We focus our training on Christian Principals found in Galatians 5:22 — «The Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-​Control, against such things there is no law!» We focus on Christ’s character, and how we can be more like him while learning martial arts and self-​defense in a non-​threatening, family oriented environment for ages 6+.

I’ve studied martial arts since the movie, «Karate Kid» exploded onto the big screen. I’ve been passionate about the arts ever since then — some 25 years later I’m blessed each time I meet with students, and help them on their personal journey. My belief is the «martial way» is superseded by the Biblical verse John 14:6, which says, «I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me» (Christ is saying this).

Although we practice martial arts, which is considered the «way» of one thing or another, at our dojo, we realize we can only become all we can when we rely upon Christ our Lord, and not on our own understanding, hands, feet, or fists.

I invite you to visit our San Jose or Morgan Hill school, and see how and why we are different. We incorporate various martial arts to ensure every student is well rounded upon reaching black belt, which can take 5+ years of training!
