We were stopped before entering because we had Starbucks coffee and was told we couldn’t go in with our drinks. This is our 4^th week attending and but today was the 1^st time we were stopped, I found that really rude.

It’s always a great atmosphere coming here. Right now our church is raising funds to renovate the house of God and going really well. It’s a big church and I hardly know every member but when you’re inside, everyone makes you feel we’re all one family. Makes me feel good every time we’re here.

Been trying this place for the last 3 weeks. Each Sunday message has been about giving «tith». How we need to give our money to the church and that has been the ONLY message for the past 3 weeks!!! I brought my son here for church and community, not for an hour lecture on how the main thing you want is our money. Tacky.
Also I’ll leave you with a leading quote from this morning’s service. «If you saw someone stealing offering isn’t that bad? Well not giving is the exact thing»
Wow…

Used to go to this church a long time ago at the children’s church and youth group. All I remember was having a good time at church until my parent’s decided to switch to a different one. Decided to visit again because of all the fond memories I had but its been a couple of years since I’ve gone back. Decided to attend one of the morning services today in the main building that were for the adults. The first thing I noticed while driving through the parking lot was that there was hardly anyone there despite the service starting within 10 minutes. More people seemed to arrive during or after praise and worship. I was greeted at the door but wasn’t given a pamphlet to the church which was odd. When I went through the doorways to the main sanctuary I thought it was funny that they lady greeting me was talking to another person and extends her hand out while still talking to them.
The praise and worship was iffy in the beginning and got better over time and as well as the preaching. I think something about the atmosphere in the church needs work. There was a lead singer there that looked like she was from a Rock Band video game which was cool but I wondered if she was a better fit for the youth because the other singers were dressed so differently. It just looked awkward that the singers were standing so far away from each other like they were playing a performance by themselves. The people in the service there didn’t seem happy to be there at all and the things they did participate in seemed forced. The one thing that bugged me the most was that I felt pressured to sign up for classes constantly and that was all there was in the announcements which gave me the notion that maybe not a lot of people signed up. I mean I’ve been to church services that would hint that they needed help but it didn’t come off as desperate or go about guilt tripping you as this church had.
The guy who delivered the message had a very sarcastic tone so I didn’t know if he was serious or not but he improved towards the end. I honestly don’t know why he was gloating about his fishing trip in the middle of the message for so long that it appeared to have been gloating about it rather than showing it as an example in his message. He also gave too much of his personal opinion at times that I feel created divide of the church V.S. himself. I also don’t know why he was complaining about «Suffering for Jesus» by doing a conference in hot weather. What took me by surprise was overly sympathetic «Aw» that everyone did in unison. I thought that was strange because usually people do that maybe for a child. Besides these things he had a good message though.
People in the church still seemed to appear «dead» even after service.
Something about this church isn’t quite right anymore and feels like a former shell from what I remember when I attended the big services years ago. Its main focus came off like all they want from you is free labor and money. The staff I came into contact with were not really friendly at all.
I’m more interested at this point to check out the young adults ministry if they still have it. Later today I tried their number a couple of times to find out more information about it but no luck in them picking up the phone…
Now I can see why my parents had us leave.

Every church has its flaws… its true sheep and rival goats, EVERY CHURCH that exists is imperfect!
Pastors are human like you and me…(unless you know of all of the circumstances involved… those that are publicized and those that are not. keep your mouth shut!) people are not perfect… just take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and don’t turn away when you finally open your eyes wide to see your own glaring imperfections. We all have them.
Pray about which church to attend… If The HOLY SPIRIT leads you to a church… since HE is The ONLY One that truly should… HE will only lead you to a church that represents The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit… and when HE does… then be obedient and go faithfully, fully support it and serve, and when you are not there… spend time daily with God by praying, by reading and knowing HIS WORD, and by following HIS directions for your life. Let the world see you be the example of Christ to others at all times… whether you are in a building or out of one… you be the church… you are to be HIS Vessel, HIS BODY… you exemplify HIS Excellence to others.
Judge not and you will not be judged… be careful whenever you criticize pastors, churches and people of God… you…like each of us… will have only God to answer to when our time is up…(no I’m sorry God… I didn’t mean it, I didn’t realize excuses or comments allowed then)…He’ll just address what each of us sowed with our mouth, with our time and with our actions… good or bad… and sometimes HE doesn’t wait to discipline and reward us… good or bad… many times we experience HIS Hand now while we are here on earth.
So stop gossiping, stop spreading rumors about people of God and other churches and spend your time getting on your knees instead and pray for all of the churches in this world and in this Bay Area who profess The Word of God… so that all people… ALL PEOPLE… can experience a true encounter with HIM and come to know HIM by working out their own salvation.
Time is short people!

I visited Jubilee with a friend years ago when the new building was just completed During the service they took 5 different offerings. The last offering the «pastor» and I use that term loosely stood up on stage and demanded that every person stand up and take out their check book and waive it in the air. Then proceeded to tell the congregation that «if they did not give they would go to HELL» all this while they had a dollar count down ticker behind the pulpit to count down how much money they owed on the building that needed to be paid off. Not to mention the head pastor wearing a $ 5K suit, $ 20K rolex and driving $ 100K Mercede. Not one time while I was there did I hear any teaching from the bible it was all just a big fund raiser. Needless to say I have never returned.

Just a few facts to ponder when considering if you want to attend Jubilee:
* Jubilee owns real estate assessed about $ 38,000,000 (as of 2015)
* Jubilee is paying interest on at least $ 10,000,000 in mortgages (as of 2015)
* Dick Bernal lives in the prestigious Silver Creek area of San Jose in a 5000+sf home valued at about $ 2.4M (as of 2015)
* Jubilee owns another home nearby valued at about $ 1.8M… perhaps Dick’s son, Adam Bernal, lives there as the northern peninsula campus of Jubilee (which has been led by Adam) shut down (as of 2015)
* In April 2013 Steve Hage (Dick’s «longest disciple») spent his entire sermon making an emotional (but non-​biblical) appeal for donations to pay Dick Bernal’s back income taxes of $ 53,000
If you think the above is what Jesus and his apostles taught because you subscribe to the «prosperity gospel», it isn’t. Please know I’m not faulting you subscribing to a «prosperity gospel», I also did at one time. For many years, since the 1990’s, I not only tithed but sowed my above-​and-​beyond offerings into Jubilee and its guest speakers. I was a faithful Jubilee member from the early days in the 1990’s when services were in a humble, rented office building across the street. Tim Storey was the lead evangelist on a multi-​month revival where I and numerous others attended Jubilee Christian Center and worshiped two or three evenings a week, and then also Sunday mornings. Jubilee in the 1990’s was an «on fire» and humbling time in the power of God which manifested the authentic, alive church of Jesus within those church walls. I am indebted to Jubilee for giving me those tremendous experiences in the Lord.
But Jubilee has changed dramatically since the 1990’s and it’s not the same Jubilee.
I kept going many years until my conscience and spirit made me realize the original, authentic Jubilee was no more. I also attended the April 14, 2013 service where Steve Hage (introduced by Dick as his «longest disciple») spent his entire sermon angling for donations to pay Dick Bernal’s back income taxes of $ 53,000. It was the second year I heard someone may a plea to donate to pay for Dick Bernal’s taxes. Read the Unilocal review by Lisa R from Antioch, CA. As happened with her, that was also my last day ever at Jubilee.
If you want to sow your seeds into charities that truly help the poor and advance the gospel, and you think it’s maybe not the most effective and biblical use of your hard earned money to buy expensive real estate and homes for Jubilee (with the big mortgages) and pay for the high salary and income taxes of Dick Bernal, I encourage you to find a different church. Yes, I miss the fantastic worship at Jubilee. But it’s more important I be aligned with a church that doesn’t fleece the flock to fatten its own wallets with very expensive real estate and luxury-​living salaries. If you are curious to read about the practices of the first century church, you might read Viola and Barna’s «Pagan Christianity.» The beliefs, values and practices of the first century church are vastly different from those of Jubilee today.
P. S. After writing the above, I remembered one more issue I have with Jubilee’s practices. They often resort to manipulative tactics of peer pressure to get people to give. They might ask that you raise your check in the air (if you don’t have a check, you can feel embarrassed with your hands in your lap while your neighbors are waving their checks in the air). More egregious yet, they will ask that everyone come down the aisles and deposit their donations on the steps of the stage. If you don’t want to give, there is a subtle shaming of you while you are obviously one of the few not coming forward to give. The Apostle Paul instructed, in 1 Corinthians 16:2 (NKJV), «On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come,» and, in 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV), «So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.» Manipulative tactics to pressure people to give are NOT how the Apostle Paul instructed. But, then again, if Jubilee is paying interest on at least $ 10,000,000 in mortgages (based on a public records search) and hefty pastoral salaries, you need to manipulate and strong arm people to give. The first century church voluntarily laid something aside before their gatherings in homes (the first century church didn’t own expensive buildings) so that those in need could be taken care of.

Been to this church couple of times for different events with family! It’s a beautiful place to be. They keep their religion straight!

I’ve been to a lot of Christian churches in the past but when I came here, I knew I was home. They have services on multiple nights so even if you work Sunday, there’s a service you can attend. They don’t just say «come to our church.» They look to teach from the Bible and recommend you attend a church. If this one, awesome. If another, awesome.
I’ve been going since 2006 and I don’t intend to go anywhere else. Come and see for yourself why this is one of the largest churches in the bay area.

I am rating this site as a place to host for wedding ceremonies for my wedding in May 2014. The place is beautiful with nice pillars and what-​not. In terms of service, make sure you have your own day-​of-​coordinator because the person who does the coordinating was okay. She didn’t read or understood my instructions for my unique wedding so communicated wrong things to our other people for a traditional wedding at our preparation time and also the wedding day. Good thing I read and heard that the on-​site coordinators typically have personal interest for the facility versus what you want so it’s important to have someone on your side that’s coordinating the whole thing. So I told my day-​of-​coordinators to go ahead and do whatever it is that we had planned or the last-​minute-​step-​in people that she believed were great replacements for her would have made the wedding so out of sync. They would have made our wedding completely late. They kept communicating wrong things to the bridal party and because I had another day-​of-​coordinator with me in the bridal room, I was able to tell her to not listen to them and do as we planned.
Don’t waste your money hiring their videographer either because I never got the video that I paid for either. I called and emailed and kept trying to get in touch to remind the on-​site coordinator to send me the items, which all were sent except the video. The lady just gave me the audio recording, which I appreciated. She did also put out the table, communion, and had the lights like I also wanted.
We paid extra to have the curtains opened, which I didn’t mind. They also provided audio equipments, piano, their own table to have the communion, and what-​not for the site, which was great. The audio engineer was also helpful in making sure we sound good. The on-​site-​coordinator also had a few helpers with her that helped our helpers to put on the side aisle and small decorations for like an hour or two. For the pricing, it is a great place. In terms of service, I just wanted to receive the video recording like I paid for and also the last-​minute change of the site-​coordinators were not helpful at all. They were dead-​weights but good-​hearted Christians. The officiant was also good.
My wedding wasn’t a disaster but in consideration of the great price, the beautiful place that you get, the huge parking lot, audio/​sound/​instruments equipments, it’s fair to not expect a huge lot for it. So it’s a reasonable 3 star.

My favorite church. I’ve been going to jubilee now for 6 years, everytime I leave I feel amazing, uplifted and living in spiritual bliss. Pastor dick and all guest pastors they have really give amazing messages every week. I just started bringing my boyfriend and he loves it too.

The worst example of Christianity I have ever experienced. The bible tells us to be loving and giving to your fellow man. «In as much as you do unto the least of these (your fellow man) you do unto me» said Christ.
When I first started going to this church I had no job, barely enough money to pay my rent and buy food. Most of my food came from a Chinese church. Nobody at the church told me about the food pantry. Then I ran out of money and couldn’t pay my rent. I went to the church for help. I was told that they didn’t have a record of my tithing. I couldn’t afford to tithe, I could barely afford to eat! I explained that to them. They said no. They said that I had to have paid into the church in order to receive help from them. So, just so we’re straight, you have to be a card carrying paid member of the church in order to be helped by the church. So much for Jesus’ word about doing unto the least if these.
I spoke to the pastor and he said that that was the rule. Wait, what? «Rule»? I don’t remember seeing that in the bible. So it seems this church doesn’t follow Gods word but rather makes their own rules about when and how they’re going to be charitable to their fellow man. They have a food pantry, great, a thanksgiving food giveaway, fine and great PR and a Christmas toy giveaway, also good and good PR. But what about the rest of the year and the more pressing needs, like help paying rent, bills, training for jobs, things that will make or break a person? I ended up being homeless for a year, I went to the food pantry for food, told them I was homeless but not a single person came forward with assistance to find a good job or emergency housing assistance or anything.
I had to pull myself up with temp work, I searched and searched for low income housing and I finally got a cheap apartment. I’m now looking for permanent work making more money so I can rent a better apartment. But make no mistake, I’m doing it all by myself. I wouldn’t expect anyone at this church to help me.
It’s my sincerest desire to be able to make enough money so I can contribute to an organization that helps people like me get back on their feet. An organization like that deserves to be supported not this money grubbing church.

My husband and I had been searching for a «home» church for awhile but were having trouble finding one that «felt right». When I found Jubilee on Unilocal (thanks Unilocal), there were a lot of positive reviews and I wanted to visit an upbeat charismatic church but I was also a bit unsure due to the negative reviews that made it sound like the Pastor was always gold digging or name dropping, and it put people off. So I did the smart thing and I contacted some of the Unilocal users who left negative reviews and asked them about their experience because I wanted to know more before choosing whether or not to go. Allen L. was the most helpful and after speaking to him, I decided to give it a shot. It was the best decision ever. After the first visit to Jubilee, we felt «home». My husband I were asking each other, «How did you like it? It was good right? You want to go back?» Even my 12 year old walked out of the children’s church for the first time and said, «That was fun. I liked that. Can we come back again next Sunday?» That was exactly the point. We were totally on the same page and I believe God called us to that specific church for a purpose. You can’t force or fake feeling good or feeling comfortable at a church for the first time but Jubilee gave us that welcoming feeling without pressure. We didn’t even talk to anyone or know a single person there but the presence just felt «right». Ever since we started attending, our spirit has been blessed and filled tremendously. Our lives have changed. There has been such a revealing and outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our lives with such a great anointing and I look forward to see the great things God will continue to do with our family.
If you’re looking for the presence of God, or a church that you can attend with no pressure, or a church that offers so many ministries and different ways to get involved and serve the Lord, or a church that is fun for kids and makes it easy for them to learn about God, Jubilee offers all these things and so much more. I would definitely recommend it.
P. s. They’ve done many different activities throughout the year which make it fun, like a Men’s night, women’s night, hanging out at the beach day, etc. And they always serve food after service so you never go hungry, you Unilocalers.

Beautiful church, I’ve been here since I was a baby until my mid-​teen years. Recently I came to the candlelight ceremony and it was really nice. Great message, beautiful to see all the candles lit with people and the music. There are alot of nice people who come to church here. The main pastor Mr. Dick Bernal is a very relatable, cool, laid-​back, entertaining and sometimes funny preacher. He makes coming to listen to the Lords word pleasant. Gives us more perspectives on things in life and the scripture. Good place to fill up your, «God tank,» so-​to-​speak. A good place to listen to pleasant cheerful music, be in good company, be reminded to do the right thing, think the best of people, appreciate people and life, and it’s free, you all are welcome to come here. There are many service days, and times just check their website.

THis is the place to go to if you want that spectacularness I guess. One time the pastor arrived on stage on a motorcycle ha. I don’t live close by so I don’t come here often but this place is definitely huge built and tons of people. It kinda looks like a mall from a distance. I liked seeing Smokey Robinson here. Mc Hammer was speaking here. That was pretty cool to see. He had army chamo on and everything. Yeah theres all kinds of famous people that come through here. Thats what this place is all about, doing big things. It is definitely something to wow you. They have alot of great recovery groups.

I’ve been saved for 40 years this month. I was one of the original members of Jubilee back in 1980 when it was Sierra Covenant Faith Center meeting in that rental hall Dick probably mentions whenever he talks about the church’s roots. I was with the church the whole time it was Faith Christian Fellowship of Cupertino, meeting in the Cupertino YMCA. And I was there when it moved to its first building in a Mountain View industrial park. My wife and I served the church during almost all of that time, my wife as the then-children’s pastor.
The only reason I’m not still attending there is that I moved away from the South Bay back in late 1983 and have never returned to live there, though I visit every time I’m in the area.
Dick Bernal was who scripturally and compassionately answered my intensely skeptical questions about the Word of Faith movement when we first met. He is a fine pastor, one of the best teachers of the Word I’ve ever heard, and I respect him for his «realness.» He has an incredible passion for reaching the lost, especially in the 3^rd world, backing that up with personal missions trips to India and elsewhere.
He does have an unfortunate tendency to name drop to build credibility among strangers, but he is not the only person to suffer from that fault.
As far as finances are concerned, the Body of Christ has suffered from huge amounts of bad teaching from two major sources: 1) Roman Catholicism which erroneously teaches that God wants us to be poor and that poverty is a blessing from God, and; 2) venal televangelists who teach the opposite extreme in order to get into our pockets for their own financial gain.
Dick is neither. He indeed preaches that God wants to prosper us, spirit, soul, and body, but he is all about building the Kingdom of God, not the kingdom of Bernal.
God wants to prosper us financially so we can both be personally blessed and to fund the advancement of His kingdom. There are simply too many passages in Scripture declaring precisely that — so long as we are generous and do not allow our money and possessions to become idols, that is! — to believe otherwise.
Jubilee spends a tremendous amount of money on missions, which is to me, the primary indicator that any church has its priorities in line. His explanation of the church’s finances during a service is in fact Dick publicly making himself accountable for how the church handles its money. Jubilee is not the only church that regularly does so since the PTL scandal of the 1980s.
Rather than criticizing him for it, people should be applauding his financial transparency.
No church is perfect and the only perfect pastor to walk this earth was crucified for our sins – every other pastor following will never measure up!
The burning question people need to be asking God the answer to is not «Do I like it here?» or «Is the pastor entertaining?» but «God, what church family do You want me in?» If you walk out your church search with that question as the foremost in your mind and heart, you’ll find «home.»
If God leads you to Jubilee, you’ll indeed be blessed there. If He leads you elsewhere, you’ll be blessed there, as well.

The staff of this church are dishonest crooks. During their recent giveaway, they packed the backpacks with a coupon from a local salon and said that it was for a «free haircut», even though the coupon definitely printed out in large letters «$ 8.99».
At the (mom & pop) hair salon, they told me that they were being flooded with people from the church insisting that the haircuts were free, according to the church, and were getting pretty angry at the staff when they explained the coupons said otherwise. The people were arguing with the staff that they were trying to pull a «bait & switch». The staff was sure all of these people were coming from Jubilee, since that was all of the $ 8.99 coupons were custom-​made for Jubilee.
The staff was pretty upset about donating to the church, since there were lots of scenes in the shop that were caused by the misled churchgoers. Later on, I also saw some people who didn’t speak any English come in, saying that they got a 10-​pack of these free haircut coupons from a Spanish radio station, which was giving them out every hour. On the coupons (which said $ 8.99) was a red stamp over the numbers saying «Free»…
Definitely a donation-​horror-​story, if I’ve ever heard one. I hope the services at this church aren’t also run this way…

Jubilee Christian Center meant nothing to me for years, because I never went with my wife while she was going. I was an atheist who believed that my wife (back then, my girlfriend), was wasting her time believing in something «fictitious.» That wasn’t all though. I was surrounded with friends who were also non-​believers, and thought the idea of there being a «God» was pure lunacy, much like believing that Santa Clause really exists (as one of my friend’s put it so bluntly). Finally, after around a couple of years, I decided to see what she was doing out of being curious. I went to Jubilee, but wasn’t too excited. I didn’t go again after that.
I guess, at some point, I gave it another try. This time with a more objective manner, but still an atheist not believing in Christ. I started noticing things more when i was objective, like how happy people were confiding in something more than purely human. What I didn’t like then was, that a lot of Christians were not as objective being a christian towards other peoples’ beliefs than I was being objective towards their beliefs. This really detracted from opening up my mind to the concept of Christianity. I was at a standstill, hitting a roadblock with even developing an ounce of faith.
OK, what was I to do? Everything was seeming bizarre to me at this point. Well, then I was like… if my wife believes in Jesus, and what He did for humanity at the Cross, then I’ll do a little reading. I was a purely scientific person back then. I spent most of my time in college studying anthropology, and the many different religions that existed in the world, past and present.
Now, WHAT MAKES JUBILEE A GREAT PLACE to people who come from such a friction-​based «faithless» background?
Pastor Dick Bernal of course. I only had a very brief conversation with him one time when I was volunteering for the Thanksgiving give-​a-​way. In the short conversation with him, I felt like he was a really genuine person. There are so many pastors, priests, bishops, etc., that one becomes a copy of the next. Not Pastor Dick. He’s a man that worked with his hands and built things his whole life. At one point, he suffered emotional battles, and felt like something wasn’t right. I guess as people, we like to think life is about how bad life can get. But, it’s the exact opposite. He has a wife that adores him, a son, Adam, who is also an integral part of the church as well. Moses had Aaron, Dick has Adam, and Jaunita… and his wife Carla. The church is representative of family triumphs and conflicts.
My point is, there is so much more than just walking in, and listening to scripture. It involves a holistic attitude that involves reading the Bible, and WANTING more than a world were we just live and die… a world where I thought once we die, that’s it! I guess Jubilee has taught me that faith is not just a term used loosely, it’s a craving for our need to feel loved by something greater than what our mortal mind allows us to believe. All these people walking around drinking, doing drugs, committing physical and/​or mental abuse against others, are all limited to what they believe in at that time. But, believing in God (Jesus) is a whole lot better than «giving up.» People who give up lay face down, and deny help from others who see someone in need. That’s like God, he wants to give you what you need, but if you deny His help, He cannot help you.
So Jubilee is a loving, caring, and community-​oriented church that strives to rebuild and society that needs it. When you walk into the church, walk in feeling like you are there for God, and all of his people (us). Reading the Bible is a must. There is nothing in life that doesn’t involve understanding, and we get that from reading, writing, or speaking. Loving God allows us to emit LOVE endlessly. Not believing in God, leaves us with limited love that dies do to various reasons (fighting/​arguing, death, etc. = conditional love). This church teaches you that you are always developing, but wise decisions involve the match-​up of God’s will, with the judgment/​free will He empowered us with, That’s the greatest thing to realize. Just because we can, doesn’t mean we should.
Where else could you get this guidance? That’s what makes Jubilee so potent!

I’m Catholic, but I’ve always wanted to attend a Christian church just to see how it’s like. One of my exboyfriends describe it to be very open, a lot of singing, and a lot of interaction. Very different from a Catholic church. We broke up before his mom had the chance to take me to her church.
Years later I met Adam. He, too, is Catholic. But sometime during the last few years he started to attend a Christian church in San Jose. He loves introducing people into new things so when I told him I never attended Jubilee before he took up the opportunity and took me to this church.
I have to say, it was quite overwhelming.
Catholic churches are quiet, conservative and always extremely humble. From the moment I entered Jubilee, to the moment I walked out it was nothing I’ve ever experienced.
The parking space outside of Jubilee is huge. The building doesn’t have it’s typical Catholic-​like built where the cross is above the roof top. It’s white and has columns with a nice steps to the tall glass doors.
When you walk through the doors you are greeted by 3 church volunteers with a smile and a handshake, «Hi, thank you for coming.» These two simple gestures makes you feel as if you’ve been coming there for years and that perhaps you knew them personally. It was most welcoming.
Behind them you can find several entrances to the auditorium. Adam took me to the main entrance to the auditorium. I was overwhelmed. It was like a concert like décor. The first thing I notice was the lighting they had on stage. It was beautiful! The violet, purple and light yellows. I loved it.
We sat (at his usual spot) at the far left side facing the sat. (I thought since it was my first time there, he might want me to experience it better by sitting in the center. Oh well, I never said he was the best host. hehee) They usually start soon after 7:30PM. I expected some light singing, but once they start it started with hard drums and strong vocals. It scared me a bit –once again, I’m use to the Catholic type of sessions.
Adam whispers to me telling me that no one here judges you, and people actually gets really into it. Unsure what he meant, but as the beginning move along I finally understood what he meant.
People had their hands in the air, singing along to the song being sung, tissues being passed around (i, too, started crying), everyone greeted everyone… bottomline, it was just like a concert.
4 songs later, a man pastor (someone whom I forgot the name of) in jeans and a collar shirt starts to bring us into prayer and continue the evening with a little bible studying. I was a little surprised. I expected the pastor to dress in slacks underneath a white (or some sort of a solid color) robe. Nothing of the kind.
Forgive me, this 1^st experience was back in 2009. I do not remember what was said.
After it was over, I left Jubilee knowing that I really wanted to come back again. Due to the fact that I didn’t have a car until over a year later, I was unable to attend. Under unfortunate circumstances Adam was unable to take me.
But you can bet your pretty little butt that once I got a car, I attend my 1^st Wednesday as soon as possible.
I’ve been attending ever since (including my Catholic church on Sundays).
Do I recommmend this spot? Yes I do!
