I initially visited Dr. Pulley in 2007 for an eye infection. Since then, my eyesight has deteriorated enough to be noticeable. After evaluating the sheer number of readers that I own, I realized that it’s time to get real about being able to properly see the written word, people I know from a distance, airplanes, and the international space station. So I bit the bullet and made an appointment to see Dr. Pulley.
Prior to the appointment, I spoke at length with a gal who helped me figure out what kind of eye coverage I have through HealthNet. It’s pediatric, which does me no good, but she did find out that I have copay for the refractive eye exam, and a discount on lenses, frames and such through Eye Med. Which beats having no discounts at all. When I arrived at the office, she was kind enough to print our benefits for me.
Dr. Pulley was efficient and very nice. I had a bunch of questions for him regarding my eyesight «results,» and other stuff that came up in the course of the exam. He answered everything fully, and he never gave me the feeling that he was in a rush to get to his other patients.
I’m very happy to have my eyes in good hands (sorry about the visual).

I have seen Dr. Pulley many times for many years. He is very good, truly a top-​notch professional when it comes to eye health and visual acuity. I’ve been to others over the years on occasion due to insurance changes etc, but always come back here when I’m on a plan that let’s me. He is not super talkative but listens well to any issues or concerns and address them matter-​of-​factly. I love his staff and find his optician, Cynthia, very helpful with eyewear and contacts. She is terrific at helping me maximize my benefits and keeping extra costs under control.

I have gone to Dr. Pulley ever since I moved here to the Bay Area. His staff if very nice and the receptionist handled all of the details very well. Dr. Pulley is very thorough and efficient (he may come across fast to some), but he does a great job. He has you in, tested and out while making you feel comfortable. They eye glass technician, Cynthia Perez, is top notch also. She knows her glasses and helps you pick the best one for your face structure. She is very thorough with your insurance, so you know what is covered up front. She has a great coverage on the repair of the glasses and the adjustments that may be needed between appointments. I moved away so I had to find a new eye doctor.
