History

Established in 1991.

Since inception, we have provided ethical, honest, and cost effective mediation, counseling, and consultation solutions to employers and employees facing the global effects of occupational and non-​occupational injuries & illnesses, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

We provide conflict transformation and mediation services between individuals, groups, and businesses for a wide variety of conflict and dispute areas to include: interpersonal communication challenges, disability accommodation, eldercare isssues, parent-​teen struggles, divorce, victim-​offender, civil & workplace harassment, and discrimination.

Our objective is to promote and enhance peaceful, creative, and helpful communication between people that transforms destructive conflict into a more positive and productive force, which can help people and enterprises grow.

Karen B.

Business Owner

Karen is a certified Mediator (UC Berkeley, Cal State Univ Dominguez Hills, Co of Santa Clara), Disability Manager (CPDM), Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS), and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is bi-​lingual and bi-​literate in Spanish.

She has worked since 1986 within the Worker’s Compensation arena on thousands of employer-​employee cases, providing vocational counseling, investigation, case development, job evaluation, litigation support, disability management strategy consultation and mediation /​facilitation services.

Since 2009, she has served as a highly successful Mediator with the Santa Clara County Dispute Resolution Program and Superior Court of Santa Clara, working in the areas of: civil harassment, business disputes, community conflict, DA referral, divorce, eldercare and probate, parent-​teen, victim-​offender, and small claims. She has taught conflict resolution and communication skills.
