This law office worked with my father in a car accident case last year. The case was finalized and he recieved payment from the other party. A year later, we hear from Medicare requesting a reimbursement for claims on health insurance because they saw there was a liability payment on record from a case. The claims had nothing to do with the accident so we sought assistance with this law firm on whether they can help or if they can at the very least provide documents so that I can prove the health claim was unrelated to the accident. Both times they were very friendly and offered their assistance. However, we never heard back from them and a month later recieved another notice from Medicare stating that the payment was never made and there was now interest accruing on our account and that they would begin garnishing my father’s wages if we waited any longer. If you had no intent on helping in this matter, why would you say you’d help and take care of it when there was absolutely no intention to? Doesnt seem they care about their clients at all after they receive their money and the case is closed.
