What’s to say? Their classic donuts are excellent and delicious — we always go to them for donuts, even they’re a little out of way.

I love living in Cupertino but there’s nearly nothing open late at night(after 12 am) for food, especially if you’re craving a sandwich. After a night out, I was ready to head home but suddenly I felt Hangry. I was starving but there was nothing in my house remotely anything like a sandwich which was top priority on my mind. Something about bread, meat and cheese was on my mind. Sadly in n out closed at 1 am so I was fresh out of options. 1:20AM. Driving back home on De Anza Boulevard, I see the open sign at happy donuts and I figure«well, maybe I’ll grab something sugary and see what’s good here.» I walk in and see a sandwich menu. There’s some hope in this world. Not only sandwiches but there’s also a slew of breakfast sandwiches. I guess I can hold off on the sugary sweets for now. The selection of meats and breads was slim but to my luck they had turkey and white bread so got a sandwich with everything except pickles and mustard. Now maybe I was so hangry that I was in love with the sandwich. The bread was lightly toasted. Fillings tasted reasonably fresh. However half a star off because not warmed up and half a star off because it was $ 6.25 for a couple of slices of turkey, tomato, onion, lettuce, mayo, banana peppers, and white bread. Still considering I was having sandwich cravings, it was very good. Tastier than subway and many joints, maybe I’ll have to ask for a different sandwich. If you want sandwiches and are stuck late night, then Happy Donuts is the place for you. Staff friendly, clean restaurant, and wifi at 15 Mbps(not bad at all for a business). Pay attention to $ 5 card minimum and the best part is they are open 24⁄7!

With a large assortment of donuts, bagels, muffins and croissants, Happy Donuts has baked goods for everyone, as well as burgers, sandwiches(breakfast ones, too) and Korean food if you’re craving something savory. Place is always crowded with students. The Korean short ribs and bulgogi are great, and I love being able to order it here late night. However, the past few times I’ve had donuts here(around midnight), they’d been in the case too long.

So delicious and so nice. My favorite is the jalapeño bagel dog and Vietnamese coffee, the kids love the donuts. The best place!

I love this place. The place needs a good remodel and the bathroom too. But, I can’t complain. I can’t study at home. I drive 25 minutes to come study here. Open 24 hours, the Americanos are strong, donuts are good. The ladies working there are nice too– poor ladies taking on all the people. Overall, I am grateful for the 24⁄7 service.

Best place to get donuts. Their Apple Fritter and Pecan Rolls are perfect! WAY better than the pecan roll at Whole Foods.

Been coming here since I was a kid, and nothing has changed! I love that they’ve stayed true to their family-owned business and their amazing donut recipes. Every time I visit, I’m greeted with a genuine smile, and their huge selection means I can get any kind of donut I’m craving. PLUS, they’re super cheap, and they always throw in a couple free donut holes. What’s not to love??? I hope this place stays here forever and ever. That’s all I’m sayin’.

There are many Happy Donuts around the Bay Area. But, they’re not a chain and just because you find something at one, doesn’t mean it’ll be at another. Case in point, I went to one on Winchester and they didn’t have the variety of donut holes at this location. Also, while both were very good, they weren’t the same. As for this location, automatic bonus points for being open 24 hours. The service is always as I believe this is a family-run shop. There is parking in the front of the shop, but the spots are a little tight. Free wifi when you eat there. Now for the donuts. Big selection! But, my favorites are the sprinkled donuts made with yeast dough(hard to find it with yeast dough and not cake dough) and the maple bar with cream filling. Also, if you like donut holes, this is the spot. They have tons of different types: regular glazed, chocolate, cinnamon, sprinkled cake, cream-filled, custard-filled, and jelly-filled to name a few. They also serve croissants, sandwiches(breakfast and lunch), cookies, Vietnamese coffee and Asian lunch plates(Although, I’ve never tried them). Also to note, yes, they are open 24 hours, but doesn’t mean they will have the huge selection at 4pm. If you want a certain flavor after work, it might be a good idea to give them a quick call.

If possible, this place would be given 6 stars! Happy donuts has the best donuts and breakfast sandwiches. My boyfriend and I love the #24, ham, egg and cheese croissant sandwich which is bigger than the size of my hand. While the sandwich is being made, we drink coffee and munch on donuts. Our favorite has to be the classic glazed donut, which is what Krispy Kreme tries to be. Then our second donut will be an old fashion, and the chocolate and blueberry are both awesome. Though we haven’t tried any of the other pastries(yet) I bet they are amazing since everything else here is. Finally the staff, the girls behind the counter are very attentive and work really hard. As for whoever is the chef in the back, keep it up as well! I will always recommend this place for a delicious and quick breakfast treat :)

I am in love with raspberry EVERYTHING. So that’s probably why i’m addicted to Happy Donuts and their amazing raspberry filled glazed donuts & their raspberry filled donut holes, they are so fucking good! Happy Donuts is always open, DONUTSALLLLLLTHETIME?! YEEEEBUDDY! There are ALWAYS people in here, studying, socializing with friends or just enjoying the quality of the donuts. The place is kept immaculate; tables are clean, counters are clean and if it’s not, the attentive staff caters to it. If there is trash, they clean it. (Never been in the bathrooms to be honest, lol) Donuts are fresh, always. As previously stated, I LOVERASPBERRY. I highly reccomend the raspberry filled glazed, or if you’re not as hungry(since it’s huge and they do NOT skimp on the jelly!) try some donut holes, they’re pretty much the same, but 2-bite sized!(3 for me haha) The chocolate glazed aren’t very memorable, and the bear claws aren’t to die for either. But I will keep coming back for the raspberry filled things. Me & my friends always joke around and say Happy Donuts actually makes you happy… & it’s true! You will leave feeling happy.

LOVE you Happy Donuts! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and I still find myself coming back here for some old skool donut lovin’. They have one of the cheapest prices I know of with FRESH and soft donuts. Even thought this place is open 24 hours and whether or not you walk in at midnight or 8AM, this place ALWAYS has quality donuts. It’s not like Donut Wheel which has served me hard-ass donuts at 10PM in the past. This is the best and my favorite donut spot, so GOINANDSEEWHAT I MEAN. Their donut holes are the absolute trademark. Plus they have free Wifi for customers, and I always see people whether I’m coming in to get breakfast for the next morning or waltzing in here on a lazy weekend morning. There’s a reason why this spot is STILL here and doing well even though it’s in a space with horrible parking and tons of tutor centers nearby.

This is a great spot for late night sweet cravings, hangovers, etc. prices are still pretty high between $ 1 – 4 with a short variety but good enough to have people’s favorites. They also have a nice seating area for quiet social gatherings or study time. Customer service is attentive and very kind.

Love this little donut shop right near my parents place. I’ve been a customer since my elementary school days and they’ve consistently had great service. There are a ton of donuts to choose from and also a lot of savory dishes if you don’t feel like getting that early morning sugar rush. They also have a great selection of coffee.

They’ve got a great variety of donuts to pick from for all your cravings! The best part is that this place is 24⁄7! You can have all the donuts you want, any hour of the day ;) I ordered their crumble cake donut and it had a wonderful texture and an impeccable taste. It’s what an ideal cake donut should be like. The workers were all also very nice and patient with us while we were deciding which flavor we wanted. Another cool thing is that they offer free wifi and have several tables available for people to come in and study. In fact, there were several groups studying when we came in at midnight. How studious of them. I would like to come here again next time I’m in the area and try some of their other flavors. The only problem is I don’t know which ones to try next since there’s so many different flavors! It’s like being a kid in a candy store.

This is a 24 hour donut shop! Donuts at every hour? Win! Even bigger plus: they have tables on the side to eat and study. There were people studying when I visited this place. After all it is 24 hour with coffee and snack to keep you fueled. They also serve coffee, bagels, and sandwiches here. I got a chocolate crumb old fashioned donut, it had good flavor with the right texture. It tasted the right amount of chocolate without being overwhelming with a bit of sweetness. The texture was crunchy on the outside and soft and cake-like on the inside. Overall pretty good. Their regular donuts are priced at a $ 1 each.

Came by for a sausage egg and cheese croissant the other day. It was surprisingly decent! Service was friendly by the staff and the breakfast sandwich was huge! The croissant was fresh, and there were two sausage patties, a pretty big scrambled egg patty, and two pieces of processed cheese. …perfect for breakfast and lunch! $ 4.95+ tax!

It sounds quite counterproductive, but I almost always come here after a dental appointment next door. It’s hard to resist the delicious smells wafting out from Happy Donuts. I’ve been going here for years. They have a large variety of donuts – glazed, cake donuts, donut holes, filled, French, and so on. They also sell sandwiches and drinks, but I’m only there for the donuts. I was sad to find out that they don’t sell chocolate donut holes anymore, but that’s ok! I love their glazed and French donuts. Whenever we order a good amount of donuts, the owner is quite generous with giving away free donut holes. The other day, she let us try their jelly-filled donut holes. I’m not a fan of filled donuts, but it was quite good. Not as overwhelming as a regular-sized jelly-filled donut, so if you’re looking for something small, go with their jelly-filled donut holes! They also have other types of filled donut holes. Though they try to cater to more people by offering items other than donuts, I would stick to their donut items. If you’re going to a place called ‘Happy Donuts’, it’s safe to assume that they mainly specialize in donuts.
