Proud to be the first to review — These guys are up and coming! Bobby and Prometheus at Army of Harmony deserve 10 stars for their skills, attitude, and professionalism.
I hired them for my wedding last month and they brought down the house. They know their music, their audience, and how to keep a party going. I’m not kidding, more than a dozen people (who could barely stop dancing) yelled to me, «Where did you find these guys, cuz they are AMAZING!!!»
Truth is, I found them at a professional law function (yes, we lawyers love a good party), where after just a few minutes of hearing them mix 5 of my favorite songs in a row like they were psychic DJs, I told my friend/​bridesmaid Naomi P. «These guys better do weddings. Cuz I am hiring them right now.» And I did.
Bobby and Pro were flexible, humble, and responsible from the start. They met with my fiancé & me in person, and asked us the questions we didn’t think of (ie. «How many feet from the DJ booth are the speeches going to take place so we can make sure the wireless mics work from that distance?») They also read my mind and suggested playing my favorite old school 90’s R&B for the dinner portion while everyone was eating. Like I said… Psychic.
Most importantly, they delivered. They arrived early to set up and stayed till the bitter end. These guys work hard. Also, I asked Pro to MC and he did a fantastic job, following my script while also improvising as the circumstances required with a great MC voice that fit the black-​tie affair.
Aside from amazing music taste, Army of Harmony also read my mind and never committed these technical pet peeves of mine: any song getting played too long, or sudden breaks in the music. They literally did a perfect job that resulted in everyone dancing nonstop until we were kicked out of the restaurant. Bobby and Pro were also conscientious enough to let us know when the restaurant was shutting us down; Pro personally found me on the dance floor to ask what I’d like to hear for our last song.
I highly recommend Army of Harmony for any of your entertainment needs. They are versatile and can rock ANY function — from an intimate professional event to a 200-​guest wedding.
