Cleaners To Your Door

I used Cleaners To Your Door to clean 6 relatively new wood blinds. The guy arrived on time and was very pleasant. However, here are the problems:
1) The quality of the clean was just ‘ok’. There were faint traces of dust and dirt. I would have given them 3-​stars if it weren’t for the other problems below.
2) He broke several valance clips and didn’t tell me. So much so, 2 valances were short. He tried to fix the problem by pasting cheap velcro to the back of the 2 valances. The next day, one of the valances fell off and almost hit us. That’s when I discovered what he did.
3) About a week later, I was tilting a blind like normal when one of the slats simply broke and fell off. I cannot prove this company was responsible, but because the guy didn’t tell me of the previous problem, I can’t help but be suspicious.
I didn’t bother complaining because I was luckily under warranty with Hunter Douglas and got my blinds fixed.
I will never use Cleaners To Your Door again.

Had Dang out to repair and adjust Hunter Douglas mini blinds. He was very professional and had the blinds working like new in no time. If you need any repairs or work done on your mini blinds, drapes or shutters call and ask for Dang to come out. You will be impressed by his work !!

In October of 2015, I called Cleaners To Your Door to restring our pleated vertical blinds.
Scheduling the appointment took a number of phone calls back and forth.
The repair was performed by a man named Dang. He was polite and courteous.
He restrung the blinds and the price was reasonable.
My main complaint was that a month later the strings used to repair the blind
cut into a plastic bushing in the header rail of the blind and made it impossible
to raise them. The material used on the repair is not durable enough to last 90 days.
I called to schedule a repair appointment but was told by the person who answered to call back tomorrow. I’ll try to find a more reliable repair service that is closer to my home in the Dublin/​Pleasanton area.

Did a terrific job on cleaning my custom roman shades. They also fixed my damaged roll up shade. Excellent pricing. Use them you will be happy!

Extremely horrible service! I’ve been going here because it was close to my house. I dropped off a dress I only wore once to be cleaned. When I picked it up, it was destroyed. They do not know what they are doing and are not apologetic about it. I had them try to fix it multiple times but they could not. They told me to return the dress to the store I bought it from. Ridiculous! Next I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
DO NOT bring your clothes here to be dry cleaned!

This out fit jerked me around for 2 weeks saying they are coming to repair my Roman Shades and then never showing up, not even calling and saying they wouldn’t be coming. The last straw was today when they said they would be here at 9 the first call today, at 11 I called and now it was going to be 3 to 6. no call or anything, that was it, I cancelled and called Gallery 33 someone I know is reliable and they are coming tomorrow to repair my Roman Shades. Don’t get jerked around by this Cleaners to Your Door, they are a joke who should not be in business.

Do not bring your leather goods to this place! Even though they advertise that they clean leather bags, the won\man who works there just ruined my leather bag.
I brought my expensive leather handbag to clean, and it was totally ruined, came out as hard as a rock, lady who did the cleaning was extremely rude and obnoxious, she charged me $ 50 and said that if I did not want my bag ruined, I should not have come there, apparently she warned me before cleaning my bag. Thanks to the other man who was working there he made her give me my money back, but my bag is not what it was. So they might do a good job cleaning clothes, but not leather goods. Avoid!

Usually a great place, until today. When I walked in to get my dry cleaning, I was hit with the heavy smell of cigarettes. The man said he was smoking outside. A lie. The smell was so heavy and strong it was obvious he had been smoking inside with the clothes. I didn’t leave my clothes this time. Why would I take my clothes to a dry cleaner who smokes next to the clothes. You take your clothes to get rid of the smoke smell, not bring them home smelling of smoke.

My Hunter Douglas shade needed repair and I was referred to this business by Hunter Douglas warranty program. All I can say is WOW. Bac called me immediately after receiving my phone message and scheduled the repair within a couple of days. The installer was prompt and professional. This was one of the most satisfying business dealings I’ve had in years. I will definitely be giving Cleaners to Your Door my business in the future.

This review is strictly for their repair of Hunter-​Douglas products. We have taken at least 3 or 4 of our Hunter Douglas blinds and shades here for repair, and been happy every time. They complete the repairs on-​site and do great work. Also appreciate that they keep the blinds and shades clean — returning them in a sealed plastic bag.

This business was recommended by Hunter Douglas corporate so we called them and got an appointment within 1 business day.
The person who came was very respectful of our home, very diligent and in few minutes repaired the blind which needed re-​stringing.
Would gladly recommend.

My home has 35 wooden bamboo blinds which had accumulated 10 years of dust and dirt. I tried cleaning them myself but it was impossible. The cleaner from Cleaners to Your Door worked non-​stop and did the impossible. The result is that they now look like new and my home feels so clean. I am happy beyond words. I highly recommend Cleaners to Your Door!

Came here with a Groupon for wedding gown preservation. Good deal and the dress was completed by the time promised! Dress looks clean and was presented in the box very well.
The only thing they should do is update their number. I tried calling the number listed on their Unilocal page and what comes up on a Google search, which kept ringing and went to voicemail several times. Their actual number is 408−267−8140.

Making an appointment seemed harder than it should have been. They wouldn’t do it over the phone and I had to wait for an email. No email came when promised so I had to call back. Then I got an email scheduling the work a few days later. Why couldn’t I just do it over the phone? What if the time they suggested didn’t work for me?
Technician showed up as promised and did a great job re-​cording a wooden blind. The work was done quickly and at my request adjusted afterwards to make the cord match the other blind in the room. I paid by check (good price!) and the technician told me I’d get a receipt by mail. It took over 2 weeks and 2 phone calls before the receipt was emailed. Why so long? Why couldn’t I just get it from the technician when I paid?
So, great work, great price, but a bit of a pain to deal with.

Cleaners to Your Door was the perfect choice for my verticle blinds repair. The first nice tech arrived to take assessment (insisted on taking shoes off to walk on my old carpet: next in line for repair or removal). In the next few days or so (a part had to he ordered) «Dan» arrived, and despite some challenges (my AC happened to be inoperable (also being repaired), inland weather during last week of Spring reached 3 digits & my blinds were on their last life cycle (but still repairable & beautiful), Dan pushed through and got the job done; he would not stop until he was finished and I was satisfied with mechanisms. Price affordable, excellent customer service. 5 stars, easy :-)…Happy Antioch customer.

I brought my Michael Kors vinyl diaper bag/​travel bag/​go anywhere bag in for cleaning a couple weeks ago. I have had this bag for 5+ years and could not find an equal replacement so I thought, why not clean it?! After making some uneducated attempts myself I went to a professional. The lady who took my order was nice and they cleaned the bag in one week. Although there were a couple non-​removavble stains I was very pleased that they were able to give this bag an overall face-​lift which will allow me to keep using it! The price was pretty fair too.

The gentleman is still here putting up the Hunter Douglas honeycomb blinds that were cleaned and repaired (the blinds, I found out, are 10 years old and were here when I got the house). THEY LOOK AMAZING! I would absolutely recommend these folks if your blinds need repair or cleaning. They came out last Wednesday to pick up the blinds (they took them down and were out of here in 10 minutes). They delivered them back today, Monday! They would have delivered them back on Saturday but I ended up working that day. I am so pleased! HIRE THEM! They were responsive, professional and reasonably priced… the quality in repair and cleaning is extraordinary!

Went here to get some holes that were on my pants repaired. One of the pairs I got back still had some minor holes in the pockets so I went back so they could fix it but they tried charging me another 5 bucks for it… Forget that!!, I’m not paying for something that should have been fixed when I paid for it already. They should have fixed it for me for no extra charge. Not coming back here again!!.

Went in to drop off a leather jacket that needed a single scratch repaired and a basic cleaning/​refreshing as offered on their website (leather repair pro). The lady at the desk looked at the scratch and said the boss wasn’t there and that I should leave the jacket so the boss could look at it in the am — -the whole time she was scratching at the damage, opening the small cut as if she was assessing it… So… You don’t even know IF it can be fixed but you’re making it worse?!? And you want me to leave my property with you?! Really??? She even argued as to why I wasn’t going to leave it behind…
NO BUENO. I’d rather live with the scratch.

It was the worst experience, the staff is extremely rude in every way. I wanted my pants a little bit longer, and the result was very unprofessional. There were holes and threads coming out of my pants. There was also stains they had forgotten to clean. So i decided to go back and request they would clean it but they refused and finally they gave me a refund. They were the absolutely horrid.
