Very friendly, awesome service, and professional! Definitely coming back here when I have computer problems! Nghi helped me a whole bunch! I wanted build a custom computer I sent him the list of parts through email and he reviewed it and told me what I should change. Later on when the parts came in I brought em over and he was able to build it and install software for me for a really good price! Time wise it was really quick as well. COME BY HERE IF YOU NEED ANY COMPUTER HELP!

from the first moment over the phone Nhat totally understood my needs to connect the Ethernet network and cables in my house, he was able to visit my house after few hours on the same day, they know exactly what they are doing and how to diagnose any problem .
I was quoted a one hour for my job to be taken care off, it took them at least double the time because of cut cables in my house and they only charged me for the one hour quoted over the phone, so honest and clean done job.
Nhat also helped me with few software and fixed my desk top that was giving me some hard time and when I Asked about an extra fees he said ((THAT is all good It was just a small thing))
But for me it was really a big thing to have my desk top up and running .
WILL ALWAYS recommend the COMPUTER BUDDIES to all my friends and family

This spot is by far the BEST place to get your electronics repaired. I broke my retina display on my mac book pro. I foolishly went straight to Mac to attempt to repair my retina display. Long story short the Mac technician tried to ROB me and said they won’t repair my screen unless I allowed them to repair other things –that didn’t need repair. The technician wanted to charge me originally 450 which was fine. BUT they changed the cost because of these supposed «needed» repairs. They wanted to charge me 750 with additional fees. ANYWAYS that was WAY out of my budget and I needed to fix my display ASAP. Luckily my brother recommended to go to Computer Buddies. I was very pleased with their professionalism and costumer service. I told them exactly what I needed done for my laptop and they fixed it no problem. They got the job done without robbing me in the end. Thanks to Computer Buddies my laptop works like a charm !

Don’t go here unless you want to be held hostage for cash. I saw a service add on craigslist and called and Kenny regarding wifi tethering on nexus 6. I explained to him I have rooted it as well as downloaded the wifi tethering app and I wasn’t able to get it to work. He said, no problem just bring it down I can work on it now and it I cannot get it to work, you dont have to pay. my charge is $ 40. He tried working on it for around 30 mins, couldn’t get it to work, said sorry I can’t do it. As I left the store, he followed me to the car and demanded I pay him $ 40, I said you were very clear that if it didnt work, I wont have to pay, not to mention I drove down there from Fremont. He threatened to smash the windows of my car or jump me and run before the police gets there unless I paid him. Since I didnt have cash, we drove to 7-​eleven to get cash so I can pay and got out of there. I even called the SJ police to report the even afterwards. Terrible service…

I had trouble with my laptot — it suddeny stopped working after few minutes and I did not know what was going on! I used Unilocal to find some good repair shop. I found Computer Buddies and tried them.
I came there with my 18months old daughter and told them my problem. One of the guys (unfortunately I did not ask the name — Sorry) explained me what it could be — few options. He did not hesitate and started to work on my laptop. He did some tests if it could be overheating and he also updated my other things they were not updated for a long time. He took care of the laptop for more than an hour and also explaned to me what he was doing.
When he was done, he said to take the laptop home and to come back if it’s still shutting down. He did not charge me anything because he was not sure if what he did helps. I feel so bad now because my laptop is working perfectly (I was there two weeks ago) and I did not pay anything for his time and advice. When I came home I also cleaned the «filter» that could cause the overheating. He told me to try to clean it and it maybe helped too.
I will definitely come back if I have some problem with my computers. I will also recommend Computer Buddies to my friends who need help to fix something with laptops etc.

Highly recommend this place. Best service ever! Bought my Sony and Chrome-​book here to fix. Sony had water damage and the Chrome-​Book needed a new keyboard. Nhat (sorry if I misspell your name) took care of it just like that. You can trust them with all your electronics without have to worry about any hidden fees or like some places when you ask a question they give you the «I don’t know» answer. Thought I had to say Good Bye to my Sony but Nhat bought it back to live… THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I don’t care how far you guys are I’m still driving there with all my electronic problems.

These guys know their stuff! They fixed my dad’s laptop as well as my phone. My dad found these guys because they are one of the few Vietnamese speaking computer repair shops in like 10 miles. Guys were reasonably priced and they only kept the laptop for 2 days. Works great now. I came back when i cracked my Galaxy phone and these guys took care of it in a few hours.
If you got tech problems, these guys are the place to call!

My experience with computer buddies is nothing but positive! They are very kind, and have great customer service! They helped troubleshoot my computer, and kept me in the loop with everything they did to it. They made sure the cost was not too high, and compared to many other computer tech shops, they had the most reasonable price. I would definitely recommend computer buddies!

Found them on Unilocal!Their a new business located on Tully & Senter (behind McDonald’s). I came in at noon to get my laptop cleaned because it was very slow. The guys were very friendly and extremely helpful and informative about our questions. Definitely recommend them! Charge was average, not over charge. I’ll update my laptop results later.
They also do other stuff, like repairing other electronic, printers, phones, lcd screens and a bunch of misc electronic stuff for sale as well.
And they ROOT cell phones! Lol… omg, my husband has been bugging to get his phone rooted, but hasn’t found one that can do it on his phone, but we coincidently found this place. Lol… lucky for us!

This place is great! They’ll clean and thoroughly fix your computer. My laptop was completely broken and I didn’t know what to do. Brought it over and the next day it was fixed. Highly recommend.

These guys are the real deal. My iPad screen crapped out on me and my friend referred me to this place due to their low labor costs and excellent customer service. They did not disappoint! They fixed my screen extremely quickly and for a price that cannot be beaten. Additionally, one of them was nice enough to throw in a few iPad accessories in – for free! Computer Buddies fixed my computer problems quick and a very good price. They also did a virus removal pretty quick.
The staff there have great knowledge in computers and if you don’t understand, just ask them and they sit there and explain it to you. Very good service.
