La Belle Vous Salon & Wellness Spa

This salon is AMAZING and I always recommend to my girlfriends. My hair stylist is Tabitha and I always look forward to getting an amazing cut and blow dry from her. I will admit this place charges more than I have ever paid for a cut BUT I have never received better service at a hair salon or a better cut than at La Belle Vous Salon. Everyone is super friendly and the ambiance is just so great! I live in SF and drive all the way down to San Jose because I only trust Tabitha to touch my hair.

This was my first time here. I had forgotten to schedule with my regular stylist (out of the area) so I called expecting to schedule an appointment for at least a week out; there was a cancellation that afternoon so I drove right over. Nancy greeted me and told me she would be providing my services. I told her my cut just needed shaping, that it was 6 weeks old. She listened, looked at my cut, felt my hair, asked a few questions and then told me how she would approach the shaping. It all sounded familiar so I agreed.
Nancy did the relaxing treatment massage while we chatted about life. She did an amazing shoulder and neck and scalp massage! She then washed my hair and applied the zero gloss to my hair. Instead of having me sit in a chair to process for the short time, she massaged my scalp and distributed the gloss through my hair. May I say, heaven?!
Nancy’s cut was superb! She didn’t make any changes and the shape is back to the original asymmetrical cut that I had 6 weeks ago. She used the wonderful Aveda products and blew dry my hair with volume as I asked. I was and am so pleased!

I was so scared for a new change with my hair I have gone to several salons and have had bad luck I gotta say in this salon I felt relaxed my nerves went away and I came out looking amazing thanks to Karen who was my stylist not only she did what I asked but she gave me her points of profession which I admired and took as well rather than like other stylist who do what they want price is very reasonable and worth paying def look forward in coming back

Reading the prices makes me mad I payed about 200 dollars because they had to use several dyes so was there excuse this was about 6 months ago. My hair was medium short length back then wich feels very over priced. The hair color washed out within 3 months. Hate getting taken advantage off just cause I’m young. Btw the free make up makeover was awfully wrong and pathetic. I’m so angry for the over priced total for such short lasting results.

Great place for men’s haircuts. I am not quite ready to show my gray hair yet so i get it blended which looks much more natural than a full dye job.
The stylists are always warm and friendly.

So glad for this place. Me and my brother were rushing finding to get a saloon or barbershop open and we saw someone that was getting there haircut and we walked in and we asked if they were still able to squeeze our haircuts in and they said yes even though they didn’t have the open sign on. VERY Very thankful ! Great haircut place too. Great cut would recommend this place

Yesterday I came in with the task that every woman wants when summer gets closer & that was to go lighter. Karen did an amazing job with my highlights was very patient & thorough with my foils. Not only did I get highlights but she gave me a fantastic cut & treatment and I’m so excited to show off my new hairdo! She has such a cute bubbly personality she kept apologizing for having me in the chair so long but I felt bad that I had so much hair to tackle. Did I mention she took me last minute because of a cancelation & stayed past the salon hours to finish. Overall the most fabulous job I can even imagine & not only will I be back I will definitely be referring all my friends! Thanks for being so passionate about what you do & going above & beyond!

Lito Gonzales has been cutting my daughter’s hair (and my hair) for the past couple years. He is very artistic and experienced (over 30 years) and should be charging much more for his creations. We tried to get him today, but they said he wasn’t working there anymore, so we went somewhere else and my daughter was devastated by her haircut. So I did some research to track him down. I know he lives in San Jose and on leave of absence from Fantastic Sams where he used to work 1 day per week. Lito, if you read this review, please call me at 408 390 8376! I will give 2 stars because the highlights I got were great. Reason for 2 stars? The owner overcharged me. I walked in and asked the owner how much the highlights are. She said $ 75.00. I ended up paying $ 100 total because I was charged for «materials.» Whatever the charge was, it was not quoted at the outset. I didn’t want to make a scene, so I paid the $ 100.00, but the business practice is duly noted. I will not. Be coming back.

This place SUCKS! Terrible customer service. When we walked in (mom, sister and I) we weren’t greeted by anybody not even the fake blonde sweeping.
When she finally put down the broom she flew in on she just looked at us and finally said «do you need some help?». No we’re just standing here for the hell of it.
We asked for a cut and she said it would be an hour wait. I guess their «walk-​ins welcome» sign is just for looks.
Needless to say we didn’t wait nor would we have wanted to, if their customer service was that terrible we weren’t about to see what their work was like.

Cindy always does a good job cutting and styling my hair. She makes sure I’m able to style it at home too by taking the time to explain to me what to do.
Every session comes with a nice aromatherapy massage which makes it even more enjoyable, not to mention the skull massage when they do the shampoo.
Tabhita is also really good, she took care of my daughter and she couldn’t be happier. She is also the esthetician and always did a good job for me.
Only «complain» would be towards one of the hair dresser who is older style and always speaks very very loud so when she is here, I am not as relaxed as I would like to be.
I have recommended that salon to my friends and will keep doing it.

I was a client of this salon for about a year and a half or more. My stylist was out for quite a few months after having her baby. She was fantastic and I never had any issues getting in to see her. I was also always happy with her work. While she was out I had to make appointments with other stylists. The first time around I made an appointment and was on my way to it. I was just down the road from the salon when I got a call from the receptionist saying they «accidentally» booked my appointment on a day and time that that stylist was not in. I drove almost all the way down there just to have to turn around and go home. I rebooked and when I went in a few days later had a stylist who kept disappearing or wandering off. At one point her and a few other stylists wanted to get a picture (it was Halloween) and asked me to move (out of my chair with sopping wet hair!) so they could take a picture! All they had to do was turn around and take it from another angle. I literally had to get up and walk to a doorway so they could goof around rather than serve their customers. I decided to go back one last time a few months later for another haircut. This time I waited almost an HOUR (and yes I had an appointment) to be taken. I was there for 45 mins before the owner even acknowledged me and the fact that I had been waiting for so long. When I booked the appointment the receptionist purposely gave an extra 30 mins between clients so I wouldn’t have to wait. The stylist didn’t apologize nor did the owner for the insanely long wait, I was not offered any kind of discount, and the stylist was unfriendly and rude. I have NEVER gone back to this salon again. If you’re looking for a salon I highly recommend finding one that is professional and reliable. Good luck in your search!

I tried this salon after reading the great reviews they had. My experience was terrible. Long story but please read. I made appointments for hair color and a manicure. My hair appointment was with Sandy. We discussed my hair color, I told her my hair had natural red that showed up more in the summer when I am out in the sun. So I have to be careful or certain colors really turns my hair a brassy red. I wanted highlights and lowlights to help cover some grey hair. We discussed and decided on two colors, one being sort of a beige and the other a somewhat a medium brown. Long story short 3 ½ hours later, (yes it took that long) my hair looked ok, but once I got home I looked in the mirror at the back and under the top layer was a big ORANGE spot, they goodness it was under the layers and does not show. So after seeing this I took my mirror outside and my hair had orange and beige highlights and lowlights, it did not look anything like the colors she showed me.
Now the manicure was a disaster as well. But I will say my nails were terrible to start with. I had a manicure done at another nail salon and they put the acrylic part on way too thick. I told her I wanted to get that all off and go back to my natural nails. She tried soaking my nail tips in pure acetone, so much it turned my fingers white. When they still did not come off she asked another girl to help. So one soaked my tips more and the other girl proceeded to use cuticle clippers and tried to cut the stuff off. It was terrible I told them if they would not come off let’s just forget it for now, I was tired and they were really starting to hurt me. They also used a cuticle tool that is usually used to gently push back the cuticle, but instead they used it like a shovel on my nail beds! Again another long story, I left with my nail beds so sore and looking 100 percent worse, my nails beds were so uneven etc. Now a few days later I think two of my nails have a infection of some sorts starting under the nail bed.
To top all that the prices were very expensive. I have never had my color done and still charged $ 65.00 for a trim! The little shoulder massage was not worth the high prices.

I take my 7 year old boy there, we have had two different stylists and both are great.
They use chocolate shampoo and the wash and cut is only $ 17! Also, the esthenetician gave my teen-​age daughter and myself a free makeover while we waited.

Ive won a full makeover here before where the cut, colored and styled and even did my makeup.

yr old sons hair at the time, he loved it as she massaged his head with cholcolate shampoo and entertained him as she went along. I would def recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The staff is great helpful and it feels good to know when I walk out I will be a satisfied customer.

I love this place! I have been to so many salons in my day and I have to say this one offers the best service and attention to detail.
Cindy is my stylist and this woman was born to do hair. I have also had spa services and they have been wonderful as well. I would urge anyone to go here. Very clean, classy and sooooo relaxing!

A very welcoming and warm environment to be in. I have very unmanageable curly hair and was searching for a stylist that could help me in managing it and keeping a stylish look. I found this place and have been going for a couple of months now.
My first experience was great. I was welcomed by someone not too long after I entered and offered water while I waited for my stylist to be available. The layout of store was very nice and upscale which definitely differentiates themselves from an ordinary haircut parlor.
My stylist is Cindy, she’s very nice, friendly, easy going, and definitely willing to listen to my needs before she does anything. The rest of the staff seems very friendly and polite. Cindy offers great advice and suggestions for me while educating me on my hair and methods of caring for it. I think I’ve learned more than I would ever learn about my hair than I ever will in that time I was with Cindy.

I’ve been here on several ocassions. Cindy has done my hair every time. I went dramatically short-​haired a while ago and she gave me an amazingly manageable bob. She’s very modern and always gives you tips on what will look better on you. And when you’re done, you can check out and purchase all the products to perk up your style right behind the hair stations. There’s a complete section of big sexy hair products! I love it. It’s super chic, clean and friendly!
Ohhhh… They also offer great hair treatments.

Screwed up my hair. Big time. Not recommended for customer service. They flat out refused to give me a refund for this color fiasco. I talked to the owner and my stylist and both would not give me my money. I was very disappointed it and it turned out to be an expensive mistake for me. I did not get a refund and had to get my hair re-​done somewhere else. It took 2 trips to fix this and for $ 80 + tip to get my hair messed up– and then more cash to fix it, makes me really angry.

I showed my hair to my family and they literally gasped. It was orange on top for a solid 3 inches around! I could barely hide this crappy color with a ponytail!
