It was a saturday mornng, my first time back since ownership change from Xanh Café. I’m not a morning person, but was«allured» here because of the high recommendations of the Wonton soup. My experience with coffee shops are that of dark, smoke-filled internet-gaming dungeons with waitresses dressed for the beach, on top of the ever so loud, overpowering music, usually a home mix of trance and viet music, interchanging, sometimes even repeating… But not at Allure. 5 stars given here for playing the most old school vietnamese music(pre-1975) that you don’t find playing elsewhere… kudos Allure! Plus, need I mention the outside patio area(surrounding fence rebuilt with a fresh coat of paint) which is surrounded by flatscreens, making it a great haven for sports fans & ideal for chain smokers. The demographics of the customers that morning ranked in the more mature age group(I’m guessing they come for the music as well). Overall, aside from great wonton soup, friendly service & fresh air while you smoke… if you’re looking for a place to kick’it, come here… because after your coffee break you can do everything else you need to do, as you will find any/every kind of business in the same complex
