Between burgers and burritos, my favorite foods to eat… I would say Five Guys is a good place to go to for burgers. The regular burgers they have two patties, so if you’re just wanting one(which boggles my mind), opt for the small burger. I always get the bacon burger with everything on it(you can mix and match the toppings for free, but why not get everything right!!!), with a side of cajun fries and milkshake. I go all out man!!! Yes, the order of fries and drink are separate, but trust me, you get what you pay for. If you are a burger afficionado, you will appreciate Five Guys. And did I mention they have free peanuts???

I ordered the mini cheeseburger with grilled onions, ketchup, mayo, tomatoes, and lettuce. I’ve been to Five Guys a few times but this time I was not as satisfied with their burger. My bun was a bit soggy and every time I took a bite, everything in the middle(my patty with the melted cheese and the toppings I added) kept slipping out of my bun. This is not how I wanted to eat my burger. I want to enjoy a burger where I could eat my bun with the patty and toppings, not separately. Besides, who likes soggy buns? I’m pretty sure no one does. I also ordered a oreo pieces milkshake and I do have to admit that it was one of the best milkshake I every had. It was nice and creamy and I could taste the oreo pieces. I dipped the fries into the milkshake and it was surprisingly good. Their milkshake and fries is what is giving their stars. I honestly rather go to in-n-out for a burger that is cheaper and have a much better quality taste(and it was only about one-two exits away from this Five Guys location).

I always had hood experience with five guys. Their burgers are my favourite. In this place however, the quality is lower. My burger was super greasy. The peanuts are old and taste bad. I like the fries though that is why I gave it 3 stars.

«Dayum dayum dayum!» That’s always what I think about when I see a Five Guys and I sang that song in my head as I was eating my burger from the«ghetto grocery bag.» I still like In-n-Out but sometimes a Five Guys Burger and Fries kind of hits the spot. Well tonight, Five Guys was my plan B as my plan A which was Chick-Fil-A was a close-fil-a. So I figured, why not. I had a Bank of America deal, I could use some comfort food as my bf has flown back home and it’s almost the new year so let’s go out with a bang. I ordered a «mini» bacon cheeseburger which is just a normal single patty burger as their regular is a double patty. The cash register guy was awesome and had fun with me as I was trying to figure out toppings. I appreciated a good laugh. He also was kind enough to suggest a double stuffed oreo shake and it was just that. I was double stuffed with goodness. I also had the«little fries» which is little but overflowing into the bag which was oily and soaked as a good Five Guys burger does. I also took some peanuts to go. Everything was great and I was doubly stuffed! I do appreciate the all you can put on your burger toppings like the grilled onions and mushrooms! Only word to the wise is that you can’t come here if you have a peanut allergy. They cook everything in it and there’s boxes of peanuts so peanut allergens beware! It’s good to have a change of pace and the staff was fun. *Note* If you have not heard the schmoyoho song, go youtube it :)

Burgers here are legit. There are a lot of options you can choose from to put in your burgers compared to other places. Also, pair it with some crispy and well-seasoned fries for that kick. Five Guys Burgers is one of the best burgers I’ve had.

Excellent burgers and they fry things in peanut oil which is just about the healthiest oil for frying you can have. Peanut oil is not cheap so I’m very impressed.

Came here for the second time last night for dinner. I thought I would give it a second chance, and I still feel Five guys is a 3.5 star place. Let me just put this out there now, little burgers are one patty and all other burgers are 2 patties. I didn’t know, ordered the bacon cheeseburger and when I got home it was a double patty burger, not what I wanted but still good, I shared it with the dog. I ordered my burger with grilled jalapeños, lettuce, pickles, mustard and ketchup. The jalapeños were awesome! They hardly put any lettuce though, boo. The bun was soggy(that’s the worst). But the regular fries were fresh and very tasty. As far as burgers go, this place is decent, but not one of my favorites.

This review is a little late. We went here back in August right before heading over to the Luke Bryan concert at Levi Stadium. It was our first«Five Guys» experience. I’ve always loved In n out burger, but lately my co workers have been nudging me to try Five Guys. Since there was one so close to the stadium, I thought I’d give it a try since some seem to rate it better than In N Out. I ordered the little bacon cheeseburger and split some fries with my boyfriend. We also got the hot dog(cause we figured we wanted to try everything they had since we wouldn’t be back anytime soon). We currently live in Hawaii, which doesn’t have Five Guys. The bacon cheeseburger was good but had waaay too much juice coming out of it. The bun became super soggy after a minute or two. I understand that a juicy burger should have juices coming out of it, but this was too much grease dripping out — that’s why I’m deducting 1 star. The flavor was good, and the toppings were great. The guy at the register even asked if I wanted my jalapenos pan fried a little bit, which was a great suggestion! I think they should have this as an option on the regular menu(in case that guy is not working). The hot dog was surprisingly good! This place is mostly known for it’s burgers, but I think I liked the hot dog just as much. The fries were ok, nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong with them either. We also ended up having room for their shakes. So I ordered a double stuff oreo shake and my boyfriend ordered the strawberry. They were pretty good. I like that you can mix and match the flavors and also how you can add as many flavors as you want at no extra cost. Overall, great place to go if you’re craving a hot dog, burger, or milk shake.

Honestly I don’t understand the hype. Comparing this place to any other well-received burger joints like In-N-Out and the Habit, Five Guys in amazing or anything. Yes, there were free peanuts and the burgers come with 2 beef patties, but bigger doesn’t always mean it’s better. I ordered the cheese burger with onions and Cajun fries. I was sullen when my burger came out to be soggy and greasy. Especially when you take it out of the foil wrapping, it looks crushed and not appetizing at all. I will comment Five Guys for their fries because I couldn’t stop grabbing fry after fry but you can’t just have decent fries without decent burgers. You just can’t. I just can’t.

Opted for Five Guys since Chik Fil-A was closed this Sunday. Past experience were not that great, but still wanted to give this location a shot. Unfortunately, I have come to terms that the Sunnyvale and First Street locations need some serious improvement in their processes. See attached photo and tell me if I am in the wrong.

Food here is amazing. But don’t come here just for for the atmosphere here will put you in a good mood instantly! This guy calling out numbers is super fun energetic and simply will put a smile on your face. I’m truly impressed and happy!

I called to ask if they can make cheese fries with bacon. The guy said no since it was too busy. In n Out makes off menu items all the time no matter how busy. Boo Five Guys

I go through these phases where I am just downright craving milkshakes. Which can be truly unfortunate for someone with lactose intolerance: but, the suffering is worth it during the moment, I swear. Thankfully with Five Guy’s offering hand spun milkshakes with unlimited mix-ins(for 3.99!) I don’t have to travel far to get my fix(or sit in rush hour trying to get home to relieve the aftermath, if you know what I’m saying). My go to as of late is the Oreo Double stuffed Milkshake with Coffee. To die for people. Try it. I’m debating for next time adding some malted milk to make it thicker. We shall see… Especially as I see this unhealthy addiction not ending anytime soon.

This is a damn good place, love that you get Free peanuts, small Fries is like a swedish big size and their bacon cheese burger with grilled onion and pickles is delicious! I got ketchup on last time but i recommend to take it yourself because they had so much ketchup on my burger that it only taste that.

I ordered online. You pay in advance and the website shows you when your food will be ready for pickup. I just went to the restaurant and they cooked the fries when I arrived. My meal, the bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries, was incredibly filling. All in all, my food came out to be around $ 10 and it was a very delicious meal. I got here early enough to avoid the bulk of the lines and wait and bad parking. Overall, this is a great place to get burgers and fries quick. Keep in mind the bag gets a bit greasy from the fries.

I first tasted Five Guys years ago when in VA and loved it. Since then, locations have been popping up in California but rarely do the CA franchises burgers compare to the great burger I had in Dulles Airport. Fast forward to last week and I had a really great tasting burger with great service. First, the order. There are a ton of menu items to order, check out their web site. If you order«all the way» you get their most popular menu items but can add any of the extra toppings as well. Any combination or quantity of toppings is included in the price of the burger. Toppings included all the regular standard burger toppings and also grilled mushrooms, green peppers, jalapenos, hot sauce, bbq sauce, relish, pickles, etc. One patty is a little burger and 2 patties is a regular burger. The single patty is plenty for me. The fries are hand cut and fried twice-I always order them sans salt although their Cajun seasoning for the fries is very popular. So we walk up to the register and come to find out the man who took our order was THEOWNERJIM– how nice! He offered me something I never had on my burger at a 5 guys location, nor have I seen on the menu, but something I will order from now on… GRILLEDJALAPENOS. I was so intrigued when he asked me if I wanted my jalapenos grilled which normally just come raw sliced, that I ordered the jalapenos both ways which was a great choice. Jim forewarned me that it would be spicy but I was up for the challenge and actually I couldn’t even taste the heat, but I did taste the flavor, they must have been mild jalapenos. Service was excellent, even though they were busy during a weekday lunch hour, our order came out efficiently and in a timely manner.

I love this place! The food is yummy and the service is great. Unlike the location in Burlingame, they strive for great customer service here. I am a regular and will continue to come here for my burger cravings. There are also other food choices and outdoor seating if you crave Five Guys but the rest of your party wants something different.

I may be biased from the wonders of the small business burger joints in Oakland, but I feel that this place lacks in luster. However it might have something to do with why I was down in San Jose. I was in San Jose on a first date. We had been talking online, but chose to meet up after a few days. We hung out a little before at a park, then we talked about being hungry. He mentioned what was around and Five Guys came up. I said I had never been which prompted our choice to go. My date warned that it wasn’t the best burger place, but they had these cajun fries that he wanted to show me since I told him I am Creole/Cajun. The menu was pretty stright forward: pick and choose your toppings, if you say«everything,» then it’s limited to the ingredients in black. I got«everything» without the mushrooms. My date got some peanuts to munch on. I personally don’t like eating just peanuts. I suffer from a food aversion that surfaced years ago when I was younger. The burgers were well done and not as flavorful as I would like. I wish I would have known that it was a double patty because I personally am not a fan of a much of ground beef on a burger. I like a balance of ingredients, which this burger did not have. The cajun fries were not really cajun, but salted down with a cajun seasoning. FYI, this does not make something«Cajun.» Overall, I was unimpressed by Five Guys and my first and last date with the dude.
