My name is Isabella (my friends sometimes call me Bella or Izzy) and I am 12 years old and in 7^th grade. About 2 and a half years ago my mom was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, she stays home most of the time and that has been a chance for us to spend more time together. Last year I started getting some pimples and did not want to leave the house! My doctor told me it was normal for me at my age, but also recommended I reduce dairy products & oily foods. I started researching «healthy eating» on the internet and learned to stay away from; fast food, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives. During the Holidays, we started making really fun Nut Butters as gifts. I really felt good when I saw people enjoy the different butters that we made, especially when they started asking for more!
