I’ve been using Unilocal for years, but had never felt compelled to write a review until now. I’m completely blown away by Paul’s kindness and excellent service!
Some crazy lady reversed into my car on the freeway (don’t ask me how it happened) so I needed some very minor body work done on my bumper. Called a body shop that was 5 minutes away from my house 40 minutes before their closing time but they told me I couldn’t bring it in for an estimate. Went to Apex, Paul looked at my car, immediately pulled it up to the garage and started working on it. It looked as good as new when he was done. Best of all, he gave me an awesome deal!
As a woman, I find it difficult to deal with most service people in the automotive industry. Not the case with Paul and Henry. They treated me with respect and kindness. Apex will be my go-​to body shop!

This place is so awesome I almost want to keep it on the down low, but credit needs to be given where credit is due. Long story short I had some add ons to my 2016 WRX. I called some places to get a quote on the work. When I went in I thought they had quoted me half, I was stoked. But then, I think the work went quicker than anticipated. Ended up billing me about ¹⁄₅ of what everyone else quoted me for the work. What people told me would take 4 – 5 hours they did in about an hour. Everything looks fantastic. I’m coming back to this place for everything I can. Thank you Apex! Five stars isn’t enough!

This is for Henry! He helped me out so much with my Audi A4 after I was rear ended and stuck with the deductible from my insurance company. It took no time at all to get it fixed and the trunk/​bumper looks brand new. Henry is absolutely fantastic and if anything else ever happens to my car, I’m coming straight back here! :)

Apex Auto Body is amazing. I first used them years ago to get the fenders on my Camaro rolled, and Paul did an amazing job. I recently had to use them again, because my brand new car got rear ended. Paul took my car in, and had it fixed up looking like nothing happened within a few days.
They will definitely be my body shop of choice for future repairs.

Henry is awesome!
I was having a minor scratch on the glossy black moulding on my car from some bird poops (bad luck). Henry was so considerate and passing me honest suggestion trying to save me some unnecessary loss money on the repair. He even tried waxing the scratches for me free-​of-​charge and see if he can save me the significant repair cost.
In real, i can actually live with the minor scratch (hard to notice anyway after the buffing). However, I truly want to give these guys my business (even though it’s not a big $$ job) to show my appreciation.

These is the best body shop I have ever been to! Seriously, I have been to a few in my lifetime and these guys are super fast, super cool and super professional. I highly recommend Apex.

I have the worst luck when it comes to being hit by others or getting into accidents. Paul is my hero whenever my babies gets messed up. He fixes my cars up like new and provides the best service possible. That’s why I also refer friends and coworkers to him because they get the job done professionally and he doesn’t rip you off like some shops do. ***** shop on my list

BEST PAINT SHOP IN SAN JOSE.
Took our 2014 Hellcat hood to get painted, we were very anxious to see it, came in and they were buffing it out. When we returned the hood was painted perfectly.
Next, we took in our 2014 Hellcat spoiler made of fiberglass, came to check it out and it had pinholes in it (very very hard to paint) he assured us he was going to redo it and make it perfect, didn’t try to just give it to us, when we returned to pick it up it was PERFECT!
Will be taking EVERYTHING here to get painted.
Best of all, prices are very very good!

Brought my BMW here several years ago and the repair was done flawlessly and relatively inexpensively. So when I needed help again recently I remembered to come back here. These guys are really great people too; they really do watch out for your pocket book and will advise on what to do (or not). This is now my go-​to bodyshop!

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for Paul’s work at Apex Auto Body yet since I’ve been going to him for years now.
As most of you know, I am very particular about who touches my car, and the work that is done. I’ve been to a fair number of body shops, detail shops etc. and haven’t been nearly as happy with the work as I have with Paul. Although I love my detailers (Spider Auto Glass), once in a while a detail just can’t help you buff out some inconsiderate jerk who parking lot hit n’ run on you when you just got a brand new detail job.
That’s where Apex Auto comes in. Paul is friendly, reliable and always happy to help. Whatever the problem is, he makes me feel like he has a good handle on it, and promptly does the work, often going above and beyond. I always feel like I’m getting a killer deal and wonder how he’s still in business because of all the extra work he does :)
I know I can trust Paul and his guys to do modifications, paint, or just simply fix my poor car that was rear ended by again … thoughtless drivers on the road so that it is as good as new and sometimes better.
He also has great contacts for clear bras and other car-​related services that he doesn’t do and makes sure to bring the car to these other shops to get everything done so when its returned to you, you didn’t have to do ANY leg work! Seriously solid — this is why Apex has been around for so long and why I will continue to go to Paul for all my body shop repair needs.

These guys are the best. I called in to get a price quote and they told me to bring it in tomorrow morning so they can look at it and give me an accurate price quote based on the work needed. I came in with my 2004 Subaru WRX to get an STI trunk spoiler installed because I gave up on doing it at home. I was too scared to drill 12 more holes into my trunk and expect it to be perfect. So I brought it to the big boys.
I came in at 10am and spoke with Paul. He told me to park in the garage and show him the spoiler. After I took it out, Paul and his partner, Henry, both dropped what ever they were working on to start on my car. After evaluating the vehicle and the work needed, Paul told me that it was going to cost $ 70 for an hour of labor. He asked me if I was okay with that, I was extremely happy with the price because everywhere else I brought it to tried to rob me. Telling me $ 300 for 2 hours of work and other nonsense. These guys are HONEST and they live off of compliments and Vietnamese Coffee.
During the installation, Paul and Henry both interacted with me by walking me through the process and even throwing some jokes at me. It made the hour go by very fast. I was lacking bolts but they had an abundance on deck so I didn’t feel bad for shorting them on parts. They also noticed that my spoiled was missing 4 bolts so they secured my spoiler even more by adding in more bolts for me.
I was extremely happy with their service and customer service so I told them I’d be back with some coffee. Came back with some nice Vietnamese Coffees and they all looked extremely happy about it. They looked like someone put them on a strict diet and we’re being fed sugar for the first time in years.
Apex is my go to spot for body work for sure from now on. Thanks Paul and Henry!

I needed a quote for an insurance claim. Paul was prompt, courteous, and an all around stand up guy. I came on recommendation of a friend who (for whatever reason) always has his car in the body shop lol.
I hope I don’t follow my friend’s trend but I look forward to giving Paul some business in the future as he is a trustworthy and dependable guy

Paul is hands down the most awesome body shop owner i’ve met.
I needed to get a front lip and rare diffuser installed on my car, call him on the morning and he was able to squeeze me in on the same day to have them installed. He is professional and very welcoming, and the end product looked great. I live in San Francisco, but I am willing to drive down to San Jose anytime to have Paul take care of car. Major props to Paul and his team.

Henry, the awesome owner, fixed my car after my humongous freeway accident. Another place told me the car could never be fixed, by my man Henry fixed it up just like new and also gave me a free Bambu drink. Crazy! Go here. Best. Auto. Body. Shop. Ever.

Paul @ Apex is great.
My family has been taking our cars here for years (unfortunately) because of accidents over time. Its a typical auto body shop– where it looks like a warehouse… but the work is very good.
Every car we have taken to him– Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Honda… turns out perfect. The lines of the car all line up, the body work is never wavy… and the paint is absolutely perfect. I have never had a complaint about any of the jobs he has done.
Go see him if you are looking for a good Auto Body Shop.

I brought my car here to have Apex paint and install an M Tech kit on my 3 series. Paul was a pleasure to work with and I’m glad I brought my car here. I bought an aftermarket kit, so I was of course a little worried about fitment… On top of that I have a metallic white car so matching the paint was also a concern. Apex pulled through and I was definitely impressed with the quality of work, communication and customer service. They had to work around a couple of things because of missing parts etc, but at the end of the day, Apex completed a professional install that made me more than happy. If you need a dependable, pro body shop that does A+ work, look no further than Apex! Thanks Paul!

This review is long overdue as I’ve been taking my car to Paul for years now. His work is second to none and believe me when I say you’ll be getting compliments from random car enthusiasts after he’s done with it!
He not only does amazing work, but has a keen eye for the little details as well. Apex never ceases to amaze me. His prices alone will make your jaw drop. If you’re ever looking for a great body shop that you can trust, Apex Auto Body is your spot!

Took my car here to get the m sport body kit installed and paint for my BMW. Paul the owner was very nice and answered all my questions with his good knowledge. It took them one week to complete the project. When I saw my car, I was very amazed of how the car looked. Paul and his gang did a fantastic job and I highly recommend this place. Thanks Paul!

Apex did an excellent job repairing my G37 without any hassle or price changes.
I had a large scratch and dent near my tire well and you can’t even tell it was ever there. The price was very reasonable and it was done on time. Paul is a great guy and does very quality work. They’ve definitely earned a new loyal customer!

Can’t really say much about this place that hasn’t already been said.
Paul is honest, does great work, is prompt/​on time, and the price is right!
You see some pretty nice cars here, from all over the bay. Lotus, Porsche, MBZ, BMW, Audi, Bugatti, etc. and that was just when I was at his shop last.
They have done a couple of insurance jobs for me, but I definitely recommend this shop to all of my friends for any body work.
