DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL for DUI classes. Period!
They accept only 2 forms to allow you to join the class, and God help you if you get them wrong.
I called and was told to bring my Court Documents documenting my Blood Alcohol Content, and/​or the DMV H6 form.
I did both. Well, at least I THOUGHT I did.
For one, the ONLY court document I received was from my attorney which CLEARLY documented my blood alcohol level as well as my punishments and so forth. Not a hand written letter, but an official document and court print out of the DMV’s findings sent to me via email.
Unfortunately this was NOT the document they accept. How they expected me to know the difference between ‘court document’ and ‘court document’ is beyond me. And no… That’s not a typo. I brought what I believed to be the right and ONLY court document I received from my lawyer. I explained this IN DETAIL to the man behind the glass to no avail.
Ok, fine… Let’s move to the DMV H6 printout. I went online. Googled DMV H6 printout. I pulled up the official link for the H6 printout, verified that this was indeed the ‘real’ California DMV. Paid my $ 5.00. Got my official, what I believed to be the H6 printout, and brought it with me. Nope. Wrong document again.
OK, fine. Not my fault either way, but work with me here, sir. I don’t have a license and just paid Über $ 20 to cross town to be here. OK. This document, from the court HAS the blood alcohol level written right on it. Right there. HE won’t even LOOK at it. The DMV link took me to THAT printout for the H6 form. But it turns out that is NOT the H6 form.
So, Getting my license back so I can drive to and from work is more important to me that MONEY!!! I offer to pay the required fee for the class I KNOW I’m supposed to be taking as a first time offender with a Blood alcohol under .18%, which is clear on the official document I have in my hand he will NOT look at, and tell him I I make a mistake and need a different class, I’ll take that financial resonisibily.
Just sign me up for the class and let me get started and bring you ALL of the information you need next week.
SO, what does this compassionate man behind the glass do? Repeatedly say No. No. No. These two documents or NOTHING!
So, I get pissed after getting nowhere with this man and swear and throw my bag cause I’m looking at another week of walking to a bus stop in the pouring rain. And he comes out and threatens to hit the ‘panic’ button and call the cops on me unless I calm down.
Fine. I calm down. Realize I’m dealing with a by the book, no human compassion, robot here. And leave after contacting my attorney who admits fault by bot giving me the proper paperwork.
Nice. I’ve never been through this before, sir, how about a little human compassion for someone who made a HUGE mistake in life, and has been paying dearly for it. No. Just add MORE s**t to his problems and not helping him.
And I’m not blaming THEM for MY mistake. I was an honest one. I am, however, blaming them for not even considering what I did bring, and promised to bring AFTER I paid my fee just to get the class started so I can get the ball rolling on getting my license back as soon as possible.
It’s not like I didn’t show up with what I believed to be the right paperwork empty handed like a dope. I called earlier, I inquired what I needed, and then I gathered what I thought I needed and brought it all with me. I had a legal document stating my blood alcohol level. And this man would not even look at the documents. This was NOT a hand written letter. It was the .pdf file from the DMV hearing! All of the information he required was RIGHT THERE!
I’m a first time offender and take FULL responsibility for not having what they required, and this process has been HELL. I just needed a break here. And the answer was still NO.
Give us what we need, or leave.
Please, do NOT give your money to these people. They don’t CARE about you! They want you check, and then usher you out the door.
They are by the book. Only the Book. Do not differ from the Book. The do not help people that have NEVER been through this process before, and don’t know any better. Send these poor people packing, politely, out the door to deal with an honest mistake.

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could but then I wouldn’t be able to write a review. I had a physical check appointment at 9:15 and they made us wait 2! Hours for us to even pass us to a room. After that they passed us to another room after another hour and the doctor hasn’t even as stepped into the room. The nurses and doctors just pass by as if we weren’t there. The doctors are just aimlessly walking around the hallways and when we ask they say that they are falling behind. On my opinion they shouldn’t give so many appointments to so many people on the same day at close times. While in the waiting room I asked some people and they had about the same time as mine and they said that they had been waiting for a long time to. And to make it worst they never answer the phone. I am seriously changing to another clinic.

I took my family member here for about three months, no treatment yet. I am so frustrated and really wanted to suit this facility for being so unresponsive and unreasonable process and no timely treatment!

Great place to see a gynecologist if you have Medi-​Cal. They NEVER answer their appointment line so it’s best to go in person to make an appointment. Also, the wait is not ideal but if you have an appointment it doesn’t take too long to see your doctor.
Appointments are booked pretty far out so urgent care is not available. I had an urgent question to ask my gynecologist, went in, spoke to a nurse practitioner, and got help immediately.

If ur a new patient they ask U to fill out a lot of papers. Since my ex is half blind, I have to filled out those papers n just have him signed it. After I turned in all da papers to male attendant, he didn’t even bother goin through all da papers. Called his name, handing us another form, I said I already filled that out. AFTER DA LONG WAITING, U noe how I took my time filling out those papes, wen u got into da room they ask u the SAME QUESTIONS, I even wrote down all his MEDS ONE BY ONE (what a waste of time). When the doctor finally arrived, asked me who I am, what’s my relation to da patient, I’m da baby’s mom, huh?, who? His my ex boyfriend, Dr. Said, UR HELPING TOO. Oh well, he can’t drive.

first time patient at this clinic. my appointment was for 3pm but for new patients they ask you to come in a half hour early to fill out paperwork. I got there at 230 and was called in just before 3. all the nurses were really friendly and easy to deal with. the girl who did my intake was cool and made me feel at ease. we joked around; she was chill. the doctor who I saw angelica holden, was very nice and informative. update: dr. guerrero was cool and easy to deal with. 5 stars.

We been here 2 years already, but today the first time I meet Estella, she is nurse at Gardner, she very nice person, she help my mom anything. She does good job I want to say thanks to her

I’m so upset with this establishment. When a woman is pregnant, the last thing she wants to do is put her needs behind what is policy. I have had a lot of complications with testing and incorrect estimates of my weeks of pregnancy, since I’ve gone into this office. The inaccurate weeks of pregnancy actually forced my genetic testing to come up with my baby possibly having Down Syndrome. Then, to top it off, after all the ups and downs with the possibility of having birth defects and getting an amniocentesis, I decided to find another OBGYN. After calling them in the end of February to tell them I will no longer be with them, I ask about transferring my medical records to my new doctor’s office and they say to come in. Well, my new insurance change became effective the 1^st of March and I go into the office around the 5^th, and they tell me I need to go through a 3^rd party medical records company. They say it will take about a week. They refuse to give me my medical records and then I get a bill in the mail from the 3^rd party medical records company for $ 18.42. There staff messed up by not telling me in February that it would take over a week to get the medical records and now there is a charge for information that is mine??? They messed up on my due date. The only person in the office that was consistent was their nutritionist. I just think that when you become accustom with a certain type of professionalism in a medical establishment, it’s hard to settle for being treated like cattle. That is how I feel, at the end of this all, like I have just been used to make a profit. I hope people seriously rethink using these people for any type of medical assistance.

The 5 stars is definitely not for the wait. BTW– if you are a new patient, be prepared to wait an hour after your scheduled appointment because that is the standard — as I was told yesterday. If you do not have insurance then this place is a better alternative than going to E.R. If you are working then the co-​pay will be based on your income and the total # in your household.
All of the stress, trouble, etc. is definitely EXHAUSTING. I workout pretty much everyday no matter what but since yesterday, I have had no will to because I’m not only physically tired but mentally beaten down as well. I took the monster in yesterday because he wasn’t feeling well… that one hour wait was the hardest ever because he is active and moves around like a little chubby worm now but I somehow managed a smile even though at the back of my mind, I was worried. If he is sick and contagious, that means daycare won’t accept him and what does that mean? That means I need to hire a sitter. The cost to have him be seen, his medication that I picked up at Walgreen’s yesterday, and the cost of hiring a sitter is going to be responsible for me to eat less this weekend until my next paycheck. Heck, I hope to lose some weight.
The doctor was friendly and informative. The staff were welcoming and caring. I fed the boy a banana that was given to me because he looked hungry and cute (haha). I don’t eat fruits so yesterday was my 1^st time peeling a banana. OMG, it was so gross… but glad it used up about 10 minutes because he sat still whilst I was feeding him.
There is a parking lot despite being in downtown. No meters even if you have to park on the street (at least that’s what I observed). At the end, you go to the cashier to pay. If you do not have your pay stub, you can bring it back w/​in 5 days and pay the «discounted» fee if you are qualified otherwise they will send you a bill of $ 70 (full price).
Waiting an hour is better than waiting 4 hours+ at E.R. and paying $ 30-​$ 70 is a lot better than paying $ 100+ at the hospital. This is a Monday-​Friday business though but I certainly appreciate services like this.

I have had private health insurance my whole life until recently. My husband and I have both lost our jobs leaving us without health insurance. I have been without my needed daily perscriptions for more than 6 months. I went to Gardner expecting minimal health care. I was pleasantly surprised with the great staff and the care I received from Dr. Tran. Every staff member I interacted with in each area of the office was courtious and pleasant. The facility was clean and up to date. I was so impressed I would return when I have health insurance again. Thank you Gardner Health Center for making a difficult time in my life a positive one. Keep up the great work.

They are very kind at Gardner. The nurse, Minerva, spent at least 20 minutes talking to me like familia, during a very rough time. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the power to prescribe for the kind of medication I needed, but Minerva directed me to another resource. She even drew me a map for finding the freeway when I left. Definitely a health center where you will be treated like a human being, not a number.

As a high school guidance counselor I have recommended GHC center to many of my families. Thank you for all you guys do! I would concur with Joyce when it comes to being a resource to helping families who do not have health insurance.

Oh! this place is sooo great for people who do not have sufficient health insurance. I went here to bring my mother who has Medi-​Cal and this place is just very very helpful!!! Yes, place is very clean too!!!
