Doize Nancy School Of Dance

My daughter has danced at four different dance studios and this one is by far the very best. The teachers are quality and Nancy Doize is a class act!

My daughter has been taking dance with Miss Nancy since she was 3 years old. She is now dancing in her eighth year at the studio. She takes six major styles– ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary. My son has been taking classes here for five years (a bit on again off again). He is currently in a hip hop class.
We have stayed with this studio for so long because of Miss Nancy. She has run this studio for 32 years. She knows all of her students by name. She teaches them to be good citizens and beautiful dancers inside and out. She creates a real community in her dance school where the older dancers are expected to look after the younger ones. The studio also sponsors a competitive dance team, the Doize Dream Team, which has won many state and national honors.
Compared to other activities my children are involved in (soccer, gymnastics) Miss Nancy is extremely organized and communicative. When you register for classes in the fall, you will be given dates for the picture day and recital dates in June. I find this type of scheduling extremely invaluable.
Nancy is also just an all-​around great lady. One year, when I couldn’t leave work early enough to take my daughter to dance, Miss Nancy picked her up from school for an entire year and took her to the studio. How’s that for dedication?
