History

Established in 2001.

I taught watercolor to group students at Art Spirit, Saratoga back in 1983, but I started retail business next year so I stopped the classes.

I sold my business 2001 and I had group watercolor classes at local art supply, Michael’s in Saratoga.

My first one-​on-​one sdudent was retired gentleman from one of Fortune 500 companies, he want to be able to do life drawing on figure and people, only three months to finish, so I designed a class just to fit him.

The result is very positive to both of us, he is now confident of figure drawing and I have new perspective– I can teach to anyone in short time and make him to professional level!

Business Owner

Genway Gao, was born and raised in Tainan, Taiwan. Birthplace for many international renown artists and musicians.

Won World School Children’s Art Competition at the age of 6. Ever since it he won every year’s city or nation’s awards until high school.

He moved to California at college years and start to teach watercolor at

Art Spirit, Saratoga.

He has studied in National Gallery of Art in DC and are certified portrait artist.
