Specialties

Welcome to Fu Kee Restaurant, a family-run restaurant specializing in Chinese Cuisine with Southeast Asian influence.

We uses fresh ingredients and a balanced approach to showcase the techniques and flavors of the Asia Pacific Rim. As Chinese have migrated to Southeast Asia and other parts of the world, age-old recipes have evolved to incorporate local ingredients and flavors. The cuisine at Fu Kee Restaurant is a celebration of these rich and diverse culinary crossroads, with traditional Chinese dishes that feature new twists and flavors while showcasing the bounty of local produce and ingredients.

History

Established in 1999.

Tuyen worked for his mother’s Phu Lam Chinese Restaurant located at Story Rd in San Jose for more than ten years, after his marry, he decided to open his first small restaurant specialized in the cuisine that he familiar and grown up with; Chinese Cuisine with Southeast Asian influences. And of course, being in California, it is hard to ignore the bounty of fresh ingredients that is grown nearby, so you will notice a strong affinity for seasonality.
