Terrible service. I purchased groupon deal for microdermabrasion service. I made an appointment one week in advance and I was there on time. The lady told me I am not qualified to do the treatment and wanted me to return the groupon deal because my face was a bit pink and disqualified, but I was just got out of my car after driving 16 miles and it was 80s degrees outside. I was sweaty. When I was filling out the information, she only wanna talk about sunscreen the whole time and nothing else. Those knowledge she knows, I have already known many many years ago. After she knew I know everything she knows, she just asked me to leave and ask me to return the deal from groupon. I took half day off from work just for the treatment and I drove 16 miles all the way there to just listen to her talking about old knowledge stuff. I purchased my sunscreen from dermatologist. she just told me everything I use is not good enough. She is not a dermatologist nor a doctor. she just wanna talk about the sunscreen. I really don’t know what the purpose was. this is the worse experience ever. When I called groupon for refund, they agreed right away so I realized, I am not the only one who had the bad experience. Must be many people complained about it already so groupon is tired of dealing with it. If you wanna purchase the service from this lady, think about it twice.
Did you noticed, very few people clicked useful on those 5 stars reviews, instead, many ppl clicked «useful» on those bad reviews?

I haven’t been one to get facials or anything done to my face outside of the instructions given to me by my dermatologist. For the past year his meds were no longer working for me and blackheads took over my cheeks. I was very conscious of my face when I went in public, because when I applied makeup my skin looked like rice pudding. Many fine bumps. i have tried every home remedy, get steam for extractions (which left marks) etc…
I saw the hydrafacial on tv and decided to Unilocal it! Well, I can honestly say Laurie went above and beyond. When you go to her, it’s more than just getting a «treatment» You get the full service of a true esthetician. She care to understand your skin and your needs.
After my hydrafacial treatment, by the 2^nd day I saw results! Less bumps, smooth skin and some acne scars faded. this is all after 1 session with her. I will definitely aim to see her monthly for my face. You will not be disappointed.

Laurie is the owner, she is super sweet. I met her about a 1 year ago and have been coming to her since, my sisters also go to Laurie. She defiantly makes you feel beautiful and has a lot of knowledge about skin, we had acne and I cannot believe I went so long with acne before meeting Laurie. Wish I had met her sooner, I have had the Hydra facial which i recommend, and I go to her regularly to restock on products (skin care & makeup).

Can I say Laurie is an amazing person?! She’s very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to your skin. I visited her 5 times so far. She never disappoints me. What I like best about her is that she gives out complimentary samples for your skin to test out. After visiting her my skin started improving a lot better. She always remind her clients to always wear sun screen! I definitely agree. I would recommend anyone who has very bad skin to give Laurie a try. She will definitely educate you and help your skin be where it needs to be. She’s the sweetest.

Laurie is highly skilled, knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything about my skin and how to protect it. She herself is a great testament to great skin care. I gained so much knowledge on a smart skin care regimen moving forward. The private skin care studio was wonderful! I just moved here from San Diego and was in search of a great aesthetician and I got exactly that. My search is over, I found the most perfect skin care expert that I trust. Now about my skin, I came out glowing and confident. I went in needing my skin to be rejuvenated, Laurie did that and then some! Fantastic results!

I went in for a Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion Facial. Unlike one of the reviewers I found Laurie very nice and welcoming. Although I had a Groupon for the service she was very nice. However the facial itself only lasted about 15 minutes. Most of the time was spent going over a questionnaire. Although education is important the time spent on the actual treatment should be longer say 45 minutes on the treatment and 15 on education. At least that is how my other facials have been spread out. Laurie uses latex gloves during the entire treatment I have never experienced that with other facials maybe it was because of the diamond tip machine? I left her place reeking of latex. Another reviewer says she doesn’t accept tips. This is not a true statement she took mine without any hesitation. I probably should not have tipped but I just always do. After reading the reviews it appears she may have preferential treatment for her regulars. I would not return. Minus stars for the latex gloves and 15 minute facial. I talked to other people estheticians and they have never heard of facials being done with gloves. No gloves are used on the state exam

I have been meaning to write this review for the last 9 months. I first came to Laurie after I moved to San Jose. I had so many complaints about my face and my skin and was stressed about being in a new place. I called her after reading her Unilocal reviews to get an idea of what she would recommend for me.
I wound up getting a light peel and let me tell you, my skin was glowing. I stopped wearing makeup for a while because my skin looked so great! I didn’t get a zit for 3 – 4 months and thought I was invincible. I then started trying new treatments with Laurie. We did Microdermabraision and the Hydro Massage. I also tried Micro Needling. My face had never looked better! It was all terrific but my skin is so sensitive I decided to go back to the light Chem peel to keep the acne away. :)
Laurie is so easy to trust. I’ve only known her for 9 months now but I trust her more than my hair dresser that I’ve been going to for 10 years. I could give up every other beauty treatment in my life but not Laurie. She is a diamond in the rough and one of my favorite people in San Jose.
I’m blown away by «Ming Z» and her review. Laurie is wonderful and makes me feel at home. She doesn’t let me waste my money and she doesn’t let people tip her even though she deserves 50%. She works with my budget and has really helped my face. I tell her my problems and she fixes them! Usually for much cheaper than my other solutions! She also got me to stop tanning and to start getting spray tans! I’m so thankful for that. She always gives me random health tips and tricks to remove hair and cellulite. I feel like she always looks out for my best interests and in San Jose that’s very rare to find.
I keep telling her I’m going to get a standing appointment with her haha — it’s first on my to-​do list with my new raise. I’ve also been meaning to bring my mom and boyfriend here although I don’t really want to share her! Thanks for being wonderful Laurie! I’ll be back in a month and a half! :)

Worst experience ever!!! Laurie’s attitude was weird and awkward. Please don’t go here. Not a nice person.

I found Laurie through Groupon and will be back as soon as I can. She is not about a spa /​high-​maintenance experience; she is all about **treatment**. And it is awesome. And she will tell you what you can do on your own … which makes me trust her and want to go back to let her do her thing. My face felt supple and transformed for over a week after treatment. She is the real deal and I’m chomping on the bit to go back.

I bought a groupon. Some people treat you like a second class citizen when you show up for the groupon service. Not Laurie. She was super professional and nice and VERY passionate and knowledgeable about skin care and skin in general. I can’t wait to go back, she was awesome. I debated about writing a review because I don’t want her to get too busy but people like her deserve the accolades, she’s awesome!

First of all Laurie was very sweet and knowledgeable, I felt very comfortable with her being my first visit, I am going to be a long term client. She rescheduled me twice but, I will say this I don’t regret one bit her doing this she was awesome!!! My face feels great!

I had an appointment last week and right after i seen a differance. Im really glad i found this place its so much cheaper since she ownes her machines. Oh and the make up!!! Ever since she put some on me i cant bring myself to put on the heavy M.A.C make up i usually wear i want to really start taking care of my skin. So 5 stars to you Eternal Glow Aesthetics: D

I’m in my mid 20’s and want to start taking way better care of my skin, so Unilocaling I came across Laurie. I was not too sure what facial to get and she was throughly informative! She explains the process very clearly and my facial was awesome! She has great service and made me feel very comfortable. I will be coming back to her for my following facials.

It was around 11 in the morning when I called several microdermabrasion places in Unilocal and none of them answered or called me back but Laurie. She was very nice and very accomodating on the phone with a little bit of preconsultation about your skin and your procedure. I wasn’t sure yet when to have it done but she told me that I could simply txt her back when decided.
I have a little bit deeper pit marks from my acne/​pimples over the years since Ive had it when I was in grade 5, 13 years ago. Ive tried almost everything but got really disappointed. So I decided to go directly to someone who can do it for me. i searched for someone who knows better and trully understands the situation about my skin problem. And Laurie (who responded first to my calls) was the ONE.
On the day of my microdermabrasion, Laurie was very informative and gave me lots of Facts about my skin, her skin, and our skin. What to expect, How it works, Why you needed or not. You can ask her anything and she will be happy to tell you what you really need to know. She cleansed my face and did the microdermabrasion, gently and smoothly. I didnt experience pain or discomfort at all. After that, she even applied light make up on my face that came out really nice natural.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Very good experience. Thank you Laurie.

Had the microdermabrasion session. Laurie is friendly and very knowledgeable. I liked how she was very strict about wearing sunblock. She also used a special light to show me the sun damage on my skin. I would definitely come back for more services. Btw yes, it’s located in home/​residential area, kind of threw me off when I first came. I thought I was lost, but nope the address is accurate.

I had my microdermabrasion days ago and I love the way my skin looks and feels; Laurie explain to me how to clean and protect my skin «Never go out with out sun block“I promise I don’t do it any more. She made my day cause I was looking for a good make up and she has for sale one is perfect for me and looks great wow just love it! (she give me free examples to try at home) I just got a peeling on my back and I am pretty sure I came back for more than one for my face. I am so lucky I found Laurie and is for sure I be her loyal costumer. Thanks Laurie!!!

Had a great facial session (chem peel) with Laurie. She is extremely educated in medical aesthetics. She is warm and funny, and makes you feel comfortable in knowing you are receiving the treatment you need. She has just gained a long term client in me. My face is glowing after one treatment!
I am so happy with Laurie’s services, coming from someone who has been to several aestheticians in the South Bay.

Eternal Glow Aesthetics is a humble spa built in Laurie’s home. Laurie is the esthetician (…owner, manager, creator, everyone in one!). It’s kept cozy and clean. She offers many services, and it would benefit you to look into all of them. She’s lively, energetic, and incredibly enthusiastic about what she does. Although she may sometimes be a product junkie herself, she is definitely never a product imposer on others! The only thing that she forces on you is sunscreen. Thank her for it though, because sunscreen is so important but generally neglected.
I go to her for the hydrofacial and microdermabrasion combo. This procedure is usually an hour long, and feels like she’s hyper-​vacuuming all of your dead skin cells off of your face. It’s interesting, and in it’s own weird way – fun. Again, try it.
Of all my favorite services/​products from Laurie, it’s got to be her Blinc mascara. It’s a magical product of chemistry, I tell you. The best mascara I’ve ever purchased.
Anyway, there isn’t anything negative to say about Laurie and her establishment. Eternal Glow Aesthetics is a lovely little shop.

Laurie is professional, knowledgeable and very passionate at what she does. Her advice is right on. She has reasonable prices unlike other places I have been to! I had two chemical peels so far and have seen great results.

I have to agree with all the other reviewers — Laurie is fantastic! Facial was well-​done and very effective. Laurie is extremely knowledgeable about the skincare industry and up-​to-​date on the latest products/​treatments available.
I will be recommending Laurie to everyone I know and I will be back to see her in six weeks for another facial.
