Duy is amazing! I felt so bad to having to call him up so last minute for my company party but he was very accommodating, professional, friendly, patient, and most importantly… made it work!

Duy is the best! He provided the up-​lighting and gobo lights for my wedding, and his lighting was definitely a nice touch to the perfect wedding.
It was Duy’s first time using gobo lighting to project on to the ceiling and he totally knocked it out of the ball park. Duy definitely did his due diligence by doing research on the side and working with the venue on getting these gobo lights done perfectly.
FunkVibe provided great service at an affordable price and I definitely recommend them!

We hired Duy to dj our wedding and he did a great job. The music was very important to me and he worked with me on all the details to have exactly what I wanted. Duy even worked with me on a Bridal Party Mash up that I must have altered 10 times. He was very patient and offered ideas to help me decide. The day of the wedding, he was on point and everything was done great. He even added some songs in the cocktail hour and dinner that matched the vibe we were going for. But the best part about Duy is that he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great wedding — he brought lights that matched my colors to illuminate the dance floor for our first dance. Thank you Duy!

DeeJay Duy — This guy is a rockstar, a legend! We hired him for our wedding that took place this past weekend. He is very organized and he truly cares about your event — going above and beyond! Our wedding guests cannot stop raving about him and the amazing job he did not only helping us with our timeline, but the music was so good that several people ended up injured while dancing so hard! (This is true!!) My 80 year old uncle was dancing to hip hop music and said he loved it. WHAT?! Very epic night and my guest are definitely asking me when he’s hosting again. I’m thinking I need him for birthday parties and just parties for the heck of it– Duy is a MUST HAVE for any event!
He also did the lighting for our wedding, which he matched exactly to our coral wedding theme colors. The dance floor lights were also taken care of. We had an outdoor wedding, so we really did need some ambiance, and he had no problem getting it all prepared.

I hired Duy for my sons wedding a year and half ago. His set up, lighting and music list was amazing. The guests had the best time. He got everyone up and dancing. I have highly recommended him to several of my friends for they parties.

FunkVibe Entertainment did my wedding in June 2014 and they were a hit! Duy came to rehearsal which was a surprise since most don’t include without extra fees but rehearsing the ceremony with the actual music made it feel more realistic. Right off the bat, my cousin said wow your dj seem really good!
They provided music for ceremony and reception, emcee services, and uplighting. Everything came together and turned out more great than I can imagined. Even with all my great vendors, FunkVibe set a fun great vibe and energy throughout my wedding day and was a BIG part of the success. The uplighting and party lights really transformed the place and made it fun that we all had a great time dancing the night away. I got so many compliments afterwards that the music was amazing and was by far the best of any wedding!
I appreciate all their efforts as it’s true they were the first ones at the venue to set up and the last to leave. Duy is great at what he does as he been doing it for a long time and his passion shows. He definitely deserve more stars for going above and beyond. Thank you again and I wish I can rewind back to my special wedding day!

I first hired Duy a little over 5 years ago for a small party I hosted in my home for family and friends. He did nothing less than deliver great service and really put my guests in a happy type dancing mode which was exactly what I was going for.
After that initial party I hired him over and over again for various parties and events.
I have referred him to friends and family who tend to be the «picky» type and he has Wowed them with his punctuality and wide variety of music delivery.
What’s cool is he suits all types of crowds! I am a business owner and I thought it would be a great idea to have him mix it up at an event we had this past weekend, I’m so glad he was able to make it out! THE CROWD LOVED THE VIBE he threw out there! His musical presence was definitely good for business!
Clearly, I will utilize his service again and will refer him to all of my friends, family and business associates!

Duy is the best DJ ever! He was my DJ for my wedding at The Citizen Hotel in Sacramento 2 weeks ago. He came all the way from San Jose to be my DJ. He took all of his nice sound and lighting equipment onto his trailer just to make me have an unforgettable beautiful wedding. He is super nice and professional. All of my guests were complimenting the lights and sound equipment that I had at my wedding. The guests had a fabulous time at the wedding because DJ Duy did a GREAT job on picking out the songs and everything went smoothly from ceremony to cocktail hours and from cocktail hours to the reception! All of the lights and monogram he did for my wedding was super EPIC!!! He is the best that words can’t explain how much I love my wedding because of the sound equipment he has and the lighting he set up which made the whole event so beautiful! I hired Duy to DJ for my 80s themed birthday party I had. He was very professional, arrived on time, brought all the lights and equipment we agreed on, played all the music I requested and did an awesome job mixing all my favorite 80s songs. We had so much fun I asked him to stay longer than scheduled and he was happy to do so!

The original lighting company I hired for my wedding wasn’t going to be able to follow the contract. So less than a month before my wedding I contacted Funkvibe Entertainment, Duy was so nice and came to the venue and setup about 6 lights to make sure I was going to be happy with the overall look! My venue has VERY dark brown walls but the pink lights were awesome! The whole room was pink just like I wanted on my wedding day! I can’t say enough great things about Funkvibe Entertainment! If you want uplighting this is the company to call!
