BayCal Dumpster

I had a great experience working with Mohammed. He followed up, was easy to work with, was forthcoming about all the details and pricing on our first call together. My family and I decided to go with Mohammed despite the negative reviews posted here and gave BayCal the benefit of the doubt. We are so glad we did!
The dumpster arrived when Mohammed said it would — early, even. The driver was courteous enough to wait for me even though I was running late, and placed it exactly where I asked him to. He spent some time showing me how the doors worked and was pleasant and friendly. We had the dumpster for a full 7 days to use at our disposal, and when we were finished with it, BayCal swiftly picked it up as requested. Although I did not shop around (BayCal was the first and last company I called), prices were reasonable for our family.
You were a joy to work with, Mohammed. Thank you for being so accommodating towards our family and our needs. We will definitely be using you again should we need hauling for another renovation project.

Wow! All these negative reviews are spot on!
Our house flooded this week and BayCal was hired by our remediation company to deliver a 40yd dumpster. BayCal’s driver Jose, arrived on time. However, he hit one of our vehicles multiple times during the delivery. Not to mention the dumpster definitely had better days, it was deformed and rusty. Even more concerning was the quantity of oil the delivery truck left on our driveway pavers and all the way down our street. I called their office immediately and spoke to Joseph, he was apologetic and asked me to email him pictures. I sent him all the necessary photos and he has never replied nor returned any calls from our remediation company. Heed the warnings in these reviews.

I hired the services of BayCal Dumpster for my home clean-​up during the remodeling of my home and was nicely surprised as to how accommodating they were. The dumpster arrived as scheduled in the afternoon and I was not charged for that day. After the seventh agreed upon date, I called to extend for one more day which was no problem for them. In fact, the attendant told me that we could keep the bin for two additional days without charge. Boy, was I relieved. Thank you BayCal Dumpster.

Big shout out to baycal dumpsters for not coming through for me today. Wasted a whole fucken day. DONT NOT USE THERE SERVICE. GOT NO CALL BACK. UNTIL I CANCELED. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DAMMMM. I would have been fired already. Get your ish together Mohammed. In the future a phone could have resolved the matter. learn from this bad review make your company better not worse.

One star would be less if they had it every time I see their trucks there spewing Blacksmoke their trucks should be turned in to the CHP is gross polluter’s nobody should be supporting a company like pay some money fix your trucks or buy new ones or close your doors

This company is a joke. Please do not do business with these people.
We set up to have a dumpster at 1pm. After numerous attempts of calling and leaving messages. No one answers.
Still no container.
Then at 245 we get a text stating «sorry we missed your call «and a different phone number.
We called. He gave some story about how the driver got in a car accident and the container was damaged. Well apparently his driver was drunk. What a great way to run a business. No communication, no product. more like empty promises.
He promised one by 430.
430 came and still no container. He didnt answer his phone and went strait to voicemail.
This place is a joke.
Don’t waist your time because they defiantly will.

All their trucks are GROSS POLLUTERS. Do not use this company as they continue to drive these trucks. Should be reported to DMV and EPA. Find your dumpster elsewhere.

I was stuck behind one of the BC Dumpster trucks this morning (CA License Plate 7J44301) while driving in traffic through Milpitas. This truck was spewing thick black smoke every time the driver hit the gas pedal to move from a standing stop. The emissions from the truck were disgusting, especially knowing that today is a «Spare the Air» day.
If you have any concern for our environment, find your dumpster somewhere else as it’s quite clear that these guys have none!

DO NOT. DON’T JUST STOP. PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE.
My dad ordered a dumpster sometime during the week set to be delivered on a Friday around 10am. So my dad took the day off work and was here to meet the delivery driver. Dumpster never showed up. Called around 2−3pm and no answer. Waited and called again, no answer. Oh did I mention voicemail was full. Now it’s 5−6pm, my dad is worried and calls another company. This company politely asks who bailed on us and said as nicely as possible, «oh, they’re…difficult.» The receptionist proceeded to explain how we would only be able to get ahold of the ringleader by texts and this is a constant complaint they hear about BayCal. Finally after a few texts my dad received a phone call from an apologetic man that their truck had broken down.
You know what, that’s a real bummer, but any decent business person with an ounce of professionalism would have made courtesy calls. Having already scheduled a new dumpster and feeling extremely heated from the lack of professionalism, my dad declined to do any further business with the company and asked for a refund to his account by Monday morning. Monday came and went, no phone call, no refund, no answer. Now here we are at Thursday… still no refund. Absolutely unacceptable. Not only did my dad lose a day of pay, but still no refund (that was promised to be here 4 days ago) posted to his account.
Another helpful hint from the dumpster company we chose to go with is that BayCal doesn’t pick up their dumpsters until they need them so you could have a full dumpster sitting in front of your house for an extended period of time. NOT COOL.
I’m so thrilled that some other people have had positive experiences with this company, but looking at all the reviews, I just don’t think it’s worth the risk.

This company is fantastic! They were so accommodating. They worked with me to make sure I got a dumpster on the dates I needed to have it and they were very flexible when I requested more time with the rental. I had a very pleasant experience with this company!

Baycal dumpsters provides a great customer experience. I ordered easily over the phone and scheduled the drop off. They arrived on time and put the dumpster right where I needed it. Prompt fast service, I would definitely recommend them and will use them for my next project.

My family and I had to clean out my mother’s house in the Bay Area after she died and BayCal Dumpster was an integral part.
BayCal Dumpster was extremely accommodating, they went and looked at the area before and suggested a couple of locations and when we needed it relocated they were able to do that too. They were nothing but helpful and their prices are the lowest of anyone else around.
Their customer service is fantastic and they really went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us, so I am extremely grateful they were there to help me and my family out. You should definitely use them!

Bay Cal did a good job for my needs as a real estate agent, called up last minute looking for a dumpster for my client and it worked out great! After an initial delay, Mo took are of what he said he would do for us and worked with me until the job was complete. I would definitely use them again…

I have used Moh company for over 4 years now. I can’t say if others had good experience or not, but he has come thru for us every time. There was 1 time we had a pickup delay but over the last 80+ dumpster we have had from Baycal I have never had problem. He always is available on the phone or via text. I would give him 9 out of 10 for his work and effort. Why I wrote a review after 4 year today is that I needed a dumpster on a very very short notice today. He was there and said he will do his best but that was not the best part. He actually took a picture and showed me where my location of his delivery is. Wow smart use of technology. We use him for commercial and construction.

I don’t want to waste more than 1 minute on this review. But this small business has no concept of running business. I can’t believe they are still around. Look at some of the other reviews and see for yourself. Just want to warn to public. STAY AWAY.

Hello… updating review. Would have never put a bad review out here if the company offered to take money off for missed wages from work. My hundred lost close to 200 dollars in pay waiting on the dumpster to be dropped off and then to be picked up. All we asked was for a phone call back. Good business offers to make up for the time and money clients lost due to their neglengence. Do you think we have gotten a phone call asking what they could do to help the situation. Of course not. I will not take down my post until the company learns how to treat clients.

These guys rocks… My contactor bailed out on me and left in a middle of a job. I had to do a cleanup within a day before I start paying large penalties. When I searched Unilocal,I was initially skeptical of calling the BayCal Dumpster. I called all others but nobody was welling to provide a dumpster within 2 hours.
Finally, I decided to call BayCal. I talked to Moe. He was a nice, understanding and easygoing fellow. He assured me that I will get top service. In less than an hour, I had a dumpster at my door and 6 hours later he picked it up as promised.
They are life savers. I will definitely use them again for my next job.

After Reading all the Unilocal reviews I was very hesitant to use their services. But I know enough that most often than not it’s a matter of opinions from either disgruntled consumers or pleased consumers. Usually it’s the disgruntled consumers that have the loudest voices.
I had an open communication with Mohammed and told him my concerns about the reviews on Unilocal and he assured me that everything was going to be okay. I believe in most cases, COMMUNICATION is key. I was always updating Mohammed via phone and text which helped a lot.
Let’s put it this way I was extremely satisfied to a point where I used their services twice in a matter of three days. I would say to each his own. And the most important factor is OPEN COMMUNICATION. I would use their services again in a heartbeat.

For me based on my service, I was absolutely happy. I was looking for these 3 points and they provided all of them…1) Hassle free, no hidden fees! 2) Low rates, I called a bunch of companies & they were the cheapest for a 20 ft. 3) Prompt service, they delivered the dumpster the next day early morning & picked it the day I requested.
Our contractor was behind schedule and we needed to keep the dumpster a few extra days & Mohammed was very accommodating. I would absolutely use them again!

I read the other reviews but feel compelled to say that I had a great experience with BayCal. I called and my missed call was promptly returned even though I didn’t leave a message.
There are a lot of complaints about how long it took to have the dumpster picked up.
I read these and to be fair the company rents the dumpsters out for a set amount of days. I’m wondering how many of the folks may not have mentioned that their dumpster could’ve been ready before the rental period ended?
Since I knew my do-​it-​yourself re-​roof project was going to finish early, I scheduled a pick up via text message job was ending I called 72 hours in advance. I think it’s fair to allow the organization 3 days to get their schedule aligned.
I would definitely use BayCal again!
