History

Established in 2014.

My name is Nickki, I live in Northern California with my two Black labs Bentley and Molly and a proud mom of three kids and 2 step daughters. I’ve been practicing the art of calligraphy most of my life. I discovered Pointed Pen Calligraphy over 2 years ago and it has become my passion. I’ve always had a passion for letters, paper, ink and handmade things. I share this passion with family, friends, clients and students. I feel something handwritten or homemade is more beautiful than anything a computer can create. It never gets old to see someones face light up when they receive a beautiful card or invitation handwritten in calligraphy. Calligraphy for an event, wedding, poem etc gives an added «WOW» factor that a label can’t give.

I’m always improving upon my craft by attending workshops, individual classes with a teacher, and online. I’m currently studying with Master Calligrapher James Fazz Farrel and Paola Robbes from Italy.

If you interested in learning Pointed Pen Copperplate or Modern Calligraphy, I teach at the Santana Row Paper Source twice a month. Classes sell out usually within the first week.
