Established in 2012.

Life is pretty hectic, especially these days. Between work, family, traffic, shopping… there’s just not enough time in the day to get everything done and spend the quality time you want with your pets… so let us help you.

When we lived in Southern California we searched tirelessly for dog walkers and day care services, but we never felt comfortable with kennels or boarding houses. They just seems to impersonal, cramming a bunch of dogs together in a room with little human interaction.

We wanted to find someone who would care for our dogs the way we cared for them… like a family member, giving them lots of love and attention. When we moved to San Jose, we started sitting for some family members and friends. The dogs loved us and so did their owners. We had many people tell us we should start our own business because they were sure many other people would love and appreciate the kind of service we provided… and so, Buddy’s Dog Walk & Day Care Service was born.

My name is John and I’ve had dogs all my life. I believe dogs are some of the best companions and friends you can ever have.

I have an education in Computer Science and worked with computers for most of my work history and I’ve always had a love for taking care of dogs too.

I really enjoy being around dogs. They make me laugh with their personalities and I feel really at home taking care of them.
