History

Established in 1994.

I have been a Licensed/​Certified Massage Therapist since 1994. I graduated from massage school in Seattle, then slowly grew a private practice while gaining valuable experience working in various settings such as chiropractic offices, spas, health clubs, and corporate offices. I moved to Chicago in 2002 and by the time I left to move to San Jose I had a thriving clientele list and had gained great experience working part time in an Integrative Medical Center at one of the countries most respected hospitals. I have been in San Jose for 3 years now and have spent a good portion of that time raising my son… and have now started to concentrate more on building my private practice. To do this I have teamed up with DayDreams Massage (see Yelp reviews)…together we can cover any of your massage needs with confidence and excellent quality. Casey was absolutely amazing! I got a 1-​hour massage from him at Google in the middle of my work day, and it was just what I needed after these last few stressful weeks.
I hold a lot of stress and tension in my shoulders and neck, and his method of loosening up all these muscles was incredible. When I walked in, he immediately asked what areas that needed attention and any former injuries.
If you’re looking for deep tissue and PRESSURE, he is your guy!
He was very thorough in the 50 minutes that we had, and I felt like a new person when I walked out! He even gave me some advice, and where to continually stretch until next time.
It wasn’t until I came to this page, that I found out that he is an athlete and an artist. And that totally makes sense, because he’s extremely thorough and gifted at what he does.
Book him, you won’t regret it! :-)

Casey is truly one of the best therapists I’ve seen. I have chronic issues in my shoulder and mid back. Casey is the one therapist that makes a difference for me. He knows so much about human anatomy, so I always ask a ton of questions about what’s happening in my own body. He has taught me a lot about how to «self-​care» between appointments (stretching, yoga poses, posture, etc). I also love his demeanor. He’s calm and quiet, but also quite willing to talk if that’s what you want. He brings the pragmatic knowledge of a physical therapist and combines it with a more metaphysical understanding of yoga and breathwork, so you feel like your whole self is being attended to. I always feel better after seeing Casey.

Casey is amazing, and he gave me one of the very best massages I have ever had, and I have had a lot! He has a great energy about him and he knows how to work your muscles to relieve all your tension. I personally don’t like deep massage, and even though Casey has the strength (enough for my husband), he found the perfect amount of pressure for me. Since my massage, I have been telling my friends about him. Then I realized I haven’t even reviewed him on Unilocal yet. If you are looking for a serious massage, I recommend him 100%. You will not be disappointed.

Casey has been such a great therapist for me, having treated me over the past 5 years. He has a very intuitive sense of massage and with the various methods that he knows (deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cranial sacral techniques), he is able to bring a wide range of treatments to my massage sessions. He has a nice disposition and personality and is not overbearing but will offer opinions when appropriate. I work all day, much of it in front of the computer, and also run and strength train. He’s offered good advice about how to avoid tension and muscle strain which has helped prevent some symptoms I typically get. I recommend Casey highly.

I am a professional ballet dancer with Ballet San Jose for 15 years now and I can honestly say that I couldn’t do what I do without the healing powers of massage. Casey is one of the few massage therapist that can actually go deep enough into my muscles and tendons to release tension and provide relief. As he was an athlete himself, I feel that he has a better understanding of the needs for professionals who use their bodies as their instruments. He is very thorough in his hour sessions and will never cut you short on time even if he is running a little late. On top of being an innately skilled therapist, he is a very well rounded person with a lot of interesting experiences which enhance his abilities. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been seeing Casey on and off for the past year and a half. I’ve gone to him for everything, and i always get fixed.
I have tendinitis in my arms which flares up once or twice a year. After a few sessions with Casey, my arms are back to ship shape. Not only does he have extensive experience with sports injury massage, he knows his anatomy. I’ve been getting massages for 15 years throughout the country (Seattle, Los Angeles, and Bay area) and Casey is one of the best.
So yes, he fixes any problems you might be having — tendinitis, sore back, stiff neck, etc., but he is a consumate professional and you come away relaxed. I have had experience with therapists who address you as if they were a purely a physical therapist, cold& calculating. Casey addresses the whole problem, and realizes that the neck bone connects to the hip bone, connects to the leg bone. I sent my fiancé to Casey for her first ever professional massage, and she said she’s never been so relaxed.
