Seriously the worst customer service ever. Went in on dec 3rd, and was promised to get my doob in the mail by the 17th. Nothing. I call them on the 19th and they tell me it still hasn’t been made yet. That’ll I’ll receive it by the 21st. And in time for Christmas. Call them on the 26th and still no shipment information. All this time I’m the one calling and trying to figure out where my stuff is. Even if something is wrong with your printer have the common courtesy to call and let your customers know. Hey it won’t make it in time for Christmas. Get something else for your parents instead. NOTHING. this complaint is going straight to valley fair mall management. For having such a lousy business establishment inside their mall. Tried calling twice to speak with Trevor their manager but all the times they said he was suppose to be there he isn’t.

I really loved the physical product. My husband and I are now immortalized in an 8″ 3D printed statue that has so much realistic detail it is mind-boggling. My wedding ring and a mole on hubby’s shoulder are shown on the statue. It took almost one month to receive the statue, but we were so happy with the result, we made a video of it — When we had our scan done before Thanksgiving 2015, it took about 30+ minutes to get the pose right. The process was interesting, 54 cameras shoot at once! Since we were a couple, each person also had to hold and shoot the same pose individually. There are a few reasons why i didn’t give the service 5 stars. First, the price is $ 300 per person for an 8″ size. Plus I paid for an integrated stand, shipping, and a $ 45 digital Doob, totaling over $ 700. The digital Doob is a poor idea. It is a 3D photo of the statue, not the actual photos, which you can twirl on a website. Plus, it’s not downloadable, so if doob3d goes out of biz, your digital Doob is gone. Lastly, this company is not well-run. E.g., in making an appointment, no one at Westfield answered the phone. Afterwards, It took 6+ weeks to receive the digital Doob, and that was only because I kept emailing them. But overall, we really enjoy our Doob. In retrospect, in the scale of our home, I wish I would have purchased the 12″ size. Maybe the prices will go down as more competitors appear on the market.

Meh, seems like the place is pretty empty, from what I can tell they’ve cycled through about 4 employees now as th employees don’t show up in uniform, and they charge an insane amount(had hawaiin shirts on when I visited) I mean, their quality is pretty good don’t get me wrong, but $ 95 for a 4 inch statue and double the price for an inch more? No thanks, esp if the employees obv don’t care enough about their work to even have uniform.

OH. MY. GOSH. These were the words that were being repeated over and over in my head when I found out what DOOB3D was! You go inside a room where there are cameras placed all over. It kind of reminded me of the scanner in the TSA checkpoints in airports if you still can’t imagine it. These would be perfect gifts for family members, friends, and your significant other! They come in various sizes and what’s also amazing was that you could 3D your pets too! I highly suggest checking it out. Even to this day I’m still amazed. Not to mention that the employee who was working here was very friendly and was kind enough to try to interact with as much people as he can because people in this mall were just stopping and checking it out. Definitely would love to come back here and get me some of these!
