I went there for a new key that was suppose to cost me $ 60 and they took apart my car with out my authorization, lost my key and we’re not able to put my car back together properly. I was forced to take it to another shop and now I have $ 5,000 IN DAMAGE that was caused by them!!! This is a horrible shop, if your car is there and they keep asking to keep it longer that is a red flag to get it out of there, because they probably broke something that they weren’t even suppose to touch! Call rescue Ron for a good lock smith!

Went here a week ago and they said the price was $ 70 now when I come back today they changed to $ 130. No thanks for the bullshit business. What a bunch of troll looking bastrds.

I’m still waiting after one hour and a half hopefully they come through they told me an hour bad thing is they close at 10 it’s 10:30 at night, so it’s just up to faith will see??? Am stranded

Not even the time nor the price!
I had called yesterday TWICE to confirm that they can get me a new outter box and reprogram it for my nissan and they said yes both times, 160 cash flat no tax… and in 45 minutes. This was telling them both times what kind of car i had etc, etc… so i showed up today 9am sharp, they opened til 9:20am. I was their 1^st customer. I told them i had called and what I needed. So 1 guy starts working on my car right away and like almost an hour later, i see that another guy gets to the shop and takes over. Then he mentions it would be another hour, and then another hour comes around and a 3^rd guy takes over. This guy then tells me that they couldn’t program the car. I asked him why and he said that my key was already working. I told him ARE U KIDDING ME? I KNOW MY KEY WORKS, I NEED A NEW ONE, A WHOLE NEW REMOTE! He was like OOOOHH… so eventually I finally got another remote programmed and all and they were asking for the same money. i told them straight up that their service was VERY DISAPPOINTING and the ridiculous price for all my time wasted and it was their fault not knowing what the hell they were doing. REALLY!!! AND I HAD MY 2 MONTH BABY WITH ME… these people are not at all worth ANY of your time!!!
I should have gone to the dealer for the same price and less time and a professional service and WARRANTY!

Horrible guys. Please dont ever go here. I called them up and they say price for programming 2 car keys is $ 80. I said ok let me come to your shop to talk. I go there and ask price again they say 80. I say give me some discount. They agree to $ 65. Once programming is done they say you called the boss and he said $ 80 so you have to pay $ 80. This is the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard. The so called boss now shows up and says in a threatening voice that i have to pay $ 80.
Got out by paying $ 80 since i didnt want to argue with morons who are 2 faced and try to cheat customers. Worst business sense and ridiculously low respect for their own word.
Avoid this place at all costs.

BAD SERVICE. Came in to get my Lexus car key replace. Have me no respect. Girl talked to me like I’m trash. Then we got our key fixed. Went home and test the key, it wouldn’t turn. Came back to the shop around 7ish and told them. They fixed it again and ask if we could get the car to the shop. We couldn’t because the engine would start so we ask the guy to come to our house. Wait until 10pm when the guy said he will be there soon. The guy that came to help our car to go to the shop was friendly. (That was the ONLY good part in the service) Brought the car back to the shop and the owner fixed the key a little bit more and got the car to work. Then my mother says to give him tip. The owner comes out wanting to charge us an EXTRA $ 40 for coming to our house which was seriously 5 mins away. He shouldve told us for that there will extra charge but he didn’t. My mom was so mad because it isn’t our fault that the new key would get the car to start. The owner’s reason was gas money. He knows he’s wrong so he kept going to the back so he wouldn’t have to discuss the problem. He took a picture of our license plate saying we will go to court. Honestly my mom and I were gonna go to court with them but we thought about the guy that came to our house who was very friendly. He even said sorry about his owner but e cannot make the decision. The owner even admits that he should’ve told us before charging extra. Overall, DO NOT come to this place unless you want drama and get your money ripped off!!!

Had my keys made today cause i lost them. Got great service. He quoted me $ 80 for replacement keys for my 88 Honda and said he would be at my house in 40 min. Came exactly in 40 min. He was able to make a key for ignition but i had to go in for the door. So i went to the shop and he redid the key to fit the door n ignition. He gave me two copies. It doesn’t open trunk but no big deal. I would definitely go again n i recommend anyone to go there. Great place. B-)

The dealership wanted $ 150 to program a key for our car but Edgar did it for ¹⁄₃ of the price. The dealership said it would take 2 hours. Edgar did it in five minutes.
I will never go anywhere but to Lucero’s locksmith for all my key needs from now on.
(I called the guy in El Sobrante and he wanted $$$ to do the same work and I would have to drive 120 miles there and back so he was a no go for me! besides… he does it as a hobby on the weekends)
DO NOT HESITATE TO GET ANY WORK DONE HERE! THEY ARE AWESOME!

BAD SERVICE. if youre non hispanic, they will throw you prices if you don’t know spanish and later talk to you english giving you quote. haha
a guy in craiglist in el sobrante he does it for 100 $. cut, program included with lexus key. save you some money. in bay area ads. just for people who lost their lexus keys and spare keys. anyone wanna save money then getting ripped off from these people

Worst s##### in the world.
Bad service. they steal the staff on your car and when they charge you too, they do not know what they do .they promess you to fix your car, do this and that plus they make you wait weeks to get your back and they do noticed even fix it

I went here to have my car key/​transmitter programmed. I was hesitated at first looking at the Unilocal reviews. But since I didn’t have many options, I decided to give it a try. Before coming here, I brought the key to the dealership, and they couldn’t program it because the transmitter was used and previously programmed for other car (they wanted to charge me but I asked them to waive it). I called several other places, some wanted to charge me $ 150, others didn’t have the software to program it. I called this place. The guy that picked up the phone sounded confident and he said $ 80 (wow! half price compared to other places). He worked on my car right away when I got there and it took about 45 minutes. Surprisingly, this place beat the dealership and others’ prices, so I had to give them a 5 stars. Should have come here earlier and saved me time from running around and to the dealership.

Do not come to this place. i took my cylinder key here to rebuilt and ask them first before service to change all the tumbler inside new. after the service they took out all my tumbler inside. they rip off my money and not do the job right. BAR should come and inspect. do not come to this place.

Worst customer service ever. I took my car there to fix my alarm on the door lock. They said it would be done in 2 – 3 hours. First day I waited 5 hrs. It wasn’t done, so I went there the next day and waited another 7 hrs, again after they told me it would be done in, of coarse, 2 hrs. They couldn’t fix my car door alarm lock system, so at this point, I was a little disappointed and asked for my deposit back. Cool no problem, however, when they tried to put my door back, they couldn’t. In fact, they made it worst. Now I cant even lock my door and my alarm won’t work, plus a couple of parts were missing. One of the technicians told me to come back the next day and he’ll fix it. Well, surprising he didn’t show up. Who tells their customer to come in on a particular day and doesn’t show up? At this point, I got very mad. I asked for the owner and they wouldn’t let me talk to him. In fact, they lied and said he doesn’t want anybody to call him. The person in charge was also not helpful because he told me to come in 2 days later, but also didn’t show up. When the store called him, he hung up on me. I came in another 3 days trying to get my car door and alarm put back the way I bought it in. I continued to get bad service and even cussed out by one of the workers. Overall, I went there 6 times, spent prob 20 hours, got cussed out, treated rude and my car door came out worst. Not once did I get an apology or a sorry. I end up going to another place who got done in 1 hour, was cheaper and way better service. Bottomline, if u want a reliable and good service, go someone else. I never had an experience like this in my life. I will report them to the better business bureau for damaging my car door more and not acknowledging it. I did have to pay more for that problem they caused.

call this place to make an appointment to reprogram the key of my truck and they said will be there at 5:30 pm and did not come, call them again and was told that in 20 minutes and did not come, call them again and another 20 minutes while i called hernandez locksmith and they said the same thing in 30 minutes but hernandez locksmith arrived within 20 minutes and luceros locksmith never came they even bothered to see if the service still needed
