Where is the no star option??? Oh well.
I lost a device from Comcast so I deemed it lost. Comcast charged me $ 100. That’s fine.
When I was digging through junk I found it and returned the device to the service center they said I would have to keep it because they already charged me the $ 100. I was like uhh no here’s your crap device that’s worth maybe $ 30(small tv adapter). The counter rep talked to the manager and they said they could not refund my money. I told them keep that $ 30 piece of junk.
I called the 800 Comcast # and they refunded my money within a week. (*note* the service center did not even mention to call the 800 #)
$ 100 is not a lot to me but if I return something I expect a refund…

Anyone experience a random house visit from an Xfinity/​Comcast service representative?
A representative showed up at my home friday Jan 29^th around 7:30pm wearing black clothes with a white Xfinity logo.
He had a clipboard and asked how my Xfinity/​Comcast service was. He wanted to come inside and look at the equipment. I told him that i would not let him inside since i did not request a visit nor had Xfinity/​Comcast notified me of any such visits.
I did get a business card with the 1900 S 10^th Street address.
Needless to say, I’m very unhappy that Xfinity/​Comcast conducts ‘customer service’ checks. It’s just not safe.
Anyone else had this experience?

If I could give zero stars I would. This might be the worst company in the history of mankind. My rate just doubled with no explanation or warning. There is no option to email, so they try to force you to not complain by making you wait on hold and speak to seven or eight representatives, repeating your story every time. I will be canceling my service and never going back to Comcast. Avoid this company at all costs.

«Tina» that works in the cancellation department is a terrible human being. She had no clue what was going on and sounded like she hadn’t been trained at all. She continuously tried to talk over me the entire time I was on the line with her. She clearly doesn’t like her job and I’m sure that someone will relieve her of it soon. You can’t treat customers like that. Terrible…

Comcast has owed me $ 178.00 from a closure of the account since I sold my home in May of last year. I have talked with three different persons on the phone with assurances that the check was in the mail. It is now end of January, 8 months later and I still have yet to recieve my $ 178.00. Interestingly I have Comcast internet, phone, security and TV in my current home. Those bills come in regularly, strange how they are not able to tell when they owe you but are sure to let you know if you might be late with your payment.
I wish I had a choice here where I live but AT&T is worse. So here I am stuck with less than average internet and TV and a security system that is constantly needing re-​booting. Comcast has gotten to big to care about their customers.

I recently moved my service from a prior residence to my new home and they added additional services to my bill I didn’t request by adding a phone line I don’t have or use. When I contact Comcast via chat or phone to have this removed they stated they can’t verify my information b/​c my social security do not match their records to my account yet they were able to transfer the service and do a new installation and charge me over $ 200 dollars. I have called them 3 times as my name is misspelled on the bill as well and this has not been processed either. For what they charge for their service you will think they will actually have some type of customer service that can make this simple change. I will be going to a new service even if I have to pay a cancellation fee.

The worst customer service ever these idiots are so rude even though your more that nice to them the hire low class or should I say ghetto people that make you feel so uncomfortable and disrespected the worst experience even though I was understanding with them they talk to you like your garbage no wonder they have no stars the worst experience ever.

Watch out this pos. I have been with comcast for more then 8 years. Now they have a new scam!!! Last week my TV did not work, after on phone troubleshooting with the tech guy, they decided that the box was not working. So they said they send someone to check the box. As always, i asked if it is a free service, they said «absolutely free».
The guy showed up, started to cut out my other connections, i have 6 rooms all with cables. Instead of simply change the TV box and leave, he spend two hours, going through all my rooms and lines in my house. I tried stopped him but he said this is the new company polices that they come out for a trip then they will and must do a Preventive maintenance check. After two hours, he said my TV box does not work, he changed the box with a new one then left.
Then, i go a bill charging me 70 dollars!!! WTF!!!
Watch out this tricky company!!! It is really a low mean trick they are playing now.

So far so good BUT it isn’t finished yet. I am moving, trying to keep my phone number and merging 2 accounts. Not easy. The wait was ok and the rep Elsy Neal was patient and explained everything. Let’s see if it all gets taken care of as she suggested. I am waiting for a reply. But so far so good.

Well after a miserable fail of trying to set up a simple move and change of address (hour online with an account rep and an hour on the phone with another rep) I finally decided to just wake up early on a Saturday and head over to the service center. I arrived about 5 minutes prior to opening and ended up being about 5^th in line. Once we were allowed in and I added my name to the list, I waited less than 5 minutes to be called to a service window. About 20 minutes later I accomplished everything I had been working so hard to do online and over the phone. I walked out with equipment in hand and had everything set up and activated in my new home in under an hour. The account rep I worked with was very understanding of all my frustrations and took care of all the issues immediately. I’ve learned my lesson and won’t bother with phone calls and chat windows ever again.

The behemoth of an industry ‘communication and media’. Its convenient to subsidize our needs but if it gives way to more intricate problems of privacy, defamation, market, evaluation how can we pinpoint the real problems?
Cable is provided in many ways. In the past wires were the tangible sources of distribution. In this day and age of wireless capabilities and the likes how can a price be fairly determined on resources we have to live with? And have a difficulty living without.
I visited this location of Comcast within the service history of my viewing pleasures and the appointment at the time was successfully serviced. Being accountable and seeking resolution however positive or productive as it comes to be has to be the point. I had to turn in some equipment that we no longer used and needed.
Love being able to watch what I want when I want. On Demand is great for not being able to watch something when you are not able to. I miss regular not complicated tv viewing. There used to be a time when we can ‘schedule’ things in our lives. As productive as media has become I have to admit that it made the economics of watching anything scary.

I signed up in June. One of my boxes would lock up if I tried changing the channel too many times or watch «On Demand». Fed up I called to see it my contract was active because I refused the condition of accepting a contract to receive my $ 200 that was promised to me. I well spoken gentleman named Stephan Butler helped. He was definitely well trained in the snake oil trade. I told him that I wanted to cancel… he asked me if I would accept the cancellation fee and I told him no. He stated that he was going to mark down that I accepted it. This is when I pulled out my I-​phone and started recording. I had them come out three times. Twice for the main box and three times for the bedroom box. Two were concurrent. so that is why it was only three times total.
This guy acted like I should be happy that they are charging me so little for bad service. I can’t believe the Comcast company that I used to defend has sunk so low.

Nick was a complete dick. We tried to set up Internet and when we showed that their online prices are lower he just shut down completely and said well just get it online and was done with us without explaining why it is so much more when we come in person.
Comcast we ALL hate you and will applaud the day when some future disruption obviates your need to exist. Looking forward to the announcement of mass layoffs to your culturally dead workforce.

Lowest possible rating for on-​line customer service. An hour of live-​chat with no resolution. Comcast has gone back on price twice now as well as term of contract as promised by Pete Bond, former S.J. office manager and service rep at office. I’ll be spending several hours next week at the office trying once more to sort things out.
Technical service has been great over the phone and we really like Comcast programming. It all falls apart when direct customer service comes into play.

I’m a pretty lucky guy. I placed my order on the phone, got some good assistance from their Tech Support team about specific questions about the cable box. Went to this Comcast Service Center on 10^th Street on a Sunday morning and I got in and out within 10 minutes. Surprise, surprise, plugged in the box and went through the self installation process and the box didn’t activate when I tried to work with the Activation team on the phone.
Knowing this may happen, I made sure that the ensuing tech visit will not be charged to me. When the tech came, he helped to figure out that it was my wall outlet that was constructed incorrectly. He helped fix it and I was good as gold.
I’m aware of Comcast’s horrible reputation on Unilocal and in general, I wouldn’t be a customer if it weren’t for the fact that my DirecTV access is temporarily unavailable. Considering the horror stories about Comcast, I skated through this relatively unscathed.

Super bad service. solicited business but never followed through. don’t deal with this person. couldn’t perform and conduct the business.

Had a huge technical issue to resolve along with the associated request for a refund/​credit on my account. Waited two hours to be seen after having called in 7+ times to customer service to no avail.
Finally a lady greeted me and I cracked a joke. She smiled. I told her my long story and immediately the sass started. She said «so you want us to fix a problem that’s already been fixed.?» I responded that nothing had been fixed yet but that I was telling her how to fix the problem, seeing as the last 7 phone calls were fruitless.
Finally after a 10 minute conversation, and every one of the Comcast employees at one point coming over to overhear the conversation, I was told there was «nothing they could do.» and that I needed to wait for tier 2 support.
Fyi, tier 2 support couldn’t fix my problem either, and the solution was to cancel and restart service. Of course I never got a refund/​credit, and am contemplating small claims or class action.

Another 1 star review … for all the same reasons as everyone else. The entire Comcast experience is painful. The only thing they seem to be able to do well or efficiently … is bill their customers.
Comcast Customer service is almost a parody of itself. Their computer /​systems /​networks /​etc. are always broken or under maintenance. They will be rude, hang up, or just plain lie to you.
The only positive part is that after a dozen pointless frustrated phone calls, being placed on hold for hours, overcharged, and enraged … ultimately you may get some decent internet speeds.
If there were another option … it would be better.

351 is the current number being served I’m number 374. There are 10 possible windows for customer service. How many is open right now? 1, 1 window for about 26 people waiting in line.
Honestly the more I see how clueless the staff here is, the more I think they are purposely trying to make you mad by providing incompetent slow service. Whoever watches south park and has seen the cable TV Episode can relate and think the staff here make it an eternity of waiting but you don’t have a choice.

This place may look and seem like the DMV but in reality it’s a lot worst. The actual employees try to be helpful but I just really really hate this place.
I feel like my soul is being consumed the longer I wait here, and I’ve been here for a long time. You can’t even call in for a simple question because the number takes you to a barely usable robot.
At one point there was over 30 people waiting and only 2 – 3 employees helping. If the sight of a waiting ticket number makes you sick you are out of luck here.
I feel like all my hate for Comcast right now could birth a demon baby.
