H & H Towing Service

H & H Towing earning those 5 star reviews. Today is the first time I had to use a towing service and I am glad I called Hector. His prices are very competitive and his services are superb.

I called Hector on a Sunday morning to pick up a car in Concord and haul it to San Jose. He was happy to jump in his truck right away and get it done. On top of that, he charged less than the other two places I called. Absolutely no problems with the haul, and the car was delivered to my driveway a few hours later. It was the kind of experience you hope for when arranging these things. I’ll glady call H&H next time I need something towed.

Hector towed me after my battery died. He was very friendly, competent, and he got my car onto and off of the truck fast. I rode along to the auto shop in his cab and felt totally safe and comfortable. I was able to pay with a credit card, which was very convenient for me. I will definitely call him if I need a tow again, and you should, too.

I used Hector yesterday. My truck died on the 101 in Morgan Hill with two vintage scooters in the bed on the way to a scooter rally in SLO. I think we only waited like maybe 45min tops. Luckily he had a flatbed truck and was able to hoist my ’86 Ford ranger in the back.
Towing rate was really reasonable to get me to South San Jose but he offered another price to drive us all the way back home to San Leandro which I thought was a good price too so I just had him tow me home.
We fixed the truck, fingers crossed when I got home. Fingers crossed since it is a bit of a beast. But if I’m in the area again and need a tow, hopefully not… I’d definitely call Hector!

Hector is very good people. He was able to accommodate me at the drop of a hat, go to Boulder Creek without me to pick up a 3 ton vintage truck, and brought it back safe and sound to my house in SSJ for an incredibly reasonable price. He also uses Square for a SUPER easy credit card transaction. There’s nothing more I’d look for in a towing service. Need a tow? Call Hector.

Hector is a great guy my bf truck broke down and the other towing companies wanted to charge us 120 to tow it to the mechanics we called hector and his price was so much better it was less than 80 dollars and he was here within 15 minutes of calling him. I would be calling Hector if anything else happens.

Extremely rude. Tried to charge extra money just for having to show some papers. Advertises one price online and then tried to charge another.

Hector is a one-​man company. He arrived in half hour, helped some lucky guy across the street to unlock his car, navigated a tricky path into my driveway and got my car loaded. On the way to mechanic he guessed the location, when we were exiting freeway! That’s some 12 miles away from the starting point. That’s some experience!
Ipaid sixty. I think I could negotiate a lower amount, but I wanted to help him out.

I had to get a tow from a tricky spot in my carport to a destination over 50 miles away. Hector showed up very quickly and was able to get his rig into position on a hill and safely got my car on his flatbed. He was reasonably priced, great to work with, and had my full confidence that the job would be done right. Excellent work.

I feel like I made a Unilocal account solely for all the car issues I have. My car wouldn’t start when leaving work, so I jumped on Unilocal and tried calling to get a tow. The first place I called went to voicemail then I called H & H due to them being the second company listed on my Unilocal search. Hector picked up right away, got my coordinates, and got my car ready for tow within the hour of calling. The rate was great, he drove well, an unloaded my car perfectly in my driveway.
I called up H & H again a few days later to get a tow to a local auto shop. Experienced the same great service and will definitely be using him if needed in the future. H & H definitely deserves 5 stars!

As far as I can remember towing my car never really conjures up fond memories, but meeting Hector today was a pleasure! My car broke down and I called H&H and hector was there quickly. He was kind and patient with me. But most of all the truck ride wasn’t awkward at all! HAHA! Hector is the kind of person that is easy to talk to, and you feel good about it after the conversation. He has fair prices, and his service was excellent! He is willing to work with you if your tight on cash or in a bind (all within reason of course). Local business, excellent customer service, and good people; attributes like this make unpleasant experiences, such as a car breaking down, not sting as much! Thanks Hector and H&H towing!

Excellent, quick service.
On our way back to San Francisco from a weekend trip the power steering went out on our vehicle. We were able to pull off of the 280 in San Jose, and looked up a local towing company. Hector responded right away, we only had to wait 15 minutes (on a Sunday afternoon), and loaded our SUV onto the flatbed within minutes and we were on our way. The tow truck was nice and fit 4 of us plus Hector comfortably, and he took us to Oaklan (or San Francisco) for $ 180.
If you are ever in need of a tow I’d definitely recommend H & H!

I have been using his towing service for three times now for my family old cars. He’s always on time; once he promises you he come around certain time, he will. His price is very reasonable. I gotta love his friendly attitude.

A towing company isn’t always someone you want to do business with, but every so often comes the need. Hector at H & H Towing comes in at the top of the list when it comes to customer service.
I purchased a vintage car on a Thursday (1^st Gen CVCC) and needed to tow it from Concord to my mechanic in Santa Clara on Friday or Saturday. I called a few places to get some quotes and the cheapest I was given was $ 250. I also called H & H Towing, and since I got a voicemail greeting, I left my contact information and asked for a quote on a tow for Friday or Saturday. First thing Friday morning I receive a call from Hector saying that he just so happened to be in Concord that morning for another job, and that he could tow my car on his way back for $ 150. Wow, what a deal. I thought it might be a problem because I had the key in San Jose, and had no way of getting it to him in Concord at that time. He said that as long as no cars were parked in front of it, he didn’t need the key. Since the car was on the street, I had no way of knowing if there was a car parked in front of it at that particular time or not. Hector agreed to go and check anyway, not knowing for sure if he would be able to tow the car that morning without the key (although I agreed to compensate him for his time if he couldn’t).
This is where the real customer service comes in. Hector calls me to tell me that he sees the car, there are no cars in front of it, and that he can tow it. There is one problem however, the previous owner refuses to let him take the car. (I won’t get into all the details, but the seller wanted an additional $ 100, on the spot. I tried making arrangements to make an immediate payment via PayPal, mail a Money Order, transfer money, anything, but he wouldn’t budge. I’m not trying to cheat him out of anything, but he wants cash on the spot, or the car stays. Even though I’ve already been given the keys and title.) I speak with Hector again and apologize that I had him run around, but that the previous owner won’t let the car go until I give him an additional $ 100. Hector says, ‘Is that all? I have $ 100 in my pocket. I’ll just give him the cash”. I’m really shocked at his generosity to help. I agree to repay Hector when I pay for the towing, so he gives the guy the $ 100 and tows the vehicle to Santa Clara.
All of this is happening while I’m at work, so I can’t really make arrangements to wait for Hector at the mechanic and pay him when he arrives. I asked Hector if I can leave the payment in an envelope for him (including the $ 100 he put out of his own pocket) at the mechanic shop. He agrees. An hour or so later, he calls me to tell me the car is at the mechanic shop and that he received the envelope with payment.
Without Hector’s help, this whole towing ordeal would have certainly taken more time, cost more money, and have been a lot more stressful.
