I wish I can give this place a zero! Worse body shop in town. Here is the situation. I had got my bumper done from a different shop and was not satisfied so I brought it here. The Owner Huey said that he will fix everything and paint for a reasonable price and would only take a week. One week in, I give him a call he states that there is sill a crack on the bumper and he want to repair it and would take 2 days I said fine what ever we agreed on just take care of the problem. Two days later I called him again he said that the bumper is almost done and it will be ready tomorrow. In my head ok thats fine hes taking his time. The story kept going and got my car back 2 weeks later. I told him that ill be there at 6pm to pick up the car .Soon as I got there they where bearly assembling my car together and did not finish until 1hr later. I took the car home and the next day I realized that there was over spray everywhere and the work he did looks like he just painted over the crack part of the bumper. I had brought it back and we he agreed that he would take care of the problem and would be ready in a couple of days. Guess what it was extended for two more days. When I finally got to pick up my car again it looks like nothing was done and he claims that he cant do nothing about it and fitment of the bumper was just way off and he kept saying he does not have time and kept blaming that the fitment on the bumper and driver side was not fitting right and made it seem like it was my fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DOES NOT MEET HIS DEADLINE AND FULL OF LIES! If I where you id take my money somewhere else.

Huy did an awesome job repairing and repainting my rear bumper. He gave me an awesome price considering I had to pay out of my pocket and the work he did looks like nothing ever happened. Not only did he help me with the car I took in, he gave me some useful advice on my other car that I just got from the dealership and even helped me put air on all my tires because I was running low!
From the get-​go, I felt really secure about doing business with Huy because although any business wants to make a profit, he genuinely felt like he wanted to help!

The shop is named after their son, Eddie. I had to get some work done on my front bumper and after shopping around Eddie’s original estimate beat the others (slightly). His work was top-​notch and he did his best to return my car at the earliest since I had to get a rental car. Compared to the most expensive estimate, I got — Eddie’s was about half the price (granted, I chose non-​original parts) and half the time to fix the car as well. They went above and beyond the call of duty and cleaned the car and did some other touch-​ups as well.
I hope I never have to take my car in for body work again, but if I do, it will be with Eddie.

I finally had the opportunity to get the fender replaced on my car. My father was able to locate a fender on Ebay and also found a rear spoiler from the junkyard to update the look of my car. My dad said installing the rear spoiler on my car would be too difficult to install himself because holes must be drilled in very precise locations. So I took the parts to Eddie and they gave me a very reasonable estimate installing and painting my fender as well as installing a three piece rear spoiler. In addition, they said they would fix a couple of dings on the fender and rusty areas where the fender gets mounted to the front bumper. The newly painted fender looks great and the rear spoiler fit perfectly. Le informed me that the paint job comes with a lifetime warranty and they use high quality German paint. This is nice to know. If you want quality work at reasonable prices, I don’t think you can find a shop more qualified than Eddie Auto Body. BTW. Their son Eddie is pretty cute. :-)

I needed the rear bumper for my 2006 Honda Civic to be repainted. The work they have done was very good. I could not see any orange peel in the paint and they color matched the bumper to the rest of the body perfectly. This shop uses Glasurit, a high end German paint for the clear coat. The paint job comes with a lifetime warranty against fading and peeling so you can be assured of the quality of the prep work. As it is the preparation of the body that is very important when ensuring lasting adhesion of the paint to the body as well as the appearance of the paint job itself.
Huy and Lee are both very nice people, and I get the sense they are honest and really want to do a good job for their customers. I will be recommending this shop to all my friends.

It’s been a year an a half since my last visit here and the service and more importantly quality here is still top tier.
It takes a lot of effort to keep a car looking as good as when you first roll it off the dealer’s lot. In spite of my efforts somehow my front bumper was bumped and I ended up with a gash down to the primer the size of a pack of gum. I tried OEM touchup paint and it didn’t match perfectly because the paint on the car had aged. So now I had a blotch that was semi-​noticeable and this contradicted with my goals of keeping it looking good.
I call up Huy and let him know that I wanted a respray and that I needed an appointment. He fit me in the next day. I drop my car off and just like last time he arranged for a rental and life goes on. I pick up my car the next day and take it home. Later that night during my anal retentive car guy inspection routine I noticed some rough spots in the air dams and called him up about it and he said he would fix it the next day. True to his word when I showed up he got right on it cleaned the area, and then sanded it with 3000 grit and then hand polished until I was *totally* satisfied.
End result: this is a quality job, one a car guy like me appreciates and can honestly recommend.

This is the best auto body shop that I know of in San Jose. They are very detail oriented and they always think about the best interest of the customer. It is always a fair price.

Since Eddie’s Auto Body opened up a few years ago, I’ve been a returning customer and even referred family members and friends. Why? Aside from the top-​notch quality work for very reasonable price this auto body delivers every time and on time as scheduled, Huy and his wife that run this business are really good, honest people. Huy is the skilled and detail-​oriented craftsmanship behind this business, and his wife (Le) is the administrator in handling the front-​end of this business. When you talk to them in person, you can sense how much they care to help out whatever they can to make your experience as worry-​free as possible. They do take the time out to answer all your questions and explained clearly for your understanding.
I recently went to them because of a hit-​and-​run incident on the rear bumper of my car in a parking lot. It really sucks that people can back into your car, damage it and simply take off without a care. Anyways, this is the first time I have to open up an auto claim since probably over 10 years ago. After I had my car inspected by my insurance claim agent, I took it to Eddie’s Auto Body. Huy and Le assured me they will handle everything with my insurance claim and that the rear bumper of my car will look as good as new. Le kept me informed on a daily basis about the claim payment approval until the bumper replacement arrived, to minimize the number of days my car needed to be in the auto body.
When I dropped my car off almost a week after I first opened the claim, one of Huy’s staff member was kind enough to drive me home. As promised, my car was done the very next day and Huy even took the time to wash and clean up my car to look presentable and very nice with the new bumper. The quality paint job he did on the rear bumper was so clean and smooth, I was truly amazed! It is very rare to find a great auto body shop that is willing to work with you every step of the way and in such caring and honest manner as the good people at Eddie’s Auto Body. If you’re shopping around for such an auto body, no doubt would I hesitate not to recommend you go see Huy… you might even want to send me a small «thank you» gift for this recommendation (oh, I really love coconut maccaroons!). ;-P

While searching through craigslist, I narrowed my search down to a few autobody places. I had my car damaged along the rear panel. Huy the owner promissed a factory product and quick turn around time. He showed me a few example of his work and convinced me to give him my business. He assured me once the repairs were completed that I would be pleased. I soon realized that he overpromissed and underlivered. His shop kept delaying the pickup of my vehicle and it ended up being on the shop longer than promised. He explained that they had too many jobs before mine that needed to be completed. Once i pickuped the car, there were drip marks that needed to be fixed and dust in the paint. My interior was left dust laden from the sanding. It took alot of talking back and forth to get things done right. I guest the old saying is true about buyer beware.

I went here because of the great reviews, and because I only wanted the best for my car. When I arrived for a free estimate Le was very nice and helpful, and she gave me a price much lower than other places so I decided to go with them (this was to repair my bumper).
They said it would be a few days to have my bumper fixed, and they gave me an approximate time, which was fine, except they never called to update me about it. I called at least 3 – 4 times asking for new updates, and the day my car was to be ready got pushed back another day. When I got there I waited another hour for them to finish still. I was fine with it as I’m pretty patient, but they didn’t do a very good job.
There was still noticeable damage to my car and they didn’f buff out parts they said they would. Then Huy told me there was additional damage under the bumper (which I think he should have told me earlier and called me about it, instead of waiting for me to get there), but he said he would order the part and put it on.
SO, I had to bring my car back a second time. Again, my car was delayed 2 days and I had to call again and again asking for a time. When I got there again they did a beautiful job, my bumper looked new.
EXCEPT, I found a fat scratch on my car that wasn’t there before. Huy touched it up a little when I was there but you could still notice it. Now this is why I gave them 2 stars: when I asked about the scratch he started to argue with me. He told me that he had already replaced the breaker under my car for free (not really, he should have told me about it in the first place which he didn’t), and that it was nothing. I told him it might be nothing to him, but it’s something to me on a brand new car, and they were the ones who scratched it they need to fix it. After what felt like pulling teeth he finally agreed to paint it over. So, I left STILL without my car, and it’s supposed to be done today. We will see how it goes.

I’m very glad that I found Eddie’s Auto Body on Craigslist! When our Corolla was rear ended pretty badly, the repair estimates given by other shops were outrageous. That is why when I called Huy, I thought his estimate was a joke and I was a bit skeptical.
But having nothing too lose, I took the car in to check and they lived up to their outstanding reputation! I was amazed at how thorough and caring they were about all our needs, breaking down every detail to us and even negotiating with our insurance company for the coverage. The car repair was top notch and done very quickly. 1 year down the line, they even contacted us to make sure everything was OK with the DMV with our car.
There’s a reason why they’re rated so highly on here. I definitely recommend them to anybody who needs auto body repairs. Thanks for the exceptional service!

Huy and Phoung really took ownership in my repair. When i got my car back the alignment was a bit off, I took it back and they fixed it no problem. Also if i feel the car needs to be re-​aligned in the next couple months i can just bring it back in. I’d come back for sure.

I was looking for a place to get my custom grill painted for my 08 yaris sedan. I was debating about doing it myself but I didn’t want to deal with orange peal and all the work. So after checking on craigslist and calling a few places most estimates were well over 100 dollars. Which i had no problem paying i just wanted to make sure i got a professional job. After finding these guys i sent them a email. He gave me a estimate of 50 bucks to prep primer, paint, and clear. I thought he was joking so i figured i would give them a shot. Once i got my grill back i think the paint job on the grill was a better paint job than my factory paint it was that good.
If you are looking for someone to do a good job and for a really affordable price i would give these guys a try. I plan to have my other vehicle repainted and when im ready i will definitely give these guys my continued business.

I didnt believe the estimate when i emailed them some pictures of the bumper/​quarter panel work needed on my 8 year old camry. I went and checked out the place and they seemed pretty decent. So I thought I’ll give it a shot by having them repair my car.
Now here’s the comparison. I got estimates from various shops including Andersen Behl, B2 (Sunnyvale), Active Auto body, Da Les and their rate was almost one third (¹⁄₃) of all these shops and even better in some cases. They fixed my car in 4 days (including weekends), whereas the others quoted 3 weeks of work
Finally, when the car was done, i was surprised to see the quality of work. not a single point where I could say the paint was off or the shine was less. I dont know how they did it, but they actually matched the color of the 8 year old car to the best perfection. I mean considering the faint in 8 years, its difficult even with the color code from the manufacturer and the quarter panel was buffed out in a way no one can say it was ever hit.
Great great job. Highly recommended. Why wouldnt anyone try this? Cheaper than others, great quality of work, friendly people and faster service. I guess, atleast getting a quote is worth the time :)

I was looking for a body shop close to my work that would charge me a reasonable price to paint and install an aftermarket Nismo body kit for my Nissan 350Z, I stumbled on their ad on craigslist and called them up for a quote. At first I thought they were joking about the price and the turn around time, and believe me. they are charging ¹⁄₃ compared to other body shops. So I went to check out their shop to see their work, luckily they have a few cars that just got done and I was sold. I wasn’t expecting that high quality work for that price.
Left my car Thursday and I picked it up Monday. fitting was great given that the body kit was a replica and paint quality is just exceptional!
I highly recommend this shop, very professional on taking care of customers’ personal needs. Talk to Huy and Lee and they’ll take care of you!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! Got my baby, LX470 fixed with the right TLC it deserves.
I was greeted very nicely and given a no pressure estimate. Lupe was extremely knowledgeable (as I got to interact more with him over the next 2 days, I was even more impressed) and very patient in explaining the work entailed.
They never objected to me visiting the body shop while the vehicle was under repairs. I was nervous as I was simply getting a smog check done a few doors down and stopped here to get a free estimate and next thing I know, I was putting it in for fixing that I had procastinated for long.
They really got the job done beyond expectations and I will recommend them to all my friends. Also pointed out that the vehicle (I had bought used) was in some body shop earlier.
