So much fun! Over 40 craft brews(many of them seasonal) were poured at the San Jose Woman’s Club last Saturday evening… where were you? Highlights of the night included: + Dogfish Head«Punkin’» Ale + «Tastings» were quite generous. As you checked in and received your tasting glass(aka goblet), guests were given a ticket for a full pour… totally not necessary! + Loved the retro fantastic music by local San Jose bands! + Grilled Cheese Bandits was in the back parking lot + The overall energy was nothing but holiday fun and merriment… just the right amount of people. Worth the hour-long Caltrain trip each way, for sure.

I had such a blast, and was so happy that I was able to attend. I keep saying that I’m «not a beer person» but then I go to these events where craft breweries showcase themselves and I find a new appreciation for beer. I tried a large variety of different brews, and most of the ones that I enjoyed were stouts, but my favorite was the Delirium Christmas brew called Noël. Om nom nom. Holiday beer-y goodness. At first I was a little disappointed by the food selections, but when I stumbled outside I found Grilled Cheese Bandits, a food truck, parked outside and my mood was instantly elated. It was like they heard my thoughts and prayers and magically parked themselves outside. Cheesy angels. I also really enjoyed the band that was playing. They were super upbeat and they played a wide variety of songs so that everyone could enjoy. All in all, this event was amazing. I hope to get to go to another event like this soon!
