Did a stop and chat early on with Emmi prior to getting our loan. Friendly, amiable, and definitely detail oriented. When the time came to get our loan started she phoned us at home after hours and walked us through the process step by step. When our online loan tracker didn’t work after repeated tries, she triaged the problem and never lost her cool – eventually we got in and got the process going. Not going to lie: the documents to gather and sign were tedious and, frankly, a nightmare (some forms were sent in 4 – 5 separate times because a box wasn’t checked or an address wasn’t written legibly enough, etc.), but in all due fairness Emmi’s fastidiousness paid off as we closed escrow 1 month exactly and a day (our plan was 1 month) as she texted us within minutes of sending forms so we were always ahead of the curve. Have heard many nightmare stories about loan agents dropping the ball. Emmi will expedite your loan to completion.

Where do I begin… I have been a Wells Fargo customer for almost 10 years now and it only made sense to me to obtain my mortgage through them. Throughout the whole process, Emmi and our real estate agent (Oleg Minzu) were awesome. We went into contract on our first home in Antelope, CA in mid-​June and closed on July 31.
While I have to admit the whole process seemed daunting and stressful at times, Emmi kept encouraging me to hang in there and made sure that the documents the Underwriters needed got to them on time. She was very thorough in making sure all the necessary documents were in order.
She was knowledgeable and professional. Was available when I had questions and was quick to respond by email and via telephone. Even though she was across the street at the Wells Fargo Downtown, we were able to process all our documents via email, docusign, phone etc. That was definitely a plus since my husband was out of town for most of that time.
I was impressed with the coordinated effort made on her part in ensuring that we closed on time and am very grateful. She has made our dream of owning a home a reality and I would highly recommend her to anyone else interested in purchasing a home.

We initially went to Emmi to see if we would qualify for a home loan with the intent of eventually applying for the City of Sunnyvale BMR (Below Market Rate) housing program. When we found out that we were in fact ineligible for the BMR program since we were slightly over the income max limit, we thought our only opportunity to own property in the Bay Area was lost and we were going to scrap the pre qualification process we had started. However, Emmi encouraged us to look beyond the BMR program to see what other opportunities were out there and we decided to push through with the loan application. We were shocked that within a few weeks of that conversation with Emmi, we were in contract to purchase a townhouse in San Jose! We ran into some major challenges with the loan process due to delays with needed maternity leave documents from the state and other issues but Emmi, her associate, Trinh Cao, and our agent, William Tran helped us navigate through the complications. Thanks to them, we closed escrow last week! We wouldn’t have even considered buying a home outside the Sunnyvale BMR program without Emmi’s insight and financial advice.
