Fast Drying Carpet Cleaning

Made an appointment just one day in advance and Hugo showed up right on time with all the equipment ready to go. Needed carpets cleaned in a condo unit far from the street, so had to find someone with a portable cleaner and I’m very happy with Fast Drying Carpet Cleaning. Fast, friendly, on-​time, and the carpet looks great… what more could I ask for?

Fast forward almost 3 years later, I figured why re-​invent the wheel right? Since Hugo did an excellent job for me in the past, I figured I’d give him a call again. I know, who wants to read a review for a carpet cleaning business right? Don’t kid yourselves! Some of us still have area rugs, or carpet in at least 1 room! That said, you have to eventually get them steamed or cleaned! If not, that is just straight up NASTY!
I knew I was pressing my luck by calling the same week I needed service, but you’ll never know until you ask. When Hugo answered the phone, I didn’t expect him to remember me, but I did mention that I’ve used him in the past. He requested that I text him my address. I still had his number saved, so I was able to text him immediately after our call. He responded within minutes asking, «Is this Robert H.?» I responded affirmatively. Right then we were able to establish that I was a repeat customer. Did that help? It sure did! He actually moved a few things around to squeeze me in.

Results: Amazing! Spots disappeared, colors were revived, and it smelled like I threw it in the washer!
I’ll admit that my area rug wasn’t filthy, but it did have a handful of spots here and there that I couldn’t get rid of with regular carpet cleaning sprays.
Side note:
If your carpet hasn’t been steamed in a year or so, don’t be cheap! Buck up and call Hugo! Get a couple quotes first, he will work with you.

Hugo is a nice person to work with. He is very kind and professional. Very responsive with phone calls and text messages. He helped us to do a move out cleaning. Our landlord recommended him, saying as long as we have a receipt from Hugo, then it means the carpet is clean and ready for checking out.
We also hired him to clean up carpet at our new home. Again, easy appointment, job professionally done, and very reasonable charges. He does use some chemicals, young kids shouldn’t be around when the work is being done.
Highly recommend.

Spoke to Hugo, he came over exactly on time. Cleaned up my stair carpets and they look so fresh and new now! He did an incredible job and I’d definitely be looking to him for future carpet cleaning services.

I called in for a same day cleaning. Hugo said he’d check on the schedule and call me back in 30mins. He sure did and scheduled an afternoon cleaning. The cleaning crew was very professional and examined the carpet in detail. Hugo was upfront on some of the stains and the possibility of not able to completely. An hour and a half later all the stains were gone! The carpet was completely and spotlessly clean and I was very happy with the overall process.

Hugo was great! I sent him an email to get an estimate and he wrote back the same day. Scheduling the appointment was super easy. He came out and took a look at the stains on my carpet and told me of my options. He didn’t push me to go with the more expensive service. After I decided to continue with the steam cleaning — he got his stuff ready and went to work.
The apartment looks great and he was really friendly. I’ve got no complaints and would recommend him wholeheartedly.
I’ll def be calling again to get the deep cleaning though to get rid of all my cats hair!

Hugo did a great job cleaning our carpet. Our stains were gone, he was quick and efficient and our carpet dried pretty fast.

The cleaners did a thorough job and my carpet looks as good as new. I was surprised they were able to get it that clean since I was considering replacing the carpet since it had become quite dirty.

Hugo cleaned my carpets today and they looked brand new after! The previous carpet cleaning I had done never looked this good! He was prompt and genuine. He didn’t give me the bait and switch like others have done in the past. I felt his bid for the job was way too low (25−45% under my other bids). I gave paid him a 30% tip because I felt he was worth it. I will call him for all my future carpet cleanings. Nice guy.

Hugo is fast, friendly, and my apartment was back to day 1 in just a few hours. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Cleaning tough stains won’t be a problem. Deep cleaning only took 1.5hr in a 950sq foot apartment.

We have three cats and a dog who recently decided to «take liberties» with our family room carpet. Yuck. Double yuck.
Hugo answered immediately when I called, and scheduled his visit at a time that worked perfectly for us. Hugo was early the day of service, and the whole process was very smooth. Our carpet looks wonderful.
I plan to ask Mr. Castillo back to handle more carpet cleaning, window cleaning, painting, and additional work. Hugo takes special care with his intelligent marketing, which, as a marketer, I really appreciated.

I Drying Carpet Cleaning for 2 bdrms, hallway, and living room for their advertised price pf $ 75. This was competive since others were quoting $ 120 for the same job. Hugo arrived with a smile and was professional from beginning to end. He first viewed the area he would be working, agreed to the advertised price (based on my carpet condition), and then brought in his equipment. The job was done in less than an hour. I was impressed with how dry it was since; I watched Hugo in the process of performing the carpet cleaning. When he was done, he said as a repeat customer he would deduct 10% next time. I will certainly use Hugo and his service again when its needed. I would also recommend his service for carpet cleaning to anyone that needs his service.

Our Lil GiGi Monster recently had an accident on the carpet, so we found Fast Drying Carpet Cleaning on Unilocal to come out the following day for a carpet cleaning. I called two other places and the time frame with Hugo worked out perfectly with my work schedule.
Since our place is on the 4^th floor, Hugo could not use his usual hose from his truck, but instead he was able to put together his portable unit to accommodate us. He did a great job as he sprayed every corner of our place before he started using the machine. He even doubled up on the dirty spots and was very careful vacuuming around the various electronic appliances around the house. The job did not take that long and the carpet was dry in 2 hours flat… That is insane as I have used the Rug Doctor before and it takes anywhere from 6 – 8 hours to dry.
I would highly recommend Hugo as his starting base price is like $ 50 – 60 and it goes up based on how big your place is and how many rooms you are trying to do. Hugo is very professional and I would highly recommend him to anybody trying to get the carpets cleaned!

At the end of the day here, the ball was in Hugo’s court and he dropped it. He was already granted permission to perform the cleaning, contrary to what he indicates below. He already knew the address contrary to what he indicates below.
(how else would he have shown up at the correct address at 4pm, guessing random addresses in San Jose? Don’t think so.)
He even goes so far as to say «if you were so desperate for my services you would have called me back». That’s a legitimate quote from this business owner. I trusted him on his word, and he screwed up 2 days in a row, multiple times each day.
From reading other reviews, it sounds like if you catch him on a good day, the service is a good value. That unfortunately was not my experience, and after posting my experience to Unilocal I was harassed multiple times in text messages following this ordeal.
So be prepared, and know what you’re getting into.

Hugo did a great job, my wife was happy, so it must have been good since she is very picky.
I reduced 1 star for the price increase after arrival. We agreed on one price but he said living room is too big, and charged $ 15 more. I’m OK with this since he did a good job otherwise.

I hired Fast Drying CC to fix the carpets that LV Carpet Cleaning had done on ⁶⁄₁₉. LV Carpet Care is by far the WORST service I have ever hired.
I called Hugo from Fast Drying on ⁶⁄₂₀ and he was in my home in less than an hour. He immediately identified what LV had done wrong without me having to tell him.
He explained the process and got work right away. I thought he would have to come back due to the short notice.
My entire apartment was done fast and within a few hours the carpets were dry, soft, and smelling great!
The other service had left my carpet rough, crunchy, and soaked.
