History

Established in 2002.

JLC Designs was established in 2002. While working in hi-​tech sales, Jan wanted to build a home for her family and wanted to manage the construction. Following her passion began her study of Interior Design receiving her Design Certificate from UCSC. During the construction of her home many neighbors would ask «Who is your Designer?». This led to an organic acquisition of clients immediately and word of mouth spread. Twelve years have passed and the passion continues.

Business Owner

Janette (Jan) Corrie has lived in the South Bay area for over 25 years. Born and raised in West Virginia with a BA in Education from WVU, she fell in love with the Bay Area after driving across the country after college. Her first residence in California was Newport Beach but missing the mountains of home she visited the Bay Area and it felt like home.

Jan has a long background in high tech sales working start-​ups as well as established networking companies. Always interested in the arts she became determined to build a home for her family and started attending classes evenings and weekends to obtain a design degree. Jan received her Interior Design Certificate in 2002 and continues to serve the Bay Area with innovative construction based designs.
