This place can be a bit difficult to find the first time. It’s around the back behind the 880 Motors building and can’t be seen from the street. This is a one woman show. Even though she takes walk ins, my husband and I pretty much always need an appointment to get the times that work for us. I recommend calling ahead instead of just dropping by. This therapist has the perfect knack for digging into your muscles without it being painful. Couple this with her sweet personality and it really makes for a pleasant session. It is Ashiatsu, so very forceful and she will do heel work on your back if you ask(i.e. «walk on your back»). I feel boneless when I leave. No. Really. Probably the best Ashiatsu practitioner around. There is a shower attached to the rooms, so if you hate the greasy feeling of massage oil that accompanies most sessions, you can wash it off when you’re finished. You do have to book this ahead of time though — appointment times and all that. She is not a native English speaker, so there are times she has difficulty understanding you. It has yet to negatively impact our sessions, but she has trouble with certain phrases. Just go in prepared to clarify slang and such.
