History

Established in 2013.

ITAV is a licensed Small Family Child Care Home (License # 434 413 664) for ages 2+. ITAV’s mission is to provide safe, reliable, affordable, and high quality child care in a nurturing and family friendly environment. Essentially, it is your child’s «home away from home.»

This beautiful and spacious daycare is located in the East Foothills of San Jose in a very nice, clean, and safe neighborhood. Besides love and laughter, ITAV is filled with lots of fun, educational, and age appropriate toys, games, and activities for children. ITAV also offers fun outdoor toys and activities that promote excellent gross motor skills, such as a large sandbox, tricycles, and swing set.

Children learn best through playing. Some activities your child would be doing are: Storytelling, singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, painting, and other arts and crafts. Your child will also learn and practice their ABC’s, numbers, colors, and shapes, as well as participate in fun imaginative activities.

Meet the Business Owner

Cristina M.

Business Owner

The children call me «Miss Cristina.» I am a very responsible and caring adult who loves and adores children. I love teaching, nurturing, and taking care of children and I have two daughters of my own (Ages 2 and 5).

I am CPR and First Aid Certified and I have been trained in Safety Prevention and Health with the Red Cross. I have also taken Child Development and Psychology courses at SJSU, although I received my degree in Business Management.

I absolutely love what I do and I put all of my heart and soul into ITAV and the children I care for. It is an honor and privilege to be able to see the children grow and learn, happy and healthy, every day. We are one big happy family at ITAV and that is the way it should be.
