Garbage. Rude and unfair employers who make fun of customers and other employees as well as Beachwood cleanup employers including mentally retarded workers. Truly disgusting experience.

They were very rude. We couldn’t understand because they wouldn’t speak up. The food was good but there wasn’t nearly enough meat for what I paid for. They forgot to put ranch on my sandwich, which was supposed to be included and even after I asked they still didn’t. It really seemed like they didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to speak to you. The man who made our sandwiches barley even made eye contact.

Normally I love the cheesesteak subs and fries here but I found two things wrong with my fries. First, one fry was completely frozen! I know it’s fast food, but seriously, you can’t even heat up the fries properly in a fryer? Second, another fry was covered in BLACKMOLD. The worst part of it was that it was at the bottom of my cheese fries so I didn’t see it until I was almost done with the entire thing! DISGUSTING, doesn’t deserve any stars.

Their fries are good. But the turkey cheese cheddar melt was prepared badly. It looked like shit honestly.

One thing every Charley’s does well: consistency. This Charley’s keeps that up. However, the employees at the time took an unusual amount of time — compared to the Great Mall location. I waited a couple minutes extra as the employees were chattin’ up a storm in front of me. I can’t really complain that much though; the sandwich was served at optimal temperature, when usually it’s too scorching hot to eat. Also water cups are at .25 cents each. 3 stars for that.

It is in the food court all the way in this place, what do you expect? I usually just check in and never write a review while at the mall, expectations are low any ways so I don’t write. But this place is so not good in so many levels. The«philly steak» regular size has(no joke) one slice of pepper and one tiny single mushroom. The menu reads«philly steak with mushrooms, peppers and grilled onions« But that’s not what you get.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I was here in the morning when they were opening, there was one lady opening so I told her I would order and just come back because she wasn’t quite ready. I order a combo and tell her I’ll pay the difference for a lemonade she tells me I have to pay for a whole other drink I’m like um no I’m not getting two drinks so I’m not paying for two! I will pay the difference in the drink. She argued with me. So I said you know what just give me my money back. She told me I had to COMEBACKLATERTOGETMYMONEYBACK because she didn’t know how to do it. I must have lost it! Really lady??? Then her manager comes and argues with me about the drink. I said it doesn’t matter I’m just waiting to get my money back. She then proceeds to argue, she was worse then the worker! Then she doesn’t even know how to void out the transaction and give me my money back. I attempt to explain it to her she still doesn’t get it! So I tell her give me cash n you figure it out later! I think they need to really train their people. Because I’ve been to other locations and the food is pretty decent. But with customer service like this ABSOLUTELYWILLNOTBEBACK!

Worst experience ever! I was browsing Eastridge food court when the 5.99 bbq combo caught my eye and my budget. I pointed to the sign and said I would like this combo. The manager taking my order never once said the order was for a small sized sandwich, but he asked me if I wanted to order the medium or large(small was not an option). I should have asked, but I assumed the sign was for a medium, which he then charge me regular price, kind of a bait and switch. I upgraded to the gourmet fries and a coke. The total came out to be $ 11.59, far short of the 5.99 advertise price. Taking a bite, I must admit the sandwich was great, no complaints, the gourmet fries, came with cheese and bacon, I can feel it slowly clogging my arteries, they should change the name if these fries. Oh, I also asked for a refill as I left, now most places would offer a free refill, but not charley, they charged me 60 more cents. Sorry Charley, but this will be my last visit here.

Bread got thinner compared to past visits and yet staff and owner insist it hasn’t changed. Like others have said, you can’t upgrade. I wanted to upgrade and try the peach lemonade but they said I had to purchase it as a separate drink. It’s already bad enough the prices are outrageous! Cheesesteak sandwich was salty and missing the mushrooms, again! Ended up with serious stomach cramps and diarrhea after drinking a weird peach lemonade concoction that contained peach bits! For that reason alone I would have given them –5 stars if I could!!! Never again at this place!!!

They do not allow you to Upsize a combo, instead they make you buy the items individually, which costs significantly more. They were more interested in serving someone from asian place next door, passing money across the wall and having a hard time getting the order because of the general noise instead of helping the customers that had already paid. The person preparing the food took the money and then kept preparing the food without changing her glove. When I took the food to the table, my companion asked where the meat was within the sandwich because the serving of meat was so miniscule. On top of that the food had little taste, I had the buffalo chicken which should have some spice, but it was not to be. So other than the cost, the service, the sanitation, and the taste, everything was fine.

Came here for lunch for the first time and ordered the philly cheese steak with gourmet fries. Prices were pretty high. The steak sandwich tasted alright, but the gourment fries did not look even close to the picture. It lacked cheese and the fries were stale. They also put way more ice than needed into my soda. Finished my soda and wanted a refill, but unfortunately they charge 60 cents. I did not see any indication that refills cost 60 cents. Subways a few stores down gives those free refills. Will not be coming back. I do not recommend this place.

I came here twice as an experiment. One star is for the regular fries, which were good. Another star for their drink selection. My beef with this location is that if you order a small, you get so little meat that you almost need a magnifying glass to see it amongst the bread. At least what little it had tasted good. Do yourself a favor and go two stalls down to Subway.

Went to the food court and was torn between teriyaki chicken with rice or a sandwich. Decided to go with the sandwich and was not disappointed. I ordered the Bacon 3 Cheese size small with fries and drink and it was one of the best sandwiches from Charley’s. I highly recommend it as well as the gourmet fries. It has bacon and cheese over their fries. Oh! Their fries are always fresh when made so be careful. I also love how it’s crunchy and fresh. They also hand out samples if you want to try it before you buy it.

The customer service isn’t on point. I know it’s a fast food restaurant and the expectations shouldn’t be high but a smile and eye contact make a difference. This place is pretty over priced too with their meal deals. One sandwich, fries, and drink can cost $ 12. However their gourmet fries are tasty accompanied by sweet strawberry lemonade. Some sandwiches are fine too.

I understand that this is in a food court and yes i do understand WHICH food court but still some common sense would help So they have this combo deal of your sandwich, fries, and a drink. Now I can totally understand that if you want a premium drink it does not come with the combo but being a fast food place I would have expected paying the difference. Now when asked if I could have a coke ONTOP of the lemonade to make the combo complete we were told no. So how the hell does that work I am willing to pay more money, but they don’t want to take it? ok then i guess i wont be coming back anytime soon cuz they dont want my money.

Had a Chicken California sub and it is pretty good Gourmet fry I had was the bacon cheese fries I enjoyed both but my husband isn’t a fan of the cheese on the fries(it’s okay since he’s picky) Only reason for losing a star is the guy originally about to make my food looked so lost when going to cook the chicken that the other guy had to go and help. It tasted good though and I understand the pain of being a new person in training A bit pricy for what you order(portion wise) but at least it tastes good
