D&R Pool Service is a family owned and operated company. We offer residential and commercial pool cleaning and repair services. Our service areas include San Jose and some parts of Los Gatos. We hold a California state contractors license and we are fully insured and bonded. We have over 10 years of experience in the pool service industry and we guarantee all of our work. We have 2 pool maintenance plans for you to choose from and we can custom tailor any service plan to suit your needs. We offer pool inspections, equipment repairs, pool drains, acid washes, green pool cleanups, and new pool start-​ups. Established in 2004.

D&R Pool Service was started in June of 2004. After a series of bad experiences with other local pool service companies, my wife and I realized that there was a lack of professionalism and customer service within the pool service industry. We felt that we could do a better job at a lower price, and without the attitude. We were inspired to start our own business and we have been going strong ever since. We treat our customers how we would like to be treated and most of our customers become our friends. Our company is family owned and operated and we offer a more personalized type of pool service. I have been using D&R Pool Service for almost a year for our house we bought with a pool. It started out with a quote to fix a timer and then after procrastinating a few months our entire pump went out. So again I called Richard up and got another quote and thought to go ahead with both repairs. He directed me to a more efficient pump that had a built in timer and let me know I didn’t need the timer replaced with the new pump. Then after struggling for a 6 months to keep the pool clean and chemicals correct, I called again to get regular pool service. Now Richard takes care of everything for us and all we do is enjoy the pool. He has done excellent work on everything we have needed fixed (replace shorted out pool lights, replace pool pump, clean filters, repair tiles that came loose and other repairs as needed). Something I truly appreciate is that he lets you know all the options and then will also tell you what he would do if it were his pool for cost effectiveness. He does not try to get you to purchase unnecessary things. When you are looking for someone to do anything for your pool, I would highly recommend that you call Richard. He is exactly what you hope for: honest, dependable, skilled and, a really nice guy to top it off. If you have any questions he is really great at taking the time to talk with you!

I have used D&R Pool Company for about one year now.
Our old pool service guy spoke little english which made it sometimes difficult.
But now using D&R Pools, Rich is very friendly and has a can do attitude!
Whenever I request something or have a question he is more then happy to give me his time.
I love working with Rich because he is one of the most professional people I work with and I never have to worry about miscommunications and not willing to go the extra mile for me.
It is a wonderful feeling to not have to worry about the job getting done!!!
