I’ve been going to Dr. Masada for over 8years now. I must say, Dr. Masada is be best doctor out there. He takes his time to get to know his patients and explain things very well. He is very patient and thorough. Everyone that works here are always on top of things. They always take me in on time, I’ve never had to wait. P. S… I love Pricilla!!! She’s the absolute best!

Best doctor ever. I almost don’t want to write a review because he’s one of my best kept secrets! Haha… In all seriousness, I am a mother of two, a homebirther, a total crunchy momma. My midwife recommended him. I NEVER eVER thought I would love a western medicine Doctor. Really… but Masada is from another planet. He is humble, genuine and very caring, takes his time to get to know his patients, he speaks directly to my oldest child who even tells him her symptoms beyond sometimes even my knowledge! And he is respectful, never pushy about vaccinations. He will give you his opinion and why when asked. Amazing! Do you know how many doctors I went through to find someone like Masada?! I had almost given up believing in doctors.
Wait time is always minimal. Always find me same day appt on emergency. Staff is effective and caring. His after hours nurse once called us right back when our baby was running a high fever to help us.
Thank you for everything Dr. Masada!!!

I haven’t been into the doctors in a while. My experience here was great. I think Dr Masada is my go to guy from now on.

Dr. Marvin Masada is genuinely the best doctor around. He takes the time to get to know his patients and really explain what’s going on for the patient to understand. He’s very patient and thorough. You won’t feel rushed under his care and that is quality care. If you’re looking for quality care, this is THE man! Thank you Dr. Masada!

Started off with a strong and courteous front office. Was able to get in, even though he is booked solid.
Walked in for my 8AM appoint — minimal paperwork and was brought back to begin my physical around 8:05 — NICE.
The nurses were pleasant and got the prelim job done quick.
Dr. Masada was patient, took the time to go through all the checkpoints and paperwork.
We shared some personal stories and the appointment was not rushed at all. I felt that I got all my answers that I needed.
Easy one stop signature to get all your records from your old PCP.
Lastly but most importantly — ONE SITE BLOOD WORK, no having to go to a Lab Corp office!

This family practice was recommended to me and I have no idea why.
Came in for my son’s 1 month checkup and the waiting room was very dreary looking. the staff at the front desk were very cold and the examination room was very cramped and not at all family friendly.
The doctor did not see any reason to get my son’s tongue tied fixed, and so I had to go see a pediatrician to get a recommendation so that nursing would be faster and less painful. Dr. Tran actually said the only reason you get tongue-​tied fixed is for communication reasons and how would we know that he’d have trouble communicating when he was one month old? The specialist said that if you wait too long it would actually be a painful procedure for the baby! Good thing i followed my gut, and now breastfeeding is a breeze after my son stopped chomping my nipples instead of using his tongue.
They also don’t have the full list of recommended vaccinations for babies and so thankfully my pediatrician gave me the updated list. They also made me carry my baby through their hallways to get weighed because they didn’t have the equipment in the tini examination room. This was obviously the wrong doctors for anyone to bring an infant to.
Two months later we got a bill for $ 377 even though my insurance covers all preventative care and at most we should be charged $ 24 copay if it wasn’t preventative care, which it was. Called their billing services and got a voicemail. Somehow the pediatrician, and Otolaryngologist had no trouble billing my insurance but dr. Tran’s office would rather bill me.

The only reason my family and I are still going to this place is because of Dr Tran. She is loving and caring and remembers us always. She gives excellent advice as well. Other than that this place does not meet my expectations. I am not happy with the front desk. They are very rude. If you dont like your job go find another one. I myself work in the health industry as a front desk receptionist and I have never been as rude as they are. I thought it was only me but when I shared these thoughts with my mom and dad they felt the same way. If they keep this up we’ll be more than happy to go find another doctor although we will definitely miss Dr Tran

Dr Marvin is sweet, genuine honest doctor. He will ask lots of questions to get bottom of the problems. He will never rush you out.

PROS: Hands down, Dr. Masada is one of the best Dr’s I’ve had! He’s brilliant and very kind! He knows his stuff and is very proactive!
CONS: I hate to be the bearer of bad news when it comes to the front desk, however, it has brought me to this one and only conclusion, seek a new Dr after 16 years! Firstly, I almost NEVER EVER call, as they say… if it ain’t broke… the day I called I was SICK and in PAIN! However, to my surprise, the front desk receptionist could not find my folder (Maybe because I am not usually there? Not sure!) KNOWING I’ve been a patient of 16 years, as well, my entire family too; she’d say, «Come in at «such and such time!» NOPE! She told me the Dr could not see me until 2 days! I was like sicker than a dog and needed help ASAP! She just said, NOPE! Can’t see ya! I told her I was going to find another Dr and guess what??? She said, «Okay.» Done! No more! Bye bye! Wow! Now, time to find another Dr. I don’t even think Dr Masada knows he has lost a great patient and a good friend! BTW, doesn’t have Voice Mail so you can leave a msg… nope! The buck stops at that front desk! TOO BAD!

Since my last reviews, the staff at the office is getting much better and more accommodating and I am giving it 4 stars. Dr. Masada is always 5 stars.

Waiting time was the only thing that bugged me. Came 10 mins early for my 12:15 appointment and was not seen until 1. Besides that, he is probably the nicest doctor I have ever met. He’s patient and gentle. Great definition of quality care. His secretaries/​nurses were also professional and kind. Priscilla (secretary/​nurse) was really nice and caring.
Also, I called at 9am this morning and needed an appointment today (as a new patient) … and I got it. So it definitely makes up for the wait time.

Showed up for my 9:15am APPOINTMENT early. After the receptionist was done cutting me off mid-​sentence, I took a seat and waited. About 2 minutes later, a nurse practitioner asked if I had an appointment and with which doctor. I gave her my information and she said I WAS NOT on the calendar. Absolutely blew my mind.
Although, the nurse practitioner was apologetic, it does not excuse their faulty back-​end procedures. It ended up being a HUGE inconvenience for me, not to mention the time I had to take off work (which is extremely difficult). I definitely will not be coming back under any circumstances.

I’m writing this review because of the phone receptionist. I called and was imitatively put on hold. That’s all fine but then she hung up on me without getting back to me. I had to call 3 times just to get her to have a conversation with me.
She then asked me a series of questions and told me Dr. Masada was not taking any new patients. The weird thing is that his name is on my card as my primary doctor. I just never visited. I’m not to familiar with the Insurance and doctor relationship so I can’t review Dr. Masada, but basically this receptionist gave me absolutely no support on getting me scheduled with another doctor. I persisted and asked but she just hung up on me.

Been going to Dr. Masada for a few years now, great doctor! He spends a lot of time with his patients which is very much appreciated. He, himself, is a 5 star doctor.
One star off. maybe 2… for the cost … Disappointed that he went with some new company coverage or billing service, and the prices for appointments have increased. Was billed $ 254.00 for 10 minute appointment (Insurance helped a little). Neither his staff or the billing department could explain why the bill was so high for such a short and simple visit that required no labwork or extra procedures. I asked that in the future, would I be given an estimate for the cost and the answer was no. Basically you can end up paying an arm and a leg and you won’t know it until after the appointment is over.

Best MD in the world! :) I have been going to Dr. Masada since I was a little kid and I am almost 34 now. My whole family sees him. My boyfriend is a new patient this year. Dr. Masada is super patient and really takes time to explain stuff and make sure you understand. The two receptionists are great as well! Two thumbs up for Dr. Masada!

Amazing doctor. I have been hunting to find the perfect doctor for me. I mean I need someone that I can trust. and someone I can be comfortable with talking about my symptoms. My previous doctor that my family have been going to was not someone I was comfortable with, so I decided to find someone else. I came upon Doctor Masada through Unilocal and I’m so appreciative of the reviews that attracted me and convinced me to get an appointment with him.
I called on Monday and got an appointment on Wednesday. I came on wednesday and didn’t have to wait at all. I know there were a lot of comments regarding the staff, but I had no problem with them. Maybe because they were straight forward with me so there were minimal interaction with them to figure more about them. But I feel you should rate Masada base on Masada only and don’t weigh in on the staff. But that’s my personal view.
I came to see him. And let me tell you, the first 5 minutes of talking to him — he was polite, caring, understanding, and he’s a good listener. He listened me to ramble on and on and he was attentive. He didn’t rush me, he didn’t make me hurry up, he actually had a conversation with me where he got to know me more and I got to know him more too.
As for the reason as to why I came there, he did not give me one direct «you should do _​_​_​_​_​_​» and prescribe me a medicine and sent me on my way. He listened to me, talked to me, and gave me options. He let me choose which was best for me and that’s what I appreciate him. He threw some options in the air and let me decide on which one to grab. He was very kind and I am 100% sure that he will be my main doctor from now on. I just wish I knew about him sooner!

I totally agree with almost all the other respondents. Dr. Masada is great but the staff… I mean — where does he get them. At the end of the day — it’s a business and these staff employees are just not up to par. I see this problem frequently with a many front office staff. They do not know how much their performance weighs in to decide whether to continue with the doctor or not. If you go with Dr. Masada your in good hands. With the front office staff — Good Luck!

Dr. Masada is an awesome doctor. Knows his stuff and gets right on point. It’s pretty hard to make an appointment with him, but well worth the wait if you are not in medical dire need of attention.
On the other hand, his staff are not so bright. Plus they are rude. They don’t know much about insurance and they have no phone etiquette. I don’t like how his billing department is 3^rd party, so you have to call them directly.
I recommend him to Unilocal reviewers. Just be nice to his staff and they’ll be nice to you.

The best doctor hands down.
I am with Jen H about being a bit afraid to tell people about him, only for selfish reasons, as in I do not want a huge influx of people filling all the time slots up. Whenever I am there the wait to see him is not bad and when you do see him he makes you feel like he has no where else to be. He seems genuinely interested in what you have to say and offers stories with his advice to really help with the understanding of what is going on with you.
All in all I recommend Dr. Masada without hesitation, but will be really happy if not everyone believes me.

Wow wow wow! I am kind of hesitant to Unilocal Dr. Masada b/​c I don’t want him to get an overflown of new patients for my own selfish reason! The ONLY reason why I rated him a 3 star previously was my physical check-​up appointment took me 1 month! Otherwise, Dr. Masada is five stars all the way.
Man, I am over the doctors my mom recommends me to see. THANK YOU Unilocal community for recommending me Dr. Masada!!! My previous doctors would LITERALLY spend less than 15 minutes with me before hoping over to the next patients. They never seem to care – to them, it was how many patients can I see in a day? Can I beat my record yesterday?
Dr. Masada is very patient and thorough! He spent at least 35 minutes with me. As a new patient, he inquired my health and person history, seeming genuinely interested. I was the first patient of the day (8am), and I LOVE when drs. are punctual!
At another dr. office, i was also the first patient of the day, but HE SHOWED up 20 minutes late. no kidding.
If you’re looking for a new doctor, Dr. Masada is your man! The office is new, so everything is speck and clean! You don’t need to go to another office (ex. Quest) to get vaccine shots or blood withdrawn – all done in Dr. Masada’s office =)!
