My wellness location purpose is to educate clients and provide an effective massage which in turn will result in long term results. I am able to do this by combining several technique’s and staying within a comfortable pressure level. These techniques work to realign muscle tissue fibers and eliminate adhesions.

Since I schedule appointments and take calls myself, I do my best at providing excellent customer service and have added an on line scheduler for your convenience.

My vision is to provide a safe and relaxing environment where proper healing can take place for the mind, body and spirit.

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to Thank All of my client’s who have helped make my dream come true. I have been able to create a healthy environment where people allow me to help their bodies heal properly. My goal is and has always been to take care of you in a safe and nurturing manner. I believe the body is amazing and since we live in Silicon Valley, we usually forget to relax, unwind and be in the moment. Here we customize each session to meet your needs. I have heard so many times that massage is looked at as a «luxury», truth is we demand our bodies to do so much that it is essential to treat our muscles so that they can continue performing.

My grandmother was very ill in her early 50’s. As time progressed so did her illnesses. During Chemo, Dialysis and daily struggles there was only one thing that would take the edge off of all the pain…“Massage”. I used to rub her legs with alcohol and the look of peace and contentment was the most rewarding feeling I have ever felt.

I just had my first appointment with Astounding Massage therapist, Angelique, who was professional and friendly and let me guide the session with the occasional suggestion or recommendation.
The office itself makes good use of the smaller square footage, only complaint was that the bathroom wasn’t the easiest to get in and out of.
The staff is friendly and the ambiance is very relaxing. I will definitely be coming back for regular sessions with Angelique as her techniques have already recentered me and let me rest free from many years of stored up stress.

Great massage therapists here! The favorite therapist for my bf is NIKKI and I book a 90 min sports massage (which is $ 120) appointment for him once every week or week. She really targets the problem areas and remembers what areas have improved or need more work. They provide much needed water after the session as well.
My bf is only in his mid-30’s yet has a lot of issues with flexibility and tightness in his muscles and we’ve tried a lot of different massage places. This is our favorite by far.
It’s easy to book appointments online and it even sends automated email reminders to confirm the day before.
There’s easy parking in their new location (they recently moved).

I got an AMAZING prenatal massage from Nikki. She was pleasant and really listened to me when I told her which areas needed the most attention. I told her I usually get deep tissue massages so she did a PERFECT job with the strong, firm pressure I need. She found the knots in my neck, shoulders, and feet immediately and worked hard to get them out. She even used some wonderful hot stones to help loosen things up more. She was friendly and open to conversation when I initiated, but she also gave me the space to drift in and out of sleep, which I so appreciated.
I especially loved the fact that I was able to book a massage on a Friday night, and get an appointment the following Saturday afternoon. The facility was cute and small. It wasn’t really a «high end spa» environment, but honestly that didn’t matter to me at all since the quality of the massage and service was an A++. What matters most to me is that I felt amazing during and after the massage. Nikki was extremely attentive, skilled, and comfortable to be with. The price was right for $ 85 for a 60-​minute massage. I will definitely see Nikki again!
Tip: Give yourself a few extra minutes to get there since the building can be a bit tricky to find. It’s a house converted into office suites so the parking lot is just a small area out front. I parked alongside the building since all the visitor parking spots were taken. I gave myself an extra 10 minutes to park and find the suite, and getting to my appointment on time wasn’t a problem at all.

I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend and I on Valentine’s Day. I read the reviews that raved about the couples massage and boy were they right. Nikki and Bianca were friendly, attentive, and cheerful. The service was great. The massage was wonderful and relaxing, plus they gave us a Valentine’s treat at the end with flowers and chocolates. I would absolutely go back again and again.

I went here for a prenatal massage last Saturday and I loved it. Angelic was great. She was professional and friendly as well. The place looks very clean and relaxing. The prenatal massage cost me $ 85 for 60 minutes and an extra 10 min. free when you check-​in on Unilocal.
I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Pros: great service. Very friendly staff. Scheduling website was convenient. It should include directions on where to go once inside the suite. I went upstairs to 202 only to be notified that there is another room downstairs by another client.
Cons: hard to find. I circled twice to find parking when it was just out front. Going inside the hardwood floors was loud and you can hear people as they walked around and even the people upstairs. The reception area was a bit small.

My wife and I had a 90 minute couple’s massage today with Nikki and Angelique. Both women were profession and extremely conscientious. They were mindful of our aches and pains and worked so hard to help us feel better. It was a pleasant and positive experience all around. We will be back!

Nikki is AMAZING! I have had tons of massages in my day and I can finally say that I have found the one! After years of neck, back pain and sports injuries, I have always turned to massage to help, but I always seem to leave feeling a little bummed and underwhelmed with the money I spent, as well as the results. Not the case here! I have been to Nikki 3 or 4 times now and this is the only massage I have ever had where I actually leave feeling better, more relaxed and in less pain. She has a great attitude, won’t talk or bother you during the massage (unless you want to talk I’m sure) and knows just the right pressure to give. See Nikki, it will be well worth your $ and your while. I cannot wait to go back!

Well Well Well, I think i found my massage place. Mind you I go for therapeutic massage vs a spa like environment, so please keep that in mind when reading this review. I was so very surprised at Cynthia’s massage technique because it was EXACTLY what i was looking for. She asks the right questions & checks-​in during her massage to make sure she is doing what you are looking for.
She has a strong hand which is what i needed for my neck & shoulder. Isn’t lazy with using her hands vs. elbow etc. I will be going back for sure! She is a treasure.

Cynthia was extremely caring and effective. I’ve had several back injuries and non-​stop issues with deep aches, nerve pain, constant spasms, scar tissue and countless seemingly permanent knots in my muscle tissue. I got the Therapeutic massage and let her do her thing. I went home and followed her advice on a few helpful tips and then had such a significant improvement in my sleep and pain levels that I was impressed. She knows what she’s doing and I feel confident I’m on the road to healing for the first time in a while. Thanks Cynthia!

Last week I went for my second massage in 2 weeks with Angelique (I think that was her name).
First time was decent, hence a return visit. I have a lot of knots in my upper back and asked for deep tissue both times. Both were hour long massages. After the second massage I walked away disappointed. For $ 85, it wasn’t deep tissue. She knew I had the knots there. I never got the Unilocal deal of the extra 10 minutes as advertised. That is secondary, really. I was truly seeking some relief of the back pain but mostly felt like she was giving me an expensive back scratch. During the massage she did check in with me at least once, for which I believe I requested more pressure. Didn’t happen. Also having left foot pain for which she did massage but then she went to my right which I would’ve preferred that time spent on my back. This massage was of lesser quality than 2 weeks prior. Both were scheduled in the evening. For that much money I really expected much more.

I bought a 90min prenatal massage for my friend. After a less than satisfactory experience with another masseuse, Cynthia invited my friend to return for a massage with her. This was the message my friend sent me after her massage with Cynthia:
«And it was all worth it. OMG that was amazing. I’m so glad I went back. Perfect amount of pressure and so consistent throughout the entire session. I was drooling all over the place :)»

My achilles tendon got messed up two years ago from overuse after a period of little exercise. I did PT, stretches, strengthening, rest, icing, all that stuff. I’m seeing Angelique for deep tissue massages in my calf muscles and is painful at times but for the first time in years I’m actually getting relief. She’s breaking up scar tissue and in the second session, parts of my calf that hurt last time don’t hurt any more. This is actual progress. As a result I am able to walk without feeling any twinges in my tendon. There’s still scar tissue left but I’ve only been to two sessions so far. Angelique is good at finding the scar tissue and breaking it up. Definitely worth it!

For our first year wedding anniversary; one of my husband’s presents for me was a massage.
He did good picking this place. We had a Couple’s Massage.
His massage therapist was Cynthia and mine was Nikki.
The place was very easy to find.
It’s one of those houses turned business offices along The Alameda. They had ample parking at the front house; and street parking is available.
My pre-​natal massage was aaaamaaaazing. It was my first pre-​natal massage ever.
Nikki had me lay on my side; with a long pillow tucked under my top leg. It was very comfortable. She asked which part I wanted focus on; which was my upper back. She did exactly as I asked and avoided points of my body that are not safe with pressure during pregnancy. She then had me switch sides to even out both sides of my body.
My husband and I came out so refreshed and relaxed. I would definitely do it all over again.
They are such professionals I am very pleased.
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of a much deserved Relaxing massage.

If I could give a 10 STAR, I would.
I first started going here because I was experiencing horrific whiplash for over a week. I could barely leave the house as the pain was so severe I felt like crying (and who likes crying in public?) Anyway, I had very little expectations that a massage would straighten me out but IT DID!
I was AMAZED after my massage because my whiplash completely went away the next day. I could not believe it because I thought I would probably need to go to the hospital to get serious medical care. My masseuse was beyond talented, I swear her fingers were like metal detectors. she could find and locate all problem areas, knots (in my case, boulders…) and dislodge them instantly. You will leave the place feeling reborn (I am NOT kidding.) Usually, I am not into all this new agey lingo but when it comes to Astounding Massage, they really live up to their name!
The prices are super reasonable. I’ve had massages regularly for most of my adult life, a lot of those in those «poshy» spas and massage places that greets you with champagne and chocolates, you pay a hefty price only to leave there feeling as shitty as you came in? Well, this place is not it. Sure you don’t get foofy champagne, but the place is professional, clean and the massage is nothing short of miraculous. She has a customer in me for life. Just last week I had some nasty knots in the right side of my shoulder and neck (stress…family…it’ll get ya) and was getting headaches almost daily. I went to her yesterday and she straightened me out and I am sleeping like a baby. I am converted!!!

Let me give you some insight on the stress I put my body through:
I’m a grappler. I do martial arts. I literally take a beating 2 – 3 hours a day, 6 days a week as a hobby. I had just finished a competition and my body was feeling it. My shoulders were so tight, it was hard to even reach around my back to scratch it. My elbow was also messed up. It was hyper extended by an «arm bar.» So there’s my physical stress. I’m also a receptionist and a student. There’s a lot of hovering over books and a desk and sitting up all day. I don’t really catch a break with my body.
I booked an appointment with Cynthia with a gift certificate I got for my birthday. Man, oh man. That lady worked some magic. I thought I was going to be worked hard because of how messed up my body was. I expected to grunt and maybe even cry but I took a few deep breaths at most. Everything was super comfortable and I occasionally drifted in and out our conversation.
When she was done, I felt completed liberated from any tightness and pain. My elbow used to hurt when I’d bring it around my back but the pain hasn’t returned since! I can’t even begin to describe how brand new my body felt. Aside from the amazing work, we clicked really well. I was able to enjoy my time with her with a lot of good talks and she was just an overall delight.

Cynthia is awesome! I went for the first time this past week as my wife found out about this place on Unilocal.Now I’m a skeptic for massage places simply because I think it’s generally overpriced and I somehow always come out feeling like I paid money for not much of anything.
I’ve been having some back and shoulder pain recently so my wife made the appointment. I went and met Cynthia. I told her where I was having pain and to my surprise — she listened and really focused in on where I was hurting. The pressure applied was just what I wanted and she checked in with me frequently to make sure everything was ok.
I recommend this place simply because the treatment is «to the point!» no fluff!

Taking note of Harini’s review that 60 minutes is too short, I booked a 90 minute couple’s massage for the beau and I for his birthday. Cynthia responded back right away and was very accommodating to the time I wanted.
The place is super cute and easy to find. Parking spaces were clearly marked ‘Visitors’ so it was a no brainer on where to park. Cynthia and Nicole were waiting for us upstairs. After she asked us about our preferences, Nicole led us in the room to get undressed. Nicole worked on me, and had very strong hands. I told her I worked at a computer desk all day long, and she really worked my upper back, especially my scapular area! I was pretty sore the next day. She also massaged my pectoral area and when she did, I knocked out! It was THAT good.
The beau loved Cynthia’s massage. He has a problematic back and she relieved it for him for the rest of the day. I liked that she kept asking him how he felt and if the pressure level was good. He told me after that her massage was amazing.
Afterwards, she gave us some exercising tips to go and I gave her a 20% tip back. ;)
Tip: Check in when you get there so you can get an extra 15 minutes added to your massage!
