Branham Unocal 76

I came to the auto shop that’s connected to the 76 gas station. The guys here are the sweetest. Even the owner. They do quality work that you know you will not disappoint. Like another reviewer say, give these guys some chances and come support.

Only come here because it’s the closest gas station to my place. Services is mediocre. No car wash though. And gas is a bit pricy but what do you expect it’s 76. It’s always expensive. Its conveniently located on the corner of branham and snell in a very busy plaza. I mean if you want to save money go somewhere else but if you’re like me and live within walking distance of this place don’t. In the end it’ll cost more money to drive to somewhere else to save a couple or cent.

Great service, high quality gas but there’s no car wash and not very cheap gas prices I love 76 and Chevron gasoline but this location need little help.

Gas is a little pricey here. It’s always a good $ 0.20-$ 0.30 more than say Arco. It’s just conveniently located in a plaza that has everything like a McDonalds and Safeway. It’s a nice stop before or after work.
I like that they have a little recycle/​good will bin close by if you ever want to donate your old clothes.
They also have a station for service so you’ll see lots of cars parked around that are being spruced up.

Took my pickup truck there to diagnose and fix 2 issues that caused smog test failure. Had truck for 2 days. Was charged 180.00 to be told I needed 2 new catalytic convertors. When I asked how they were tested, the mechanic couldn’t tell me how he did it. A split and cracked vent pipe on the gas tank was never addressed. It was the problem all along. I repaired it for $ 7.00. I won’t go back .The owner is Slim Shady.

I went in and asked how much to get brake pads replaced on my car. The attendant inside told me it should be around $ 160 but that i should speak with the owner. I spoke with the owner and he quoted me $ 300.
This place quoted me $ 300 for brake pads… other places in the area quote $ 130 – 180 tops…
Crazy.

Last time I ever come here for a smog test…
Obviously, I came here to get my biannual smog check. I had a feeling it wasn’t going to pass the inspection part of the smog test due to my after market exhaust. And… I was right.
The reason I would never come back to these guys is because they only want your money. In the beginning of my smog check, the smog tech checked under my car to inspect the parts to make sure they were all legal. I noticed him checking it for a good 5 – 10 min, kept looking at me, then went ahead and proceeded with the smog check. He ran all the tests, backed my car out and then told me the news…
He told me that it didn’t pass because of my exhaust and that I would have to get it fixed before it would actually pass. I am livid because he knew well before he performed the test that it would fail because of this. With that, they just want your money any way they can and don’t give a lick about customer service. I definitely will not be ever coming back here again.

Had my oil changed here while I got my grocery shopping done. Very convenient.

WORST service i have ever experienced in my life, and that’s not an over exaggeration. Don’t go to this gas station. Go to the cheaper one down the street. The hindu manager was an a**hole. You know that saying «customers are always right» well in my job experiences I’ve learned that this saying isn’t always correct but iN my case it was. I was received the worst smog service from their smog techs and the manager didn’t take his time to listen to my side of the story. i received harassing phone calls and i had to take it up with the better business bureau. They will be contacted shorty and i hope they do something about this. This is unacceptable behavior. i WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN IN MY LIFE. I hope you all take the time to read my review and take what I said into consideration. DO NOT COME HERE! Thank you.

I work in this shopping plaza and I was a little overdue for an oil change. I checked their reviews online and all the current ones were great. I called to check on pricing and hours. They answered before it rang 3 times and were polite, friendly and helpful. I dropped off my car a little later and asked if I could pick it up three hrs later because I was on my lunch break. They said the garage was closed by then (6pm) but that the gas station is 24 hrs and they’ll hold my keys for me. Awesome!!! I came at 6:30, and the gas attendant had my keys and paperwork. I paid, happy as a clam, and left. The oil change was $ 35.00 and I asked about a smog test (my sister’s car needs it)-$ 39 or $ 49 with certification (I think, maybe a dollar or two less).

I took my car to Nassir for a smog check. I was looking for the best price. He gave me a flat rate of $ 49 including cert. I decided to bring my car back for a brake job. I had approved the cost of replacing pads and rotors. However, he called me and advised me that my pads still had about 40% life left. Most other shops would have just done the work and charged for it. This is just one example. I have had several such interactions with Nassir. It all comes down to trust and he has earned my trust with regards to repairs to my cars.

Don’t go here! For a smog at least. Worst service ever. The smog tech was rude. I failed the first time because of my service engine light so I went got it reset drove around for 60 miles like he said and came back for my retest and he told me I couldn’t have fixed it that fast. I told him it was fine and go ahead and do the test. He proceeded to tell me it wasn’t going to pass. I preceded to tell him to test it. He finally did and it seemed as though he was trying to find something wrong with my car. The test took longer then the first time and he put a lot more effort into it. And as I thought it would, my car passed. The owner also had his child (2 or 3 years old) running around the shop. To me that’s unsafe. First and last time I will ever go here. I don’t appreciate being treated the way I did.

See those movies with classic small down business treating the customers great? Yeah thats this place!

Nassir, the owner is the only person I trust my car to. When I was looking for a good, reliable used car I took the 2 I was serious about to Nassir. I am SO glad I did! He gave me some good recommendations on models and checked those cars from top to bottom, gave me advice on what to offer the sellers vs their asking price. I really feel like this man treats me as he would someone is his own family. He’s the BEST! I dont know if I can find a cheaper price somewhere else, I feel completely in good hands when I go to him. He has a customer for life.

The team here helped me with my newly acquired 14 year old car. The car passed almost everything on the smog test except the gas cap wasn’t regulation. The owner, Nassir took the gas cap off his own car and sold it to me at cost so I would pass! That’s EXCEPTIONAL customer service.

Great service. Have taken my car to Nazzir for 3 years now and never had problems. Its very hard to find service this good. Definitely recommend. Have taken my car to other gas stations in the past and of course they mysteriously break down 2 months later, not here though.

If I could give this zero stars I would. This place charges 45 dollars for an oil change, drove my vehicle over my bike helmet and backpack, destroying both.
When I tried to resolve this, they just shrugged. I would never use them again, and CERTIANLY not recomment this company.

Quick, efficient, and friendly.
I’ll def. be back for more minor service — give these guys a chance, they deserve it.

I go here for all my service needs. The owner is super nice and very helpful. Whenever I stop by to get gas in my car the owner asks how my car is. I find that very refreshing that people are still like that. Usually businesses are just like a factory get customers in and out to make more money. I don’t feel this 76 station is like that at all. That is what keeps me coming back.
