what I pay I want GREAT! And that is exactly what we got from this 3 person video team. Easy and consistent communication, a clear and fair contract, with wonderful video capturing our day. We just got our highlight video and it was fun to watch and share with family and friends (some of whom could not attend). Very impressed and would easily recommend this team for capturing your wedding.

Before I got engaged I swooned over those beautiful wedding videos that made me teary-​eyed. I had dreams of Save the Date videos and Same Day Edits.
Then once I became engaged and planning my wedding reality set it. Weddings are EXPENSIVE. After budgeting for my venues I realized that I might not be able to afford a videographer. I was crushed. Would I have to sacrifice spending less on the photographer to get the videographer I wanted or vice versa?
I sadly started letting go of my wedding video dreams. Then I randomly came across MiCha Videography. Although they’re just starting out I saw their potential. Their sample wedding videos gave me the same teary-​eyed feeling as all my other fav videographers, and I became even more teary-​eyed with the prices. Is it true? I can afford them?
I contacted them right away, and we’ve been working together ever since. They’re super responsive and very eager to please. I was vocal about certain video styles that I liked and didn’t like and they accommodated me graciously. I had a specific video concept for my Save the Date and they executed it perfectly… plus we had a lot of fun shooting with them. I can’t wait to work with them again on our wedding day. MiCha Videography is an affordable luxury that I was lucky to find.
