All these people with good reviews unfortunately don’t know what is really going on. If you want a dentist who uses expired materials and cheap made in China products he’s your guy. Also don’t be surprised when your insurance gets charged for something that was never done. I wouldn’t trust this so called dentist to any of my family or friends.

What a nice dentist. I unfortunately have a lot of work to have done, but he’s so nice about it. What I really like is how he gave me an order as to the most urgent to the least. He’s got a great sense of humor, and doesn’t embarrass his patients if they have cavities or other issues. His hygienist is sweet and calming, and all other staff equally welcoming. This made the dentist not terrible. Yay!

Dr. Mehdizadeh is the best dentist out there, and his staff is outstanding as well. I’ve had a pretty involved procedure done recently with nearly zero discomfort and when numbness went away — no problems either. What I really like is that he keeps a patient informed about all the options, and what’s currently being done — i.e. he’s not like so many dentists who view everyone as a «set of teeth». Dr. Mehdizadeh treats everyone like a person first — and that’s rare. Wow.

I have been going to Dr. Mehdizadeh for about 15 years now. I have seen dozens of dentists in the past and when I found him my search was over! He is very gentle and caring. I have had root canals, bridgework, you name it. I have never been in pain during or after the procedures. He always makes sure you are comfortable and will occassionaly ask if you are «okay» during a procedure. He has always done excellent work and has a pleasant personality. In the past with other dentists i would get dizzy after a novacaine shot. Dr. Mehdizadeh has somehow kept that from happening to me. He injects it slowly and probably uses less than the previous dentists. It goes to show that he listens to his patients and works with them on any such issues they may have. I finally found a dentist that I don’t mind going to see. Dr. M and his staff are all amazing. I have had a mouth full of cavities filled, a root canal, a cleaning, and a crown done in his office. He is a perfectionist which is a great quality in a dentist. He makes sure everything feels and looks right before he finishes. He uses what seem like the latest and greatest of dental technology (laser light to set the fillings, HD camera to take pics of your teeth, etc). Also, he is gentle and shows concern for patients comfort.
Gina at the front desk is especially easy to work with. She is friendly and helps in any way that she can with booking appts, making co-​payments, explaining treatment plans, etc. She is very efficient at her job, especially compared to other dental offices I have been to where the office staff seem like it’s always their first day on the job. My only gripe is that the office is not open for weekend appointments which means I have to take time off work to go in. This isn’t too bad as they have been able to give me the last appointment of the day every time.

Great experience. I’ve been at this office around 2000, and then again when I moved back to the Bay Area. The doctor explained procedures and alternatives very well, and was always accessible for advice and help, and assisted with payment. Unfortunately he does appear to be booked well in advance, but for emergencies I expect he can make exceptions.

I just wanted to say a few words of praise for Dr. Medhizadeh and his staff. I admittedly do not see a dentist with the frequency that I should and part of that is due to the typical anxiety that most people have about dentist visits. When I made the appointment, I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful both at the front desk and in the treatment areas. As a new patient to the practice, the team welcomed me and made sure I was taken care of. Dr. Medhizadeh is immediately disarming and gives you a sense of confidence of his skill along with his already impressive academic credentials. In the end, the work he did (that spanned multiple visits) was really impressive and focused on my experience and level of comfort with everything that he was doing. He is patient and gives you the play-​by-​play if you want it. His office is completely clean and has what appears to be some of the latest technologies. I would highly recommend Dr. Medhizadeh to anyone who is looking for an exceptional experience in addition to expert care. Don’t forget to floss :)

Best Dentist I’ve ever had. I don’t mind going to the dentist now… I waited 20 years too long to have my wisdom teeth pulled and Doc did them in 5 or 10 minutes… I didn’t even know he started.

This is a quick review, since someone just asked me to recommend a dentist. This is my family dentist and he’s great. Prompt. Latest techniques. Friendly staff. He is very skilled, explains everything and offers many options. The staff is willing to help research insurance and keep you from doing paperwork, calling around, etc. Highly recommended.
