Environmentally Safe Products and Procedures

We put Calcutta Oro Marble on our kitchen counters and it is stunning. We were so nervous about the beautiful marble being ruined by stains and etching. We looked at several different sealing applications and someone suggested Dave the Marble Guy. We called Dave at ESP. He came out and gave us a bid for TuffSkin. He gave us options, suggestions, advise and explained the process etc,. We decided to try it and are so happy with the results. It has been one year since Dave installed the Tuffskin and our counter tops still look like new. It is so wonderful, nothing stains our counter tops! No red wine stains and no etching! We love it so much that we had a custom marble table made for our new banquette area. Today Dave and his team applied TuffSkin to the table and you can’t even tell that it is there! The customer service is exemplary! It is refreshing to have someone show up on time and do what they say they are going to do. Next… Tuffskin on our new bathroom counters! Dave, the owner, provided me with a very detailed estimate so I could pick and choose the marble tile restoration of my showier and bathroom floor. This is not common in the contractor world. The crew did an amazing job with grout replacement, drain weeping repair and restoration of the marble tile to a beautiful shine. The team was very professional and did not leave without totally cleaning up the residue. I would definitely recommend them.

David and his crew installed marble tiles for our bathroom remodel 8 years ago. They did a perfect job in every way. The bathroom still looks new even though it’s been used heavily over the years. No issues whatsoever. I highly recommend Dave and his crew. I’d call him again for any tile/​stone job as I know that the job would be done right and that I would not have issues down the road.

They are really great! Dave came out and gave a quote for sealing all our tiles and stone. They did an exceptional job and warranty their work 10+years, no questions asked, and really do stand behind their work. Dave is very knowledgeable, honest and explains everything thoroughly. In fact, I had a stain on a marble counter top and he came by and fixed it at no charge! He truly will not rest until the customer is happy. He also supplies cleaning products if you want them.

Dave came out to do the estimate. He explained everything we needed to do and pointed out things I hadn’t noticed (especially living with it for a few years) and everything now looks like new!
These guys are great. I had a three day job — mostly deferred maintenance but some tile replacement, etc. So efficient and explained everything they were doing. I had the awesome team of Andrew and Ramon, they did a great job. My bathroom marble was stained and scratched. They got EVERY mark/​imperfection out and now it looks like new ! I would definitely recommend them. Dave and his team do amazing work — not the least expensive mind you, but a warranty like no other… so if you are debating — don’t. These guys are GREAT !!!
Just a heads up: if they try to sell you product, be sure they get the order right. I ordered one bottle of cleaner from Rhonda and they sent an additional sealer product I did not ask for… haven’t heard back but they charged my card… an oversight probably but just to be aware. :)

We contacted David to help us get rid of a foul odor that was coming from our granite counter top, which we had attempted to remove for over 2 days. David was very knowledgable, helpful and knew exactly what to do. After one treatment the odor was gone. Great job, thank you David for solving our problem.

although i haven’t gotten any work done yet (is scheduled to get work done), i’ve been very happy with their professionalism and courtesy.

I hired David and the people at ESPP during the remodel of my master bathroom, laundry room, and guest bathroom. At the beginning of the project David helped me in the selection of the materials, and we went with porcelain tile for the floors and tub & shower surrounds. For the shower pan, we went with river rock, and for the bath tub with went with cast iron, as David explained that cast iron is the best for the life of the tile. David even helped me in the selection of my counter top material and vessel sink. He also taught me the importance of proper sealing of rock & how to select porcelain that isn’t slippery. He made sure the slope of the shower pan was correct, and came out to my home to look at the job after his men did the work with each project. ALL of his workers are friendly, prompt, and great communicators. They helped to create a beautiful bathroom environment.
I could go on and on about the rest of the details about the project, but I won’t write a novel. I’ll just summarize by saying that David really knows his stuff. He has been around for a long time and knows the kinds of materials that fail over time and what installation methods last the longest. He will not do the job unless it’s done the right way. David is also concerned about mold growth in the home; he was always telling me ways to avoid it. He also will make sure that you know how to take care of your home, i.e. clean and care for your surfaces. He also sells products that can help with the cleaning, and the products are all environmentally friendly and really do work.
David’s office assistant is incredibly knowledgeable. Communication through the office is excellent, especially through e-​mails. The pricing is excellent for the quality of work being done. I felt safe knowing that he has been in the business for so long and is a leader in the field of marble and tile.
Let me say one more, quick thing. While this project had delays due to materials not being ready at the tile shop, David’s tiler Erick came to my home on a Sunday to finish the job. I told him to not worry about it and do finish up on a weekday so he could be with his family. Well, I was really glad he came that Sunday because less than 12 hours later my 4^th child was born.

I recently moved into a beautiful new home with a large granite island and counter. The only problem was that the finish/​sealant on the granite had an uneven appearance and was easily stained by contact with anything oily.
ESP (Brandon) was very attentive to concerns/​goals. He had excellent ideas and did a great job of honing and sealing the granite.
They accommodated my schedule and went above and beyond the call.
I highly recommend ESP and will continue to work with them for future needs in maintaining my granite.

I can only say this is the most professional outfit I have dealt with ever. They came to my restaurant, Smoking Pig BBQ, and thoroughly cleaned the front end and kitchen areas from top to bottom then repaired all the tile that needed repairing. All in a quick and efficient manner and all at a reasonable price. Dave is great to work with.

Today I met with Dave about an indoor Saltillo tile refinishing job. Dave is a treasure chest of information regarding how and how not to approach tile work — especially finicky tile such as Saltillo. His candor, humor, and honesty about the process was sweetly refreshing. I’m currently deciding the approach I will be taking — but I wanted to write this review because it is rare to get so much insider knowledge and insight from someone in the trade during a bid process. Much appreciated.

Had my limestone kitchen counters refinished. ESP did a terrific job of advising me on how to get them finished (honed vs. polished), doing the actual work, and advice on maintaining them.
