Contacted Chris to replace our front yard picket fence but she has retired to Lake County. Would have loved to use her again, but that’s okay. Now who do I contact…

I called their listed number – (408) 450‑2635 — three times and got the same response: «Your call cannot be answered at this time. Please try again later. Thank you.»
I gave up after the third call.

I am very satisfied with C.B. Fences. This is a very professional and thorough job. I had long fence and heavy gate installed which I share with a neighbor and is visible to the street. It was very important that the job look high quality and last a long time. they came out to the house and finished the job promptly. It looks great! I recommended them to my neighbors and just had their fence finished last week.

I agree with Mj S. comments.
My fence was a mess. Holes on everyside of the fence.
Having a very very little experience with fence and material, I called
few people for Quotes. Here’s my experience.
1. Exactly told what needs to be done.
2. Didn’t upsell anything
3. Was very PROMPT replying either via e-​mail and/​or Phone.
4. Quotes were very reasonable.
5. Very easy to communicate with.
6. After seeing my little daughter, she also fixed left over spots so that
neighbor dogs/​cats/​etc. won’t come through. This was something that we never discussed or had a quote for and she threw in this for FREE for us. I could sense the CARING nature of her.
7. She cleaned the stuff and distributed the good fence boards between us and neighbor for future use. in case if they come loose and she volunteered to come and fix it if ever they become loose or fall down.
8. Ah. I thought her oil gasket pan came loose on my drive away and she didn’t notice it, but she was so meticulous that she didn’t wanted any oil leaks be falling on my drive way. That was impressive and a good thought.
9 While fence work was going on, Heating contractor came and told that I have seen this truck [Chris’s] at many places. No wonder she is so POPULAR.

Discovered that after my fence gate was repaired that it doesn’t function properly and open all the way. I called and emailed months ago and talked to Chris who said she would be back in a few weeks and would look at it then. No call, no show. Now my gate won’t open all the way.

Moved into a new house (new for us but the house is OLD). We had a gate on our fence where the posts had rotted out and the gate was hanging, it wouldn’t close properly and we were propping it up on bricks. I found CB on Unilocal and Chris came out to bid the work. She was on time, friendly, gave me a great quote, it was an easy decision. She scheduled the work, showed up and worked for three straight hours jack hammering out the old posts, and setting the new ones, the gate is as good as new. I’m thrilled. Any fence or gate needs I have in the future I’d call CB again in a heartbeat. They’re professional, reliable, honest, and hard working!

I recently contacted CB Fencing and Deck to replace and extend a fence for my yard.
I got a quote from several other places, but Chris’s quote best them all. The work is impeccable and it couldn’t be any better. From getting an estimate to completing the entire work Chris was very professional and kept in contact the whole time.

Having done the Craigslist thing and not liking the experience, I tried Unilocal. CB had a couple of good reviews so I contacted them for an estimate. Christine came out while I was at work, left me an estimate and where to go to look at material. We picked out the material and worked out the timing. It doesn’t get any easier.
The deck is beautiful and was completed when we came home from an extended weekend. She even provided pictures showing the underlying construction.
Pricing was in line with another estimate — and based upon the ease of the whole process — will use them again.

We recently used CB Fence and Deck to build a good neighbor fence. Chris did an excellent job and was so easy to work with, that my husband and I had her come back the following week to build a new side gate for us. During that process, I ended up changing my mind twice on how I wanted the side gate to look, which required Chris to have to make additional trips to Home Depot to purchase the right size/​shape wood. She was so patient with me and couldn’t have been more gracious about my multiple changes (Thank you, Chris!) I highly recommend using CB Fence and Deck for all of your fence/​gate/​deck needs!

I needed to get a new gate, the old one has been their since the house was built, and not to mention it was horrible looking. I had asked around and heard of CB Fence and Deck from some friends that had their deck done by them. They came highly recommended because they do a very clean and detailed job.
I asked them just to do an estimate, and found out that not only did my gate look bad, but our fence had a lot of gaps, which they stated they could fix.
I went ahead and hired CB Fence and Deck, and within a couple of weeks I had a beautiful new gate, and our fence that was shared with our neighbors was fixed with perfection! I was so impressed in the time it took them and the outcome of the work, simply stunning.
